Description
This manual includes installation and wiring information for the
following mounting bases:
Base Description
KZ705 Standard mounting base for conventional and
addressable fire alarm systems.
KZ705D Standard mounting base with diode for conventional fire
alarm systems.
KZ705I Standard mounting base with isolator for addressable
fire alarm systems.
KZD705 Deep mounting base for conventional and addressable
fire alarm systems.
Wiring
Caution: To ensure correct operation of your system, you
must follow the recommended cabling practices described
below.
The cable used should:
• Have a cross-sectional area of at least 1.5 mm2
• Have maximum resistance of 13.3 Ω/km per core
Direct cable connection
The KZD705 deep mounting base allows for direct cable
connection by breaking the cable entry tab (see figure 4). The
maximum cable width is 10 mm.
KZ705, KZ705D, and KZ705I mounting bases allow for direct
cable and tube connection using a S700 adapter (not
supplied).
Connection
Connect the detector base as shown in Figures 1 to 3:

End-of-line connection:
• KZ705 / KZD705: connect contacts 1 and 3.
• KZ705D: connect contacts 1 and 4.
All bases except the KZ705D require an earth connection.
Maintenance and testing
Basic maintenance consists of a yearly inspection. Do not
modify the internal wiring or circuitry.
Test procedure for KZ705, KZD705, and KZ705D bases:
1. Remove the detector head from the base.
2. If the control panel fails to indicate the test all connections
should be checked and the unit address verified (where
applicable).
Test procedure for KZ705I bases:
1. Remove the detector head from the base and verify that
the correct alarm is produced at the control panel.
2. Test the isolator by provoking a short circuit between
connectors 1 and 6, verifying that the isolator status LED
indicates this action. Repeat for connectors 1 to 7.
3. If the status LED and control panel fail to indicate the test,
all connections should be checked and the unit address
verified (where applicable).

Základna Popis
KZ705 Standardní montážní základna pro konvenční a
adresovatelné požární poplachové systémy.
KZ705D Standardní montážní základna s diodou pro konvenční
požární poplachové systémy.
KZ705I Standardní montážní základna s izolátorem pro
adresovatelné požární poplachové systémy.
KZD705 Vysoká montážní základna pro konvenční a
adresovatelné požární poplachové systémy.
Zapojení
Upozornění: Abyste zajistili správnou činnost vašeho
systému, musíte při zapojování kabelů dodržet doporučené
postupy, které jsou popsány níže.
Použitý kabel by měl mít:
• Plochu průřezu nejméně 1,5 mm2
• Maximální odpor jednotlivých vodičů 13,3 Ω/km
Přímé připojení kabelu
Vysoká montážní základna KZD705 umožňuje přímé připojení
kabelu vylomením záslepky kabelové průchodky (viz obrázek
4). Maximální průměr kabelu činí 10 mm.
Montážní základny KZ705, KZ705D a KZ705I umožňují přímé
připojení kabelu a kabelovodu pomocí adaptéru S700 (není
součástí dodávky).
Připojení
Základnu hlásiče připojte tak, jak je znázorněno na obrázcích 1
až 3:

Zapojení zakončovacího odporu u konvenčních systémů:
• KZ705 / KZD705: spojte kontakty 1 a 3.
• KZ705D: spojte kontakty 1 a 4.
Všechny základny mimo typu KZ705D vyžadují uzemnění.
Údržba a zkoušení
Základní údržba se omezuje na kontrolu prováděnou jednou za
rok. Neupravujte vnitřní zapojení ani obvody.
Postup při zkoušení základen KZ705, KZD705 a KZ705D:
1. Sejměte hlavu hlásiče ze základny.
2. Pokud ústředna neindikuje poruchu, měla by být
zkontrolována všechna spojení a ověřena adresa jednotky
(lze-li tento postup použít).
Postup při zkoušení základen KZ705I:
1. Sejměte hlavu hlásiče ze základny a ověřte, zda ústředna
aktivovala správnou poplašnou signalizaci.
2. Přezkoušejte odpojovač záměrným způsobením zkratu
mezi konektory 1 a 6. Přitom ověřte, zda stavový indikátor
odpojovače na tento zásah reaguje. Postup zopakujte u
konektorů 1 až 7.
3. Pokud stavový indikátor a ústředna neindikují poruchu,
měla by být zkontrolována všechna spojení a ověřena
adresa jednotky (lze-li tento postup použít).

