Description
The PA25/3L Remote LED Indicator provides an external
alarm indication for a detector that is out of view or in an
enclosed area. The unit uses three LED diodes to provide
reduced consumption illumination.
Installation
WARNING: This product is part of a fire detection and alarm
system. Follow all local regulations with regard to installation.
Caution: If the product is not connected to a UTC
Fire & Security detector, or if the product is used for any
purpose other than that indicated, ensure that all voltage and
current specifications remain inside the specified limits. See
“Specifications.”
Notes
• Install the unit in an area of high visibility to ensure rapid
reaction by fire security personnel.
• See the fire detector manual for electrical connection
guidelines.
The LED indicator includes a surface-mounting fixture with
entry points on either side for 20 mm tubing. For recessed
mounting, use a standard recessed mounting box.
The unit can be connected to analogue or conventional fire
systems using the appropriate terminal. (See Figure 1.)

Beschreibung
PA25/3L Remote LED Indicator bietet einen externen Alarm für

Stromverbrauch hinsichtlich der Beleuchtung.
Installation
WARNUNG: Dieses Produkt ist Teil eines Brandmelder- und
Alarmsystems. Befolgen Sie bei der Installation alle örtlich
geltenden Vorschriften.
Achtung: Wird das Produkt nicht an einen UTC Fire &
Security Melder angeschlossen oder für einen anderen als den
angegebenen Zweck verwendet, ist darauf zu achten, dass alle
angegebenen Grenzwerte für Spannung und Strom
eingehalten werden. Siehe "Technische Daten".
Hinweise
• Installieren Sie das Gerät deutlich sichtbar, um eine
schnelle Reaktion durch das Sicherheitspersonal zu
gewährleisten.
• Hinweise für den Anschluss der elektrischen Leitungen
entnehmen Sie bitte Handbuch des Brandmelders.
Die LED-Anzeige besitzt eine Halterung zur Aufputzmontage
mit Kabeleinführungen für ein 20 mm Kabel auf beiden Seiten.
Zur versenkten Montage verwenden Sie ein standardmäßig
eingelassenes Montagegehäuse.
Das Gerät kann über die entsprechenden Klemmen an
analoge oder konventionelle Brandmeldesysteme
angeschlossen werden. (Siehe Abbildung 1.)

Bei konventionellen Systemen leuchtet nur eine einzelne LED.

Wartung
Der Wartungsaufwand ist abhängig von der jeweiligen
Umgebung. In sauberen Umgebungen können Sie in
regelmäßigen Abständen Funktionstests durchführen, indem
Sie den an das Gerät angeschlossenen Melder aktivieren.
Hinweis: Die Reparatur von Fehler darf nur durch qualifiziertes
Personal vorgenommen werden.

Descripción
El PA25/3L Remote LED Indicator proporciona una indicación
de alarma externa para un detector que se encuentra fuera de
la vista o en un área cerrada. La unidad utiliza tres diodos LED
para proporcionar un consumo de iluminación reducido.
Instalación
ADVERTENCIA: este producto forma parte de un sistema de
detección y alarma de incendios. Siga las normativas locales

Precaución: si el producto no está conectado a un detector
UTC Fire & Security, o si se utiliza para cualquier otro fin
distinto del indicado, asegúrese de que todas las

analógicos o convencionales utilizando el terminal apropiado.

Installazione

Installatie
WAARSCHUWING: Dit product maakt deel uit van een
brandmeld- en alarmsysteem. Volg alle lokale richtlijnen met
betrekking tot de installatie.
Let op: Als het product niet is aangesloten op een UTC Fire &
Security-detector of als het product voor andere doeleinden
wordt gebruikt dan is aangegeven, moet ervoor worden
gezorgd dat alle spannings- en voedingsspecificaties binnen
de gespecificeerde limieten blijven. Zie “Specificaties.”
Opmerkingen
• Installeer de LED-indicator in een gebied met goed zicht,
zodat het brandbeveiligingspersoneel snel kan reageren.
• Raadpleeg de handleiding van de brandmelder voor
richtlijnen aangaande de elektrische verbinding.
De LED-indicator is voorzien van een opbouwbehuizing met
buisingangen aan beide zijden voor buizen van 20 mm. Voor
inbouw kan gebruik worden gemaakt van een standaard
inbouwdoos.
De eenheid kan worden aangesloten op analoge of
conventionele brandmeldsystemen met behulp van de juiste
aansluitingen. (Zie afbeelding 1.)

Opis
PA25/3L Remote LED Indicator umożliwia sygnalizację alarmu
w przypadku czujki, która znajduje się poza zasięgiem wzroku
lub w zamkniętym pomieszczeniu. Urządzenie korzysta z
trzech diod LED, zapewniając oświetlenie o ograniczonym
natężeniu.
Montaż
OSTRZEŻENIE: Ten produkt stanowi część systemów detekcji
i sygnalizacji pożaru. Należy przestrzegać wszystkich
lokalnych przepisów dotyczących instalacji.
Przestroga: Jeśli produkt nie jest podłączony do czujki UTC
Fire & Security lub jeśli jest używany do celów innych niż
wskazane, należy się upewnić, że spełnione są wszystkie
