INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLER
Congratulations! You have just purchased a new Airow™ digital convection oven, manufactured for Klarity by
UNOX S.p.A. Please review these instructions before using your new oven. Everyone who operates the oven should
read the manual before doing so. Keep the manual in a safe place.
Data Plate
e data plate is located on the side of the oven. It provides technical information that will be important in the
event of any maintenance or repairs. Do not remove, modify, or damage the plate.

Installation: Preliminary Operations
All installation operations must be performed by qualied personnel and comply with all existing codes. Installation
or maintenance that fails to follow the instructions in this manual may cause damage or personal injury and may
void the warranty, releasing Klarity Medical Products of all liability.
ASSESS THE INSTALLATION SITE
Before installing the oven, verify the overall measurements and the exact position of the electrical connections
in the planned installation site.
INSERT THE FEET
e feet are packed inside the oven’s interior chamber. Remove the feet and insert them into the bottom of the
oven, as shown in the image below. e feet must be in place when the oven is in operation.
POSITIONING
Situate the oven so the back and sides can be easily reached. is will make the electrical connections and
any servicing points easily accessible. e oven is not designed for built-in applications or for side-by-side
positioning. e oven must be placed upon a support, stand, or counter made of non-combustible material.
Never install the oven directly on the oor. If the oven is placed near walls, dividers, cabinets, decorated edges,
or drapes, then they must be made of non-combustible materials.
REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE FILM
Carefully remove all of the protective lm from the external walls of the oven. Remove any residual glue left on
the outside of the oven with an appropriate solvent.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Connection to the electrical power source must be done according to all state and local codes. Before
connecting the oven, make sure that the voltage and the amps comply with those stated on the oven’s data
plate. Avoid using patch cords and multiple jacks.
e appliance must be situated so that the connection between the plug and the outlet can be easily reached.
When the appliance is in operation, the power supply voltage must not diverge from the value of the nominal
voltage written on the data plate by more than ±10%.
e oven is equipped with a cord set and a NEMA plug (single phase, 120V or 208–240V, depending on the
oven model). Insert the plug into the proper outlet.
COMBUSTION RISK
Prior to use, verify that there are no noncompliant objects (e.g., paper, plastic bags, etc.) present within the
oven cavity, and ensure that the vent on the back is unobstructed. Failure to do so increases the risk of re.
RESTRICTIONS FOR USE
• is unit has been constructed for indoor use only. Only use the oven in a clean, dry environment.
• Nothing should come in contact with the oven’s outside surface when in use. Although properly
insulated, the surface could become moderately hot during use.
• Do not place objects on top of the oven at any time.
• Keep this user manual near the unit for easy reference when needed.
• Do not situate the back side of the oven directly against a wall, as the back side becomes hot during use.
• Be sure there is adequate space to open the oven door completely.
• Do not use a steam cleaner to clean this appliance. Pressurized steam can damage electrical components
and cause a short circuit.
• Do not use plastic containers or plastic wraps in the oven, unless the material has been tested and
approved for this purpose. Some plastics may melt and cause damage to the oven.
• Do not use sharp objects to remove dirt or debris from the oven racks. ese racks have a nonstick
coating that can be damaged by sharp objects or abrasive cleaning.
• All four corners of the oven must be supported when placed on a countertop; use the feet provided.