Zócalo Descripción
KZD705 Zócalo de montaje profundo para sistemas de detección
convencionales y analógicos.
Conexiones
Precaución: Para garantizar el correcto funcionamiento del
sistema, debe seguir los procedimientos de cableado
recomendados que se describen a continuación.
El cable utilizado debe:
• Presentar un área de sección cruzada de, al menos, 1,5
mm2.
• Tener una resistencia máxima de 13,3 Ω/km por hilo
Conexión de cable directa
El zócalo de montaje profundo KZD705 hace posible la
conexión directa del cable; basta con retirar la pestaña de
bloqueo de la entrada del cable (ver figura 4). El ancho
máximo del cable es de 10 mm.
Los zócalos de montaje KZ705, KZ705D y KZ705I permiten la
conexión directa de cable y de tubo mediante un adaptador
S700 de (no se proporciona).
Conexión
Conecte la base del detector tal y como se muestra en las
figuras 1 a 3:

Resistencia de final de línea:

Mantenimiento y pruebas
El mantenimiento básico consiste en una inspección anual. No
modifique el circuito interno ni la disposición de los cables.
Procedimiento de prueba para los zócalos KZ705, KZD705
y KZ705D:
1. Desmonte la cabeza del detector de la base.
2 Si el panel de control no indica la realización de la prueba,
deben comprobarse todas las conexiones y debe
verificarse la dirección de la unidad.
Procedimiento de prueba para los zócalos KZ705I:
1 Retire la cabeza del detector de la base y verifique que
aparece la avería correcta en el panel de control.
2 Pruebe el aislador provocando un cortocircuito entre los
conectores 1 y 6, verificando que el LED de estado del
aislador indica esta acción. Repita con los contactos 1 y 7.
3 Si el LED de estado y el panel de control no pueden
indicar la realización de la prueba, deben comprobarse
todas las conexiones y debe verificarse la dirección de la
unidad (donde proceda).

Base Description
KZD705 Base de montage profonde pour systèmes d'alarme
incendie conventionnels et adressables.
Câblage
Attention : pour garantir le bon fonctionnement de votre
système, vous devez suivre les procédures de câblage
recommandées décrites ci-dessous.
Le câble utilisé doit :
• avoir une section transversale d'au moins 1,5 mm2
• avoir une résistance maximale de 13,3 Ω/km par
conducteur
Raccordement direct du câble
La base de montage profonde KZD705 permet de raccorder
directement le câble en cassant la languette d'entrée de câble
(voir Figure 4). La largeur de câble maximum est 10 mm.
Les bases de montage KZ705, KZ705D et KZ705I permettent
de raccorder directement le câble et le tube en utilisant un
adaptateur S700 (non fourni).
Raccordement
La base du détecteur se raccorde comme le montrent les
Figures 1 à 3 :

borne de terre.
Maintenance et test
La maintenance normale consiste en une inspection annuelle.

2. Si la centrale de détection incendie ne signale pas le test,

bornes 1 et 6 et en vérifiant que la LED d'état de l'isolateur
signale cette action. Répétez l'opération pour les bornes 1
à 7.
3. Si la LED d'état et la centrale ne signalent pas le test,

Kábelezés
Vigyázat: A rendszer megfelelő működésének biztosításához
követnie kell az alább leírt ajánlott kábelezési gyakorlatot.
Az alkalmazott vezetékek legyenek:
• Legalább 1,5 mm2keresztmetszetűek,
• 13,3 Ω/km maximális ellenállásúak érszálanként
Közvetlen kábelcsatlakoztatás
A KZD705 magasított aljzat a kábel közvetlen csatlakoztatását
is lehetővé teszi, ha letöri a kábelbevezető fülét (lásd: 4. ábra).
A maximális kábelvastagság 10 mm.
A KZ705, KZ705D és KZ705I aljzatokhoz a kábelek
közvetlenül és kábelcsatornával is csatlakoztathatók a S700
adapter segítségével (nem tartozék).
Csatlakoztatás
Csatlakoztassa az érzékelő aljzatát az 1–3. ábrán látható
módon:

