General instructions
After fixing the mounting kit the distance between the ceiling
and the projector bottom is approx. 7.5 cm.
The distance between the drill-holes on your projector for fi-
xing the mounting kit must be between 120 mm and 350 mm.
The projector can be fastened to only 3 carrying arms
(sometimes to only 2 – then use the 2 other arms as support).
Due its joint the holding plate can be tilted by ±12°and
rotated by ±180°.
Informations générales
La distance entre le plafond et le socle du projecteur est de
7,5 cm. Le domaine d‘attaches de votre projecteur doit être
entre 120 mm et 350 mm.
Une fixation avec 3 bras uniquement est possible – dans cer-
tains cas également avec 2 bras. Dans ce cas, utiliser les deux
autres bras en tant que soutient.
L’articulation du montage plafond a une articulation qui vous
permet un inclinement de ±12°dans toutes les directions et
de tourner le projecteur à ±180°.

Mounting
Loosen the safety screw, take off the mounting plate (1) from
the unit and fix it at the proper location with suitable screws
and plugs.
Put your projector upside down on a soft surface.
Adjust the variable carrying arms of the holder (2) to the
position of the drill-holes on the projector body, and fasten
the projector by inserting the screws (M3, M4 or M5) into the
drill-holes.
Check the stability of the construction!
Attach the mains and the wiring, and push the projector
holder with the projector into the pre-mounted mounting plate
until it engages.
Secure the construction by fixing the safety screw on the
mounting plate.
Advice:
For exact adjustment you should be able to move the upper
part of the projector holder. If the joint is too tight or too
loose, you can manipulate the clamp with a spanner.
As the remote control usually switches to stand-by when the
projector is not in use, we recommend you to equip the mains
with an additonal on/off switch.
If the drill-holes on the projector body are not level, a height
difference of max. 8 mm can be compensated by re-arranging
the carrying arms.
Preparation
First choose the location of the ceiling fixture with the projec-
tor in accordance with the projection distance and the position
of the lens! If in doubt, test the projection.
Provide the proper material and tools for fixing the mounting
plate (1) on the ceiling.
For fixing the projector you need 2 spanners SW10 and a
Phillips screw driver.
Montage
Dévisser puis retirer la vis de sécuritéde la plaque plafond
(1) et fixer cette plaque avec les vis et chevilles appropriées
àl’endroit souhaitéau plafond.
Poser votre projecteur (partie inférieure sur le dessus) sur
une surface douce. Positioner les bras du montage plafond (2)
selon les points d’attaches de votre projecteur et les fixer
avec les sets de vis livrés (M3, M4 ou M5).
Vérifier la stabilitéde cette fixation.
Brancher le câble de tension ainsi que le(s) câble(s) vidéo /
informatique et insérer le porte-projecteur et le projecteur
jusqu’à la butée de la plaque-plafond. Visser la vis de sécurité
du porte-projecteur àla plaque plafond.
Attention !
Pour le réglage précis de la projection, l’articulation doit être
mobile. Si cette partie est trop mobile ou trop dure, vous
pouvez le régler àl’aide des deux clés ouvertes.
Puisque le télécommande du projecteur, en cas de non-utilisa-
tion, ne premet que la mise en veille, nous recommandons
l’utilisation d’un interrupteur séparé.
Des hauteurs différentes des trous d‘attache du projecteur
peuvent être compensées jusqu‘à 8 mm en échangeant les
quatre bras.
Préparations
Vérifier tout d’abord le positionnement du montage plafond
selon la distance àl’écran et la position de l’objectif par
rapport au centre de l‘écran. En cas de doute, faire un test de
projection. Acheter le matériel nécessaire pour la fixation du
montage plafond au plafond, adaptéau matériel de votre
plafond. Pour la fixation du projecteur, vous avez également
besoin de 2 clés ouvertes SW10 et un tourne-vis croix.

