IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and/or
injury to persons, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or power head in water
or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Do not leave appliance unattended while in use.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning.
6. Avoid contacting moving parts.
7. Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
including canning jars, may result in re, electrical shock or injury to persons.
9. Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces including
stove.
11. Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades while processing food to reduce
the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the party chopper. A scraper may
be used but must be used only when the party chopper is not running.
12. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
13. This appliance is intended for processing small quantities of food for immediate
consumption. This appliance is not intended to prepare large quantities of food at
one time.
14. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on power base without rst
putting pitcher or bowl properly in place.
15. Be sure splash guard is securely in place before operating appliance.
16. When blending hot liquids, open (remove) cap over pour opening.
17. Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
18. Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven
or microwave.
19. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into an AC electrical
outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any other electrical outlet.
CORD PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not t into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement
or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may
be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply cord
or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it rmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are
found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress
on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF
APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT
During the rst few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and/or a slight odor.
This is normal and should quickly disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been
used a few more times.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

USING YOUR PARTY CHOPPER
Before rst use, remove any packaging material or labels before rst use. Wash all
pieces of the Party Chopper in warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly. Care should be
taken when cleaning the blades, as the blades are sharp.
USING THE 48 OUNCE PITCHER
CAUTION: Blades are sharp! Use extreme caution when handling the blades. Always
hold them by the shaft.
1. Place the 48 oz Pitcher on a clean, dry, level surface.
2. Holding the Tall Pitcher Blade by the shaft, place it onto the spindle inside the Pitcher.
3. Add the ingredients to be processed into the Pitcher.
4. Place the Pitcher Splash Guard onto the top of the Pitcher.
5. Place the Power Head on top of the Pitcher Splash Guard making sure that it is
securely in place. Do not attempt to operate the appliance without the Pitcher
Splash Guard in place.
6. To start, press the On/Off Pulse Button located on the top of the Power Head. To
stop, remove ngers from the On/Off Pulse Button. To obtain a better chopping
effect, momentarily press the On/Off Pulse Button instead of pressing and holding.
If the ingredients stick to the sides, stop the Party Chopper, remove the Power Head
and the Pitcher Splash Guard. Use a spatula to clean the sides and then replace
the Pitcher Splash Guard and Power Head. Continue blending. NOTE: Do not
operate the Party Chopper continuously for more than 15 seconds at a time.
7. Hold the 48 oz Pitcher rmly while pressing the On/Off Pulse Button to ensure the
unit stays in place.
8. Maker sure the blades have stopped completely before removing the Pitcher Splash
Guard.
9. Remove the Tall Pitcher Blade by its shaft before you empty the contents of the
Pitcher.
10. Never add ingredients into the Pitcher before placing the Tall Pitcher Blade in rst.
USING THE 16 OUNCE BOWL
CAUTION: Blades are sharp! Use extreme caution when handling the blades. Always
hold them by the shaft.
1. Place the 16 oz Bowl on a clean, dry, level surface.
2. Holding the Short Bowl Blade by the shaft, place it onto the spindle inside the Bowl
3. Add the ingredients to be processed into the Bowl.
4. Place the Bowl Splash Guard onto the top of the Bowl.
5. Place the Power Head on top of the Bowl Splash Guard making sure that it is
securely in place. Do not attempt to operate the appliance without the Bowl Splash
Guard in place.
6. To start, press the On/Off Pulse Button located on the top of the Power Head. To
stop, remove ngers from the On/Off Pulse Button. To obtain a better chopping
effect, momentarily press the On/Off Pulse Button instead of pressing and holding.

CARE AND CLEANING
CAUTION: Make sure the Power Head is unplugged from the power source before
inserting or removing any attachments and before cleaning.
TO CLEAN
• DO NOT immerse the Power Head into water or any other liquid. Clean with a
damp sponge or cloth and wipe dry.
• The Tall Pitcher, Bowl, Splash Guards,Blades and Storage Lid may be cleaned in
the upper basket of the dishwasher.
• Use extreme caution when cleaning the Blades as they are very sharp.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do
not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing requiring disassembly must be performed by a
qualied appliance repair technician.

RECIPES
Fizzy Strawberry Smoothie
Ingredients:
• 1 cup ice (5-6) cubes
• 1 ½ cup calorie-free carbonated strawberry avored water
• 3 cups fresh strawberry halves
• 1 carton (6 ounces) fruit on the bottom stawberry yogurt
Directions:
1. Place cubes in small processor bowl. Pulse until nely chopped and set aside.
2. Place water and strawberries in pitcher and blend well.
3. Add yogurt; blend until smooth.
4. Add crushed ice and blend.
Icy Caramel-Cappuccino
Ingredients:
• 2 cups ice (10-12) cubes
• 4 tablespoons vanilla syrup
• ½ cup caramel syrup
• 1 cup cold, strong coffee
• 2 cups vanilla ice cream
• 1 cup chocolate milk
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to pitcher. Use long pulses and blend until frothy and smooth.
Frozen Mocha
Ingredients:
• 2 cups ice (10-12) cubes
• 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1 packet natural sweetener
• 1 cup cold, strong coffee
• 2 cups vanilla ice cream
• 1 cup milk
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to pitcher. Use long pulses and blend until frothy and smooth.