Lezáró csatlakozás:
• KZ705 / KZD705: csatlakoztassa az 1. és 3. bekötési
pontot.
• KZ705D: csatlakoztassa az 1. és 4. bekötési pontot.
A KZ705D kivételével minden aljzathoz földelést kell
csatlakoztatni.
Karbantartás és ellenőrzés
Az alapvető karbantartás évenkénti átvizsgálásból áll. Ne
módosítsa a belső kábelezést vagy az áramköri kapcsolást.
A KZ705, KZD705 és KZ705D aljzatok ellenőrzési eljárása:
1. Szerelje le az érzékelőfejet az aljzatról.
2. Ha a központ nem a kellő módon reagál, ellenőrizze az
összes csatlakozót és az egység címét (ha alkalmazható).
A KZ705I aljzatok ellenőrzési eljárása:
1. Szerelje le az érzékelőfejet az aljzatról, és győződjön meg
arról, hogy a megfelelő riasztás jelenik meg a központon.
2. Az izolátor ellenőrzéséhez idézzen elő rövidzárlatot az 1.
és 6. csatlakozók között, és győződjön meg arról, hogy az
izolátor állapotjelző LED jelzőfénye jelzést ad erről.
Ismételje meg ugyanezt az 1. és 7. csatlakozók között.
3. Ha az állapotjelző LED és a központ nem a kellő módon
reagál, ellenőrizze az összes csatlakozót és az egység
címét (ha alkalmazható).

Cablaggio
Attenzione: per assicurare il corretto funzionamento del
sistema, è necessario seguire le istruzioni di cablaggio
descritte di seguito.
Il cavo utilizzato dovrebbe:
• avere una sezione di almeno 1,5 mm2
• avere una resistenza massima di 13,3 Ω/km per
conduttore
Connessione diretta del cavo
La base di montaggio con profilo KZ705D consente una
connessione diretta del cavo, rompendo la plastica predisposta
per l'ingresso del cavo (vedere figura 4). La larghezza
massima consentita del cavo è di 10 mm.
Le basi di montaggio KZ705, KZ705D e KZ705I consentono
una connessione diretta del cavo e del tubo utilizzando un
distanziale S700 (non fornito).
Collegamento
Collegare la base per rivelatore come illustrato nelle
figure 1 - 3:

bisogno di un collegamento di messa a terra.
Manutenzione e verifica
La manutenzione di base consiste in un'ispezione annuale.
Non modificare/manipolare il cablaggio o i circuiti interni.
Procedura di test per le basi KZ705, KZD705 e KZ705D:
1 Rimuovere il rivelatore dalla base.
2 Se la centrale non segnala nulla durante la verifica,
controllare tutte le connessioni e verificare l’indirizzo del
dispositivo (dove applicabile).
Procedura di test per basi KZ705I:
1 Rimuovere il rivelatore dalla base e verificare che la
centrale segnali correttamente l’allarme.
2 Controllare l’intervento dell'isolatore provocando un corto
circuito tra i connettori 1 e 6 e verificando che l'azione sia
segnalata dal LED di stato dell'isolatore. Ripetere la
precedente procedura per i connettori 1-7.
3 Se il LED di stato e la centrale non segnalano nulla
durante la verifica, controllare tutte le connessioni e
verificare l’indirizzo del dispositivo (dove applicabile).