OVEN OPERATION
Turning the Oven On

1. After plugging the oven in, the oven will power on. e internal fan and light will activate and the front display
will turn on.
2. Press the START/STOP button to start heating the oven. e blue temperature light will turn on, and the current
temperature will ash on the digital display. e oven’s internal temperature will automatically rise to 165ºF, which
is the recommended temperature setting for Klarity masks and AccuCushions™. Once the oven reaches 165ºF, the
blue temperature light will shut o and the temperature reading on the screen will stop ashing.
e oven will stay at 165˚F until it is manually turned o. e blue light will turn back on when the heating
element activates to maintain a steady temperature.
3. Use the – and + buttons to adjust to a dierent desired temperature, between 0 and 212ºF. For other brands of
masks, refer to their instruction sheets.
4. e small circle, triangle, X, and square buttons are for repair technician use only.
Note: It will take 5–6 minutes for the oven to reach the set temperature. Follow the instruction sheets included with
Klarity masks and AccuCushions™ for heating times and usage information. e normal heating time for masks is
3–5 minutes, and the normal heating time for AccuCushions™ is 10–12 minutes.
Turning the Oven Off
1. Press the START/STOP button and hold for 3–4 seconds, until the oven beeps. is will turn the heating
mechanism o.
2. e oven will be in “cool down” mode for 20 minutes. e fan will continue to run as the oven cools. After
20 minutes, the oven will beep and the display will turn o. e oven is now o and will remain so until the
START/STOP button is pressed.
CLEANING THE OVEN
WARNING: Before starting any maintenance or cleaning operation, it is
necessary to disconnect the electrical power supply and wait for your oven to
cool down.
CAUTION: Do not clean the display with water. Use only a soft, dry cloth.
Do not use a steam cleaner to clean this appliance. Pressurized steam can
penetrate electrical components and cause a short circuit.
Cleaning the Interior Chamber
• Regularly clean the interior chamber using water and a mild detergent.
• Never wash the cooking chamber with acids, abrasives, or aggressive detergents.
• Never use powder detergents or any product containing chlorine.
• Never use sharp scrapers or abrasive sponges.
• Make sure to wipe up any and all spills as they occur.
Cleaning the Oven Exterior
• Clean the appliance with a solution of warm water and liquid soap, applied
with a soft sponge. Dry with a soft cloth.
• Wipe up spills as they occur with a damp cloth. Warm water and a
mild detergent can also be used. Rinse and dry completely.
• Never spray water to clean the outside of the oven. is may damage the
electrical components and void the oven’s warranty.

Cleaning the Oven Door Inner Glass Panel
e glass panel on the inside of the door must be removed to be cleaned. Tabs on the left and right sides of the door
keep the glass in place (Fig. 2). Use the following instructions to remove the inner glass panel.

1. Open the oven door completely. Use ngers to pull the left and right tabs forward until they are fully extended
and the corner of the inner glass panel is visible (Fig. 3).

2. Using ngers to hold the tabs open, position thumbs under the glass panel and push the panel up until it is
clear or the tabs. Release the tabs while supporting the glass panel with thumbs (Fig. 4).

3. Grasp both sides of the glass panel rmly and pull it toward you until it clears the metal slots at the bottom of
the door (Fig. 5). Be careful to support the glass when pulling it toward you to prevent the back edge of the
panel from dropping onto the outer glass panel below it. Lift the glass and place it on the countertop gently.

4. Clean the glass panel using a soft cloth moderately dampened with soap and water or a glass cleaner. Rinse the
glass and dry it completely.
5. Position the clean panel over the open oven door so that the oval logo on the glass is facing down in the back
left corner (Fig. 6). Slide the back edge of the glass panel into the metal slots at the bottom of the door.

6. Lower the glass until it is resting on the tabs at the top of the door.
7. Pull the tabs forward until the glass drops into place in the door. Finally, release the tabs to secure the glass
panel in place (Fig. 7).

MAINTENANCE
Replacing the Door Lamp
1. Unplug the oven and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Open the door completely.
3. Remove the inner glass panel by pulling the glass-holder tabs (Fig. 8) and lifting the glass carefully up and back
towards you (Fig. 9).
4. Place the glass panel on the countertop gently.
5. Unplug the yellow door light connector by pulling the two sides apart gently (Figs. 10–11).
6. With a Phillips-head screwdriver, unscrew and remove both light cover brackets (Figs. 12–14).

7. Slide the LED light assembly out of the light cover (Figs. 15–16).
8. Carefully unsnap the LED light assembly from the wire clip and replace it with the new LED light assembly
(Figs. 17–19).
9. Replace the top cover bracket, but do not fully tighten the screws yet (Figure 20).
10. Slide the LED light assembly fully into the light cover (Figs. 21–22).