Summer Margarita
Ingredients:
• 2 cups frozen mango chunks
• 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries
• 1 ½ cups ice (about 8 cubes)
• ½ cup tequila
• ⅓ cup orange liqueur
• ⅓ cup lime juice
• 2 tablespoons sugar
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients, except ice, to pitcher. Use long pulses until ingredients are
evvenly blended.
2. Add ice cubes a few at a time and continue pulsing until all ice is added and mixture
becomes slushy.
Frozen Mojito
Ingredients:
• 2 limes juiced
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• ½ cup of fresh mint leaves
• 1 cup club soda, chilled
• ½ cup white rum (4 oz)
• 2 cups ice (10-12 cubes)
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to pitcher. Use long pulses until ingredients are well mixed.
2. Serve in glasses and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
Hummus
Ingredients:
• 1 cup canned chickpeas, drained
• ¼ cup tahini
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 small garlic clove
• 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
• 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons water
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in small processor bowl. Process until smooth. Add more
water if needed to reach desired consistency.
2. Makes about 1 ⅓ cups.
Note: Serve hummus as a dip or spread with vegetables, crackers or pita bread.

Creamy Dill Dressing
Ingredients:
• ⅓ cup fesh dill
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
• ⅓ cup sour cream or yogurt
• ¼ cup seasoned rice vinegar
• ⅓ cup olive oil
• salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Place dill in small bowl and chop nely. Add remaining ingredients and blend until
emulsied. Makes 1 cup dressing.
Pesto
Ingredients:
• 1 cup packed basil leaves
• 2 cloves garlic
• ½ cup fresh at leaf parsley, stems removed
• 2 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted
• ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
• dash red pepper akes
• salt and pepper to taste
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Place basil, garlic, parsley, pine nuts, red pepper akes and 2 tablespoons of the
olive oil in the small bowl. Pulse to chop.
2. Add remaining oil. Pulse until well blended.
3. Season with salt and pepper. Add Parmesan cheese and pulse until combined.
4. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
5. Makes about 1 ¼ cups.
Tip: To serve, toss pesto with 1 pound of hot, cooked pasta. Pesto is also excellent to rub on
chicken before grilling or blend a little pesto into cream cheese to make a avorful spread.
Salsa
Ingredients:
• 2 cans of Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes (14.5 oz size cans)
• ½ clove garlic (or substitute ½ tsp of minced garlic)
• 1 lime, juiced
• ½ cup fresh cilantro (stems removed)
• ⅛ teaspoon salt
• dash of pepper
Directions:
1. Place tomatoes, garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper in pitcher. Blend for 5 to 10
seconds.
2. Add cilantro and pulse for 5 to 10 more seconds or until chopped and evenly
distributed throughout mixture. Do not over process.
Note: To infuse the avor throughout the salsa, refrigerate for an hour before serving.

Mango-Tomato Salsa
Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups peeled mango
• 1 ½ cups roma tomatoes (3 medium)
• ½ cup red or green bell pepper (seeds removed)
• ¼ cup green onion
• ¼ cup fresh cilantro or parsley (seeds removed)
• 1 lime, juiced
• ½ teaspoon sugar
• 1 fresh jalapeno or serrano pepper (seeded)
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to pitcher. Use short pulses to chop ingredients until desired
consistency is reached. Do not over process.
2. Cover and chill 2 hours before serving.
Gazpacho
Ingredients:
• ½ red bell pepper (seeds removed)
• 3 cups roma tomatoes (6 medium)
• 1 medium cucumbers, peeled (seeds removed if desired)
• ¼ red onion
• 3 carrots
• 1 lemon, juiced
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 1 ½ tablespoons oilve oil
• ½ cup tomato juice
• salt, pepper, garlic and red pepper akes to taste
Directions:
1. Cut all vegetables into smaller sizes for optimal processing. Add all ingredients to
pitcher. Use long pulses until mixture is smooth and consistent.
2. Cover and chill at least 3 hours before serving.
3. Serve in bowls. Garnish with avocado chunks, fresh cilantro and diced onion.
Chunky Guacamole
Ingredients:
• 4 ripe avocados
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 lime, juiced
• ½ medium tomato
• ½ cup red onion
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• 1 serrano pepper (seeded)
Directions:
1. Remove pits from avocados and scoop out chunks into the pitcher. Add remaining
ingredients. Chop by using short pulses until desired consistency is reached.
2. Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Add salt as needed.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
SELECT BRANDS, INC. warrants, subject to the conditions stated below, that from the date of
purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects for a period of one (1) year. SELECT
BRANDS, INC., at its option, will repair or replace this product found to be defective during the
warranty period. Should this product become defective by reason of improper workmanship or
material defect during the specied warranty period, Select Brands, Inc. will repair or replace the
same effecting all necessary parts replacements for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or replacement, under
this warranty, must be borne by the purchaser.
CONDITIONS: This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail
purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to
obtain warranty service or replacement. Dealers, service centers, or retail stores do not have the
right to alter, modify or in any way, change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty on Select Brands, Inc. products. Save
your proof of purchase receipt.
ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY: Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but
sometimes requests for warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty service
would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance,
shipping, handling, warehousing or improper installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the
manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or the equipment has
been altered or modied. During the warranty period, the authorized service dealer, at its option,
will repair or replace any part that, upon examination, is found to be defective under normal use
and service.
NORMAL WEAR: This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any
of the following: Negligent use or misuse of the product; Improper voltage or current; Use contrary
to the operation instructions; Deviation from instructions regarding storage and transportation;
Repair or alteration by anyone other than SELECT BRANDS, INC. or an authorized service center.
Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as re, ood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
SELECT BRANDS, INC. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by
the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law,
any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the
duration of the above warranty. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion
or limitation of incidental o consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty
lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic
legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province.

Service at 1-913-663-4500. A Customer Service representative will attempt to resolve warranty
issues over the phone. If telephone resolution is not possible, the Customer Service representative
will require your assistance in performing routine diagnostic procedures. This warranty is effective
for the time periods listed above and subject to the conditions provided for in this policy.
