Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)†26
Fuel Economy
There are several factors that contribute to your vehicle’s fuel economy, such as maintenance of your vehicle, driving style,
environmental conditions, vehicle weight and vehicle aerodynamics. Below are some tips on how to help improve fuel economy:
•Keep your vehicle in good condition with regular maintenance
•Don’t let the engine idle longer than necessary
•Drive at a moderate speed, accelerating smoothly and at a moderate rate
•Keep tires inflated to the recommended pressure
•Travel lightly, without carrying unnecessary weight in your vehicles
•Avoid placing large or heavy items on roof racks
•Avoid hilly, winding or poorly maintained roads
Refer to section 4 in the Owner’s Manual for more information or snap the QR Code above to view a video.
•Even with TPMS, tire pressure should be checked
manually at least once a month. Only adjust tire
pressure on “cold tires” that have been sitting for at
least 20 minutes tires and are not hot in temperature
from direct sunlight or heat
•For proper maintenance and optimal fuel economy,
maintain recommended tire inflation pressures and
stay within the load limits and weight distribution
recommended for your vehicle
•In winter or cold weather, the TPMS light may illuminate
if the tire pressure was adjusted to the recommended
tire inflation pressure during warm weather
QUICK TIPS
REMINDERS:
• Check the recommended tire pressure label located on the left
side of driver’s door jamb, visible when the door is opened
• Consult your dealer for service if the Low Tire Pressure Light
remains illuminated after inflating your tire(s)
• Personal electronic devices (such as laptops, wireless
chargers, remote start systems, etc.) may interfere with the
TPMS system, which may cause the Malfunction Warning
Indicator (Check Engine Light) to illuminate
This illustration is for demonstration
purposes only. Actual image on
vehicle may vary.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)*†6
Lane Departure Warning system is designed to detect the lane markers
using a front view camera on the windshield and can warn the driver
when the vehicle starts departing from the lane.
With the Engine Start/Stop button in the ON position, press the LDW
button Ato turn the system ON. The instrument cluster indicator
will initially illuminate white. It will remain white when the vehicle is
traveling slower than 40 mph and the system does not detect the lane
markers. When the LDW system detects the lane markers, the LDW
icon will illuminate green.
If LDW detects that you are moving outside of your lane, the system
may issue a warning on the LCD screen and an alert may sound.
The system will operate under the following conditions:
•The vehicle speed exceeds approximately 40 mph
•The LDW system recognizes the lane the vehicle is traveling in
•The vehicle is between the lane markers
REMINDERS:
• LDW will not issue a warning if the turn signal or hazard signal is activated
• If the LDW system is set on or off and the ignition is cycled, the system returns
to its previous state
Refer to section 5 in the Owner’s Manual for more information.
Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is
not a substitute for safe and proper
driving. Always drive safely and use
caution. LDW may not always alert
the driver if the vehicle is driven
outside of its lane.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)*†6
FCA is designed to help alert the driver and, under certain conditions, temporarily apply emergency braking when
rapidly approaching a vehicle that is slowing down, braking or stopped. Initially, FCA provides Forward Collision
Warning (FCW) when it detects a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian in front, emitting an audible
warning and visual alert on the instrument cluster.
If the system detects that the collision risk has increased, FCA automatically applies the brakes to reduce your
speed, potentially helping to reduce the effects of a possible collision.
To turn the FCA system on, go to User Settings > Driver Assistance > Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. The alert
settings (Early, Normal, Late) can also be adjusted in the User Settings.
FCA / FCW will become active when the:
• Engine Start/Stop button is ON
• Vehicle is traveling faster than approximately 6 mph
• Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is ON
Manual Folding Mirrors*
To fold the mirrors in manually, pull the mirror
towards the window.
REMINDERS:
• FCA / FCW will be activated by default when vehicle power is cycled on, even when previously set to off
• FCA / FCW will not operate when the vehicle is traveling faster than approximately 50 mph
• If FCA is operating and the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is turned off, the FCA system is automatically turned off
• When FCA is off, the FCA warning indicator is on in the Instrument Cluster
Refer to section 5 in the Owner’s Manual for more information.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist

(FCW)* are not substitutes for safe
and proper driving. Always drive
safely and use caution. FCA / FCW
may not always alert the driver
when the vehicle is approaching
another vehicle.