11. Slide the light cover into the top bracket, ensuring that the white side of the cover is facing up (Fig. 23).
12. With the wire notch facing down, replace the bottom bracket (Fig. 24).
13. Attach the bottom cover bracket, ensuring that the wire is positioned in the wire notch (Fig. 25).
14. Fully tighten the screws on the top cover bracket (Fig. 26).

15. Plug the halves of the cord connector back together (Fig. 27). ey will only t one way.
16. Replace the inner glass panel by positioning it over the open oven door so that the oval logo on the glass is
facing down in the back left corner. Slide the back edge of the glass into the metal slots at the bottom of the
door (Fig. 28).
17. Lower the glass until it is resting on the tabs at the top of the door (Fig. 29).
18. Pull the tabs back until the glass drops into place in the door. Finally, release the tabs to secure the glass in place,
and close the oven door.

Removing and Reattaching the Oven Door
1. Unplug the oven and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Open the door completely as in (Figure 30).
3. Remove the inner glass panel by pulling both glass-holder tabs back (Fig. 30) and lifting the glass carefully up
and back towards you (Fig. 31).
4. Place the glass panel on the countertop gently.
5. Unplug the yellow door light connector by pulling the two sides apart gently. (Figs. 32–33).
6. Replace the inner glass panel by positioning it over the open oven door so that the oval logo on the glass is
facing down in the back left corner (Fig. 34). Slide the back edge of the glass panel into the metal slots at the
bottom of the door (Fig. 34).

7. Lower the glass until it is resting on the tabs at the top of the door (Fig. 35).
8. Pull the tabs back until the glass drops into place in the door. en, release the tabs to secure the glass in place.
9. Using a screwdriver or other object, swing the door safety locks down on both sides (Figs. 36–38).
10. With the door completely open and the door safety locks in the down position, begin to close the door until the
door safety lock stops the closing action (Fig. 39).

11. Hold the door as shown in Figure 40.
12. Slightly lift and swing the door out of the unit (Figs. 41–42).
To reattach the door, reverse the above procedure.
Note: To reinstall the door properly, the notch on the bottom of the hinge (Fig. 43) must be positioned in the inner
frame of the door hinge (Fig. 44).

Replacing the Fuse
1. Press on the cover of the fuse holder and rotate it about 20° counterclockwise.
2. Remove the cover of the fuse holder.
3. Remove the fuse from the cover.
4. Replace the fuse with an identical one.
5. Reposition the cover of the fuse holder.
6. Press the cover and rotate it about 20° clockwise.
Resetting the Safety Thermostat
1. is oven is equipped with a manually resettable safety thermostat designed to protect the oven from
overheating. If triggered, the thermostat completely deactivates the oven to avoid permanent damage.
2. To reset the safety thermostat, screw the cap counterclockwise. Remove the cap to reveal the reset button. Press
the reset button, then replace the cap and screw it clockwise.
3. If the safety thermostat shuts the oven o, then before turning the oven back on, be sure to verify that the
total amps being drawn by all the appliances, lights, etc. on the same circuit do not exceed the amps available
on that circuit.

Repair
Should a defective unit need repair, the unit must be cleaned and shipped to the US distributor, Klarity Medical
Products, LLC, at the shipping address below.
A detailed description of the type of problem or defect must be included. Ovens may also display an error code on
the LED readout. Please note the code when inquiring about repairs.
All units to be returned must receive a Returns Authorization Number from Klarity before being shipped.

Do not try to perform any repair(s) on the unit during the warranty period.
CAUTION:
Only a qualied technician should perform repairs. Repairs and service by
unqualied persons may cause injury or damage the appliance and may void
the warranty.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
1. Oven will not power on 1. Check to make sure unit is properly plugged into the wall
outlet.
2. Check the wall outlet for a breaker-reset switch.
3. With the unit unplugged, press rmly on the thermostat
reset switch (see p. 20 of this manual.).
4. With the unit unplugged, check the fuse holders. Make
sure they are locked in place. If the problem is not resolved,
then remove the fuses and use a multimeter to check for
continuity. Replace the fuses if necessary (see p. 20).
2. Oven will not heat up to the set temperature. 1. With the unit unplugged, check that the fuse holders are
tight and locked in place (see p. 20).
3. A02 error code 1. With the unit unplugged, press rmly on the thermostat reset
switch (see p. 20).
2. With the unit unplugged, check the fuse holders. Make sure
they are locked in place. If the problem is not resolved,
then remove the fuses and use a multimeter to check for
continuity. Replace the fuses if necessary (see p. 20).
4. Loud rattling/scraping sound. 1. Using a wrench or ratchet, tighten the four fan shield bolts
(see picture below).
2. Tighten the thumbscrews on the oven’s rack holders
(see picture below).

