SpecificationS
To the eye, the WS-24 surround speaker
reflects a classic approach, featuring a
furniture-grade wood veneer cabinet
available in an espresso or a cabernet finish.
But to the ear, there is nothing traditional
about it.
The WS-24 surround speaker employs
two premium titanium diaphragm
compression drivers and two high-output
fiberglass cone woofers. But what really
makes this unobtrusive speaker superior is
an all-new patent-pending Tractrix®Horn-
loaded tweeter with XT technology. For
over 60 years, horns have been the driving
force behind our stunningly precise sound;
this latest design moves us farther ahead by
allowing the WS-24 to deliver an extremely
smooth response with constant directivity.
Furthermore, our exclusive Wide Dispersion
Surround Technology, or WDST, allows the
WS-24 to create a smooth, high dispersion
pattern, providing crystal-clear sonic detail
even in listening areas with less than ideal
configurations. So, no matter where you sit,
this speaker promises to draw you into the
middle of the action.
Overall, the entire Icon W Series brings
our sound mantra—power, detail and
emotion—to a new generation of audio
enthusiasts who demand aesthetically
pleasing products that deliver
outstanding sonic performance.
