SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
VORSICHT
Verbrennungsgefahr! Bestimmte Ober ächen werden während der
Benutzung sehr heiß. Fassen Sie nur die Griffe und Tasten an und lassen
Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung abkühlen, damit Sie sich nicht

BEDIENUNG
Wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an Steckdosen an, die der angegebenen Spannung
entsprechen.
• Ziehen Sie den Stecker, wenn der Reisbehälter nicht im Kocher ist oder der Kocher
nicht benutzt wird. Denken Sie daran, dass sich der Kocher solange er eingesteckt
ist, immer im Warmhaltemodus bendet.
• Wischen Sie den Reisbehälter von innen aus und setzen Sie ihn in den Kocher,
bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten, Schieben Sie den Behälter vorsichtig nach rechts
und links bis er richtig sitzt.
• Falls sich der Schalter nicht auf die Kochposition stellen lässt, versuchen Sie es
nicht mit Gewalt. In der Regel liegt es daran, dass der Reisbehälter nicht richtig im
Kocher sitzt oder der Kochprozess fast beendet ist.
• Setzen Sie während des Kochens den Deckel auf den Reisbehälter und lassen Sie
ihn auch nach dem Servieren auf dem Behälter. Er sorgt dafür, dass der Reis nicht
austrocknet.

So benutzen Sie den Reiskocher
1. Benutzen Sie den mitgelieferten Messbecher um Reis und Wasser abzumessen und
in den Reisbehälter zu geben Das richtige Verhältnis von Wasser und Reis können
Sie der folgenden Tabelle entnehmen:

2. Setzen Sie den Reisbehälter in den Kocher ein. Geben Sie Reis und Wasser in den
Behälter. Schließen Sie den Deckel. Bewegen Sie den Behälter leicht nach rechts
und links, bis er fest sitzt.
3. Stecken Sie den Stecker erst in die Steckdose wenn sie bereit zu Kochen sind,
andernfalls könnte der reis verderben. Falls sich der Reisbehälter nicht im Kocher
bendet startet das Gerät nicht.
4. Stellen Sie den Schalter auf Position „I“ (Ein), um das Gerät einzuschalten. Drücken
Sie auf die COOK-Taste an der Vorderseite des Geräts. Sobald der Kochprozess
startet, leuchtet die Kontrollleuchte.
5. Sobald der Reis gar ist beendet das Gerät automatisch den Kochvorgang und
wechselt in die Warmhaltefunktion. Lassen Sie den Reis noch 15 Minuten lang im
Dampf garen. Solange das Gerät eingesteckt ist und der Schalter auf „I“ steht, ist
die Warmhaltefunktion aktiv.
6. Stellen Sie den Schalter auf Position „O“, um das Gerät auszuschalten. Und ziehen
Sie anschließend den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Ziehen Sie den Stecker nicht am
Kabel aus der Steckdose, sondern halten Sie ihn immer mit der Hand fest.

Hinweise zur Verwendung eines Verlängerungskabels
Das Gerät ist mit einem kurzen Netzkabel ausgestattet, was verhindern soll,
dass sich jemand im Kabel verfängt oder darauf tritt. Falls nötig können Sie ein
Verlängerungskabel verwenden. Falls Sie ein Verlängerungskabel verwenden, beachten
Sie folgende Hinweise:
• Die elektrische Leistung des Verlängerungskabels sollte mindestes so hoch sein, wie
die des Geräts.
• Verlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass es nicht über die Arbeitsäche hängt, damit Kinder
nicht daran ziehen können und keiner daran hängen bleibt.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
• Entfernen Sie den Reisbehälter und waschen Sie ihn mit warmem Seifenwasser
ab. Spülen Sie ihn danach mit klarem Wasser aus und trocknen Sie ihn mit einem
weichen Tuch ab.
• Reinigen Sie die Außenseite des Kochers mit einem feuchten Lappen. Benutzen Sie
keine Scheuermittel, sondern lediglich einen feuchten Lappen oder Schwamm und
etwas Spülmittel. Tauchen Sie den Kocher niemals komplett in Wasser.
• Reinigen Sie die Heiz- und Temperaturkontrollplatte mit Stahlwolle, um Essensreste
zu entfernen. Wischen Sie dann mit einem feuchten Lappen nach und lassen Sie sie
trocknen, bevor Sie sie wieder in Betrieb nehmen. Halten Sie Fremdkörper von der
Platte fern, andernfalls funktioniert der Kocher nicht richtig.
• Falsche Reinigung des Kochers kann zu unangenehmen Gerüchen führen.
• Salz- oder Essigreste können dazu führen, dass der Behälter rostet.

CAUTION

the handles and buttons and allow the unit to cool before cleaning so
that you do not burn yourself.

water or any other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when out in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts.

OPERATION
Important Hints on Use
• Only connect the device to sockets that correspond to the specied voltage.
• Disconnect the plug when the rice container is not in the cooker or when the cooker
is not in use. Remember that the cooker is always in warm mode while it is plugged
in.
• Wipe the inside of the rice container and place it in the cooker before switching on
the appliance, carefully slide the container to the right and left until it is properly
seated.
• If the switch cannot be set to the cooking position, do not force it. Usually this is
because the rice container is not properly seated in the cooker or the cooking
process is almost complete.
• While cooking, place the lid on the rice container and leave it on the container after
serving. It ensures that the rice does not dry out.