Bekabeling
Let op: Om een correcte werking van uw systeem te
garanderen, moet u de hieronder beschreven richtlijnen voor
de bekabeling opvolgen.
De gebruikte kabels moeten:
• een dwarsdoorsnedegebied van ten minste 1,5 mm2
hebben;
• een maximale weerstand hebben van 13,3 Ω/km per kern.
Kabels rechtstreeks aansluiten
Op de hoge montagesokkel KZD705 kunt u rechtstreeks
kabels aansluiten door het lipje van de kabelinvoer te breken
(zie afbeelding 4). De maximale kabelbreedte is 10 mm.
Op de montagesokkels KZ705, KZ705D en KZ705I kunt u
rechtstreeks kabels en kabelbuizen aansluiten met behulp van
de adapter S700 (niet meegeleverd).

Eindaansluiting:
• KZ705 / KZD705: verbind de aansluitingen 1 en 3.
• KZ705D: verbind de aansluitingen 1 en 4.
Alle sokkels, met uitzondering van de KZ705D, moeten worden
geaard.
Onderhoud en testen
Het basisonderhoud blijft beperkt tot een jaarlijkse inspectie.
Wijzig nooit de interne bedrading of circuits.
Testprocedure voor de sokkels KZ705, KZD705 en
KZ705D:
1. Neem de detectorkop van de sokkel.
2. Als het brandmeldpaneel de test niet aangeeft, moet u alle
aansluitingen controleren en het adres van de eenheid
verifiëren (indien van toepassing).
Testprocedure voor de sokkel KZ705I:
1. Neem de detectorkop van de sokkel en controleer of op
het brandmeldpaneel het juiste alarm wordt aangegeven.
2. Test de isolator. Maak kortsluiting tussen aansluitingen 1
en 6, en controleer of dit wordt aangegeven door het
statuslampje van de isolator. Herhaal deze procedure met
aansluitingen 1 en 7.
3. Als het statuslampje en het brandmeldpaneel de test niet
aangeven, moet u alle aansluitingen controleren en het
adres van de eenheid verifiëren (indien van toepassing).

Podłączenie
Uwaga: Aby zapewnić prawidłowe działanie systemu, należy
postępować zgodnie z poniższymi zasadami stosowania
okablowania.
Zastosowane kable — wytyczne:
• Przekrój powinienwynosić min. 1,5 mm2

Bezpośrednie połączenie kablowe
W przypadku głębokiej podstawy montażowej KZD705 można
zastosować bezpośrednie połączenie kablowe, usuwając
zabezpieczenie otworu wejściowego kabla (patrz rys. 4).
Maksymalna grubość kabla wynosi 10 mm.
W przypadku podstaw montażowych KZ705, KZ705D i KZ705I
można zastosować bezpośrednie połączenie kablowe i
rurkowe za pomocą adaptera S700 (brak w zestawie).

Ligações
Cuidado: Para assegurar um correcto funcionamento do seu
sistema, deve seguir as especificações de cabos abaixo
recomendadas.
Os cabos utilizados devem:
• Ter uma secção com um mínimo de 1,5 mm2
• Ter uma resistência máxima de 13,3 Ω/km por condutor
Ligação directa dos cabos
A base de alto perfil KZD705 permite a ligação directa dos
cabos por quebra da patilha para a entrada de cabos (consulte
a Figura 4). A largura máxima dos cabos é 10 mm.
As bases de montagem KZ705, KZ705D e KZ705I permitem a
ligação directa de cabos e tubos utilizando um adaptador S700
(não fornecido).

Manutenção e testes
A manutenção básica consiste numa inspecção anual. Não
modifique as ligações internas nem os circuitos.
Procedimento de teste para as bases KZ705, KZD705 e
KZ705D:
1. Retire a cabeça do detector da base.
2. Se o painel de controlo não indicar o teste, devem ser
inspeccionadas todas as ligações e o endereço da
unidade (onde aplicável).
Procedimento de teste para as bases KZ705I:
1. Retire a cabeça do detector da base e verifique se é
activado o alarme correcto no painel de controlo.
2. Teste o isolador provocando um curto-circuito entre os
conectores 1 e 6, e verificando que o LED de estado do
isolador indica esta acção. Repita para os conectores 1 a
7.
3. Se o LED de estado e o painel de controlo não indicarem
o teste, devem ser inspeccionadas todas as ligações e o
endereço da unidade (onde aplicável).