Generelle Erläuterungen
Bei installierter Halterung beträgt die Höhe von Decke bis
Projektor-Unterseite ca. 7,5 cm.
Der Befestigungsbereich der Gewindebohrungen in Ihrem Pro-
jektor sollte zwischen den Durchmessern von 120 bis 350 mm
liegen.
Eine Befestigung an nur 3 Armen ist möglich –in manchen
Fällen auch mit 2 Armen. In diesem Fall die beiden freien
Arme als Abstützung verwenden.
Der Projektorhalter ist mit einem Gelenk ausgestattet, das in
allen Ebenen ±12°neigbar ist und ±180°gedreht werden
kann.
❍Überzeugen Sie sich in jedem Fall von der ausreichenden
Tragfähigkeit der Deckenkonstruktion und benutzen Sie
Schrauben und Dübel, die für die vorhandene Decken-
struktur geeignet sind.
❍Führen Sie nach der Montage einen Belastungstest,
mindestens mit der doppelten Belastung, durch.
❍Das maximale Projektorgewicht darf 10 kg nicht über-
schreiten!
❍Die Abluft des Projektors ist heiß! Auf ausreichende
Belüftung und Abstände zu anderen Materialien achten.
Durch Überhitzung kann das Gerät Schaden nehmen.
❍Die Anschlusskabel vom Projektor dürfen bei Neuausrich-
tung keinen übermäßigen Beanspruchungen ausgesetzt
werden.

❍Vérifier en tout cas la force de tenue du plafond soit
suffisante pour projecteur et support.
Utiliser uniquement des vis de grosseur suffisante, qui
sont spécialement conçues pour le matériel de plafond/
mur rencontré.
❍Faites un test de charge d’au moins le double du poids.
❍Le poids maximum du projecteur est 10 kg.
❍Le ventilateur du projecteur est chaud!
Faites attention aux distances nécessaires pour la circula-
tion d’air et la distance aux autres matériaux.
L’appareil peut être endommagéen cas de surchauffe.
❍Les câbles du projecteur ne doivent pas être sous tension
lors d’une nouvelle orientation du projecteur.
Consignes de sécurité
❍Make sure that the construction of the ceiling is suitable
for permanently holding the weight of the projector and
the mounting kit. Only use the proper screws and plugs
which are suitable for the construction of the ceiling.
❍After mounting the ceiling fixture, test the construction
with at least twice the weight of the projector.
❍The maximum weight of the projector must not exceed
10 kg!
❍The airflow of the projector is hot! Make sure that the
unit keeps its distance to other materials and that the
flow of fresh air is not hampered. The projector can be
ruined by overheating.
❍When adjusting the projector the mains must not be
squeezed, torn or damaged.
Safety instructions
Montage
Ziehen Sie nach Lockern der Sicherungsschraube die
Deckenbefestigungsplatte (1) von der Halterung ab und
befestigen sie über geeignete Halteschrauben/Dübel am
festgelegten Standort.
Legen Sie Ihren Projektor –Unterseite nach oben –auf eine
weiche Unterlage. Richten Sie die variablen Arme des Projek-
torhalters (2) entsprechend den Gewindebohrungen am Pro-
jektor aus und befestigen sie mit einem der mitgelieferten
Schraubensätze (M3, M4 oder M5).Prüfen Sie die Festigkeit
der Verbindung!
Schließen Sie Netzkabel und Signalkabel lose an und schieben
den Projektorhalter mit Projektor bis zum Anschlag in die
montierte Deckenbefestigungsplatte. Sichern Sie die
Verbindung durch Fixierung der Sicherungsschraube mit
Winkel an der Deckenbefestigungsplatte.
Hinweise:
Zur Feinjustage der Projektion sollte das Oberteil des Projek-
torhalters auf dem Gelenk beweglich sein. Sitzt das Teil zu
locker bzw. zu fest, können Sie mit zwei Gabelschlüssel die
Klemmschraube einstellen.
Da die Fernbedienung den Projektor bei Nichtbenutzung nor-
malerweise nur in den Stand-by-Betrieb versetzt, empfehlen
wir Ihnen, die Netzzuleitung mit einem zusätzlichen Ein-/Aus-
schalter auszustatten.
Bei unterschiedlichen Höhen der Befestigungsbuchsen am
Projektor, können durch Austauschen der vier Arme bis max.
8 mm Höhendifferenz ausgeglichen werden.
Vorbereitung
Überprüfen Sie zuerst den Standort der Deckenhalterung mit
Projektor nach Entfernung zur Projektionswand und der Lage
des Objektivs auf Mittelachse Projektionswand! Führen Sie
eine Testprojektion durch.
Besorgen Sie für die bauseitige Befestigung der Deckenbefe-
stigungsplatte (1) Montagematerial. Zur Befestigung des
Projektors benötigen Sie 2 Gabelschlüssel SW10 und einen
Kreuzschraubendreher.