2-YEAR KLARITY AIRFLOW™ CONVECTION OVEN LIMITED WARRANTY
Klarity Medical Products, LLC (“Klarity”) expressly warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) of a Klarity
AirFlow™ Convection Oven (“Oven”) from Klarity or its authorized distributors that EACH OVEN WILL BE
FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP UNDER NORMAL USE AND SERVICE
BY PURCHASER FOR A PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE set forth on
Klarity’s or its authorized distributor’s applicable invoice (the “Purchase Date”).
TO INITIATE A WARRANTY CLAIM, PURCHASER MUST CALL: (877) 599-8905. Any claim of
nonconformity or defect made under this limited warranty must be presented to Klarity promptly in writing setting
forth in detail the nature of the nonconformity or defect to Klarity. Each warranty claim must be preauthorized by
Klarity, and must include a Klarity Returns Authorization Number, issued by Klarity.
Klarity shall have a commercially reasonable period of time after notice and recognition of a claim of nonconformity
or defect to remedy the nonconformity or defect by repair or replacement in accordance with the terms of this
limited warranty. Klarity’s obligations are exclusively limited to replacement parts or replacement Ovens, at Klarity’s
option. ese remedies are Purchaser’s exclusive remedies for breach of warranty.
LIMITED WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS:
Misuse Limitation. e limited warranty does not apply in the event of misuse, abuse, improper service, or damage arising
from unauthorized repairs. Unless expressly authorized by Klarity in writing, no repairs may be performed on the Oven.
Wear-and-Tear Item Limitation. e limited warranty does not extend to normal wear-and-tear items such as light bulbs,
fuses, gaskets, glass, and other perishable items (each a “Wear-and-Tear Item”). Wear-and-Tear Items may be replaced
by Purchaser and do not qualify for service assistance. Purchaser may contact Klarity at (877) 599-8905 to purchase
replacement Wear-and-Tear Items. In the event a Wear-and-Tear Item fails under normal use within the rst one hundred
and twenty (120) days of the Purchase Date, Klarity may, at its discretion, provide a replacement Wear-and-Tear Item at
no additional charge to Purchaser.
Oven Motor Limitation. Notwithstanding anything contrary to that set forth above, the duration of the limited warranty
is limited to a period of one (1) year from the Purchase Date, in the event a nonconformity or defect arises from or relates
to the Oven motor.
Nontransferable. e limited warranty is provided exclusively to the Purchaser and may not be assigned or transferred.
Shipping. During the rst six (6) months following the Purchase Date, Klarity may, at its discretion, pay for
shipping costs for replacement parts and replacement Ovens. For the remainder of the applicable limited warranty
period, Klarity would not pay for any shipping or other transportation costs. All shipping methods shall be selected
by Klarity at its discretion.
NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED HEREIN OR IN ANY OTHER
DOCUMENT OR AGREEMENT BETWEEN KLARITY AND PURCHASER, THE WARRANTIES AND LIMITS
OF LIABILITY DESCRIBED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND
LIABILITIES; THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL KLARITY’S LIABILITY TO PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY ARISING
OUT OF OR RELATED IN WHOLE OR IN PART TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE OVEN (A) EXTEND
TO OR INCLUDE ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER
DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR CHARACTER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF REVENUE OR
PROFIT, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; OR (B) EXCEED IN THE AGGREGATE
THE TOTAL OF THE AMOUNTS RECEIVED BY KLARITY FOR THE APPLICABLE OVEN IN THE TWO-YEAR
PERIOD IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
