Kikusui KRA2 User manual

本製品は標準ラックに、機器を組み込むために使用するラックマウントアダプタです。KRA2 はEIA 規格標準ラックに、
KRA100 はJIS 規格標準ラックに対応します。
部品構成
下図は KRA100 を示しています。
組み立て
上図を参考にして組み立ててください。部品番号⑥～⑩、⑫、⑬は、機器の取り付け時に使用します。部品番号⑭～⑮
は、ラック組み込み時に使用します。部品番号⑯は KRA100 専用です。
機器の取り付け準備
● ハンドルの取り外し
ハンドルのカバー aを上方に引き上げて外します。
M4 ねじ bを外すとハンドル c、dが外れます。
● ゴム足の取り外し
底面のゴム足を外します。
● ストッパー金具の取り付け
底面のシールを剥がし、角穴を開放します。
ストッパー金具⑧を図のように当て、矢印方向へ挿入します。

機器の取り付け
● 機器を水平レール（前後）に載せる
機器を少し持ち上げて、底面に取り付けたストッパー金具⑧が水平レール
（前）④に当たらないようにします。
ストッパー金具⑧を、水平レール（後）⑤の溝へ入れます。
機器底面の爪が水平レール（前）④の溝へ入っていることを確認してくだ
さい。
● マウンティングレールを取り付ける
マウンティングレール⑥を矢印方向に押して、機器底面の爪をマウンティ
ングレールの溝へ入れます。
マウンティングレール⑥は、4ヶ所をボルト⑦で固定します。
機器の横ぶれ防止
機器がラック幅に満たない場合は、機器の横ぶれ防止のための固定金具を取り付けてください。
● 固定金具を取り付ける
固定金具⑨および⑩を水平レール（後）⑤の溝に入れます。
固定金具⑨および⑩は、機器の左右側面に各 1組づつ取り付けます。
固定金具⑨および⑩を機器に密着させて、ねじ⑫、⑬で固定します。
ブランクパネル（オプション）の取り付け
ブランクパネル底面の爪を、水平レール（前）④の溝に入れます。
マウンティングレール⑥を矢印方向に押して、ブランクパネル底面の爪
をマウンティングレール⑥の溝へ入れます。
マウンティングレール⑥は、4ヶ所をボルト⑦で固定します。
ブランクパネルに付属のねじ M3×10 で、水平レール（前）④に固定します。
ラックへの取り付け
丸皿ねじ⑭（M5×14）および、カップワッ
シャ⑮を使用します。
重量物の場合には、図のようにサポートア
ングルを、ラック本体に取り付けてくださ
い。

These rack mount adapters are used to rack devices to standard racks. KRA2 is for EIA standard racks, and KRA100 is for JIS
standard racks.
Components
The figure below shows KRA100.
Assembly
Assemble the rack mount adapter as shown in the figure above. Part numbers ⑥ to⑩, ⑫, and⑬ are used to attach the device
to the rack mount adapter. Part numbers ⑭ and ⑮ are used to rack-mount the device. Part number ⑯ is only for the KRA100.
Preparing the device for rack mounting
●Remove the handle
Raise the handle cover (a), and remove it.
Unfasten the M4 screw (b) to remove the handle parts (c and d).
●Remove the rubber feet
Remove the rubber feet from the bottom of the device.
●Attach the stopper fittings
Remove the seals from the square holes on the bottom of the device.
Insert the stopper fitting ⑧ into the hole in the direction shown by the arrow.

Mounting the device
●Mount the device on the front and rear horizontal rails
Lift the device a little, and make sure that the stopper fittings ⑧ that you
attached to the bottom of the device do not make contact with the front
horizontal rail ④.
Insert the stopper fittings ⑧ into the groove of the rear horizontal rail ⑤.
Make sure that the tabs on the bottom of the device are inserted into the
groove of the front horizontal rail ④.
●Attach the mounting rail
Push the mounting rail ⑥ in the direction indicated by the arrow, and insert the
tabs on the bottom of the device into the groove of the mounting rail.
Secure the mounting rail ⑥ in place using four bolts ⑦.
Preventing the device from shifting sideways
If the device is narrower than the width of the rack, attach metal brackets to prevent the device from shifting sideways.
●Attach the metal brackets
Insert the metal brackets ( ⑨ and ⑩) into the groove of the rear horizontal rail ⑤.
Attach a pair of metal brackets ( ⑨ and ⑩) to the left side of the device, and do the
same for the right side.
Securely connect the metal brackets (⑨ and ⑩) to the device using screws (⑫ and ⑬).
Attaching the blank panel (option)
Insert the tabs on the bottom of the blank panel into the groove of the front
horizontal rail ④.
Push the mounting rail ⑥ in the direction indicated by the arrow, and insert the
tabs on the bottom of the device into the groove of the mounting rail.
Secure the mounting rail ⑥ in place using four bolts ⑦.
Securely connect the blank panel to the front horizontal rail ④ using the screws
that came with the blank panel (M3×10).
Rack mounting the device
Use the raised countersunk head screws ( ⑭;
M5×14) and cup washers ⑮.
If the device is heavy, attach support angles
to the rack as shown in the figure.