How to use the rice cooker
1. Use the measuring cup supplied to measure rice and water and place it in the rice
container The correct ratio of water to rice can be found in the following table:

2. Insert the rice container into the cooker. Add rice and water to the container. Close
the lid. Move the container slightly to the right and left until it is rmly seated.
3. Do not insert the plug into the socket until you are ready to cook, otherwise the rice
may spoil. If the rice container is not in the cooker, the appliance will not start.
4. Set the switch to position „I“ (on) to turn on the appliance. Press the cook button on
the front of the unit. As soon as the cooking process starts, the control lamp lights up.
5. As soon as the rice is cooked, the appliance automatically stops cooking and
switches to the keep warm function. Allow the rice to steam for another 15 minutes.
As long as the appliance is plugged in and the switch is set to „I“, the keep warm
function is active.
6. Set the switch to position „O“ to switch the appliance off. Then remove the plug
from the socket. Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable, but always hold
it by hand.

Instructions for using an extension cord
The unit is equipped with a short power cord to prevent anyone from getting caught or
stepping on the cable. If necessary, you can use an extension cord. If you are using an
extension cord, follow these instructions:
• The electrical power of the extension cord should be at least as high as that of the
device.
• Lay the cable so that it does not hang over the work surface so that children cannot
pull on it and no one gets caught.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Remove the rice container and wash it with warm soapy water. Rinse with clear
water and dry with a soft cloth.
• Clean the outside of the stove with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, just
a damp cloth or sponge and a little detergent. Never immerse the stove completely
in water.
• Clean the heating and temperature control plate with steel wool to remove food
remains. Then wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry before putting it back into
operation. Keep foreign objects away from the plate, otherwise the stove will not
work properly.
• Incorrect cleaning of the stove can lead to unpleasant odours.
• Salt or vinegar residues can cause the container to rust.

MANEJO
Indicaciones importantes para el manejo
• Conecte el aparato solamente a tomas de corriente que se adecuen a la tensión
del mismo.
• Desenchufe el aparato si el recipiente para el arroz no está encajado en la base o
si no lo está utilizando.
• Limpie el recipiente para el arroz y chóquelo en la base antes de encender el
aparato; para ello, mueva el recipiente poco a poco de un lado a otro hasta que
encaje perfectamente.
• Si el interruptor no puede colocarse en la posición de cocción, no intente forzarlo.
Normalmente esto se debe a que el recipiente no está bien colocado o a que el
proceso de cocción está a punto de terminar.
• Durante la cocción, coloque la tapa en el recipiente y vuelva a colocarla tras
haber servido el arroz. Así, el arroz restante no se secará.

Cómo utilizar la arrocera
1. Utilice el medidor incluido en el envío para medir las cantidades de agua y arroz
e introducirlas en la arrocera. En la siguiente tabla podrá ver las proporciones
correctas de agua y arroz:

2. Coloque el recipiente en la base. Añada el agua y el arroz y ponga la tapa.
Mueva un poco el recipiente hacia los lados hasta que encaje perfectamente.
3. Enchufe el aparato cuando se disponga a cocinar, de lo contrario el arroz podría
echarse a perder. Si el recipiente no se encuentra colocado correctamente sobre la
base, el aparato no se encenderá.
4. Coloque el interruptor en la posición “I” (encendido) para encender la arrocera.
Pulse el botón COOK en la parte frontal del aparato. Cuando se inicie el proceso
de cocción, el piloto se iluminará.
5. Cuando el arroz esté listo, la arrocera desactiva automáticamente el proceso
de cocción y pasa al modo de mantenimiento de calor. Deje reposar el arroz
15 minutos al vapor. Mientras la arrocera esté enchufada y el interruptor en la
posición “I”, la función de mantenimiento de calor estará activada.
6. Coloque el interruptor en la posición “O” para apagar el aparato y desenchúfelo
a continuación. Para desenchufarlo, no tire del cable de alimentación, sino del
cuerpo del enchufe.

Indicaciones para el uso de un cable alargador
La arrocera está equipada con un cable corto para evitar que alguien pueda enredarse
o tropezar con él. Si lo necesita, puede utilizar un alargador teniendo siempre en
cuenta las siguientes indicaciones:
• La potencia eléctrica del alargador ha de ser igual o mayor que la de la arrocera.
• Coloque el cable de tal manera que no quede colgando de la supercie en donde
está colocada la arrocera para que los niños no puedan tirar de él.
LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO
• Retire el recipiente y lávelo con agua tibia con jabón. Aclárelo a continuación con
agua limpia y séquelo con un paño suave.
• Limpie el exterior de la base con un paño húmedo. No utilice productos abrasivos,
solamente un paño o una esponja húmedos y un poco de detergente lavavajillas.
Nunca sumerja la base completamente en agua.
• Limpie la placa calefactora y el sensor de temperatura con un estropajo de acero
para retirar todos los restos de comida. A continuación pase un paño húmedo y
deje que se seque antes de utilizarlo de nuevo. Mantenga todo tipo de objetos
alejados de la placa para evitar fallos en su funcionamiento.
• Una limpieza deciente de la base puede provocar malos olores.
• Los restos de sal y vinagre pueden provocar que el recipiente se oxide.

RETIRADA DEL APARATO
Si el aparato lleva adherida la ilustración de la izquierda (el
contenedor de basura tachado) entonces rige la normativa
europea, directiva 2012/19/UE. Este producto no debe
arrojarse a un contenedor de basura común. Infórmese sobre
las leyes territoriales que regulan la recogida separada
de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos. Respete las leyes
territoriales y no arroje aparatos viejos al cubo de la basura
doméstica. Una retirada de aparatos conforme a las leyes,
contribuye a proteger el medio ambiente y a las personas a
su alrededor frente a posibles consecuencias perjudiciales
para la salud. El reciclaje ayuda a reducir el consumo de
materias primas.
