• ELECTRICAL SAFETY
> Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do
not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools.Unmodied
plugs and matching outlets will reduce
risk of electric shock.
> Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock
if your body is earthed or grounded.
> Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions.Water entering a power tool
will increase the risk of electric shock.
> Do not abuse the cord. Never use the
cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase
the risk of electric shock.
> When operating a power tool outdoors,
use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor
use reduces the risk of electric shock.
> If operating a power tool in a damp
location is unavoidable, use an earth
leakage circuit breaker. Use of an earth
leakage circuit breaker reduces the risk
of electric shock.
• PERSONAL SAFETY
> Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a
power tool. Do not use a power tool while
you are tired or under the inuence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment
of inattention while operating power
tools may result in serious personal injury.
> Use personal protective equipment.
Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid
safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
> Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure
the switch is in the off-position before
connecting to power source and/or
battery pack, picking up or carrying the
tool. Carrying power tools with your
nger on the switch or energising
power tools that have the switch on
invites accidents.
> Remove any adjusting key or wrench
before turning the power tool on. A
wrench or a key left attached to a
rotating part of the power tool may
result in personal injury.
> Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the power tool in
unexpected situations.
> Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away from moving
parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long
hair can be caught in moving parts.
> If devices are provided for the
connection of dust extraction and
collection facilities, ensure these are
connected and properly used. Use of
dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
• POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
> Do not force the power tool. Use the
correct power tool for your application.
The correct power tool will do the job
better and safer at the rate for which
it was designed.
> Do not use the power tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
> Disconnect the plug from the power
source and/or the battery pack from
the power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or
storing power tools. Such preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
> Store idle power tools out of the reach
of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these
instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands
of untrained users.
> Maintain power tools. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts and any other
condition that may affect the power
tool’s operation. If damaged, have the
power tool repaired before use. Many
accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
> Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely to
bind and are easier to control.
> Use the power tool, accessories and
tool bits etc., in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for
operations different from those
intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
• SERVICE
> Have your power tool serviced by a
qualied repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool
is maintained.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL
OPERATIONS
a) This power tool is intended to function
as a polisher. Read all safety warnings,
instructions,illustrations and
specications provided with this power
tool. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric
shock, re and/or serious injury.
b) This power tool is not recommended for
grinding,sanding, wire brushing or
cutting off operations.Operations for
which the power tool was not designed
may create a hazard and cause
personal injury.
c) Do not allow any loose portion of the
polishing bonnet or its attachment
strings to spin freely. Tuck away or trim
any loose attachment strings. Loose
and spinning attachment strings can
entangle your ngers or snag on the
workpiece.
d) Do not use accessories which are not
specically designed and recommended
by the tool manufacturer. Just because
the accessory can be attached to your
power tool, it does not assure safe
operation.
e) The rated speed of the accessory must
be at least equal to the maximum speed
marked on the power tool. Accessories
running faster than their rated speed
can y apart.
f) The outside diameter and the thickness
of your accessory must be within the
capacity rating of your power tool.
Incorrectly sized accessories cannot be
adequately guarded or controlled.
g) The arbour size of wheels, anges,
backing pads or any other accessory
must properly t the spindle of the
power tool. Accessories with arbour
holes that do not match the mounting
hardware of the power tool will run out
of balance, vibrate excessively and may
cause loss of control.
h) Do not use a damaged accessory.
Before each use inspect the accessory
such as abrasive wheels for chips and
cracks, backing pads for cracks, tear or
excess wear, wire brushes for loose or
cracked wires. If the power tool or
accessory is dropped, inspect for
damage or install an undamaged
accessory. After inspecting and
installing an accessory, position
yourself and bystanders away from the
plane of the rotating accessory and run
the power tool at maximum no load
speed for one minute.
Damaged accessories will normally
break apart during this test time.
i ) Wear personal protective equipment
4. Depending on application, use face
shield, safety goggles or safety glasses.
As appropriate, wear dust mask,
hearing protectors, gloves and shop
apron capable of stopping small
abrasive or workpiece fragments. The
eye protection must be capable of
stopping ying debris generated by
various operations. The dust mask or
respirator must be capable of ltrating
particles generated by your operation.
Prolonged exposure to high intensity
noise may cause hearing loss.
j ) Keep bystanders a safe distance away
from work area. Anyone entering the
work area must wear personal
protective equipment. Fragments of the
workpiece or of a broken accessory
may y away and cause injury beyond
the immediate area of operation.
k) Position the cord clear of the spinning
accessory. If you lose control, the cord
may be cut or snagged and your hand
or arm may be pulled into the spinning
accessory.
l ) Never lay the power tool down until the
accessory has come to a complete stop.
The spinning accessory may grab the
surface and pull the power tool out of
your control.
m) Do not run the power tool while
carrying it at your side. Accidental
contact with the spinning accessory
could snag your clothing, pulling the
accessory into your body.
n) Regularly clean the power tool’s air
vents. The motor’s fan will draw the
dust inside the housing and excessive
accumulation of powdered metal may
cause electrical hazards.
o) Do not operate the power tool near
ammable materials. Sparks could
ignite these materials.
p) Do not use accessories that require
liquid coolants. Using water or other
liquid coolants may result in
electrocution or shock.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR POLISHERS
KICKBACK AND RELATED WARNINGS
• Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched
or snagged rotating wheel, backing pad,
brush or any other accessory. Pinching or
snagging causes rapid stalling of the
rotating accessory which in turn causes
the uncontrolled power tool to be forced in
the direction opposite of the accessory’s
rotation at the point of the binding.
• For example, if an abrasive wheel is
snagged or pinched by the workpiece,
the edge of the wheel that is entering
into the pinch point can dig into the
surface of the material causing the
wheel to climb out or kick out. The
wheel may either jump toward or away
from the operator, depending on the
direction of the wheel’s movement at
the point of pinching. Abrasive wheels
may also break under these conditions.
• Kickback is the result of power tool misuse
and/or incorrect operating procedures or
conditions and can be avoided by taking
proper precautions as given below .
a) Maintain a rm grip on the power tool and
position your body and arm to allow you to
resist kickback forces. Always use auxiliary
handle, if provided, for maximum control
over kickback or torque reaction during
start-up. The operator can control torque
reactions or kickback forces, if proper
precautions are taken.
b) Never place your hand near the
rotating accessory. The accessory may
kickback over your hand.
c) Do not position your body in the area
where power tool will move if kickback
occurs. Kickback will propel the tool in
the direction opposite to the wheel’s
movement at the point of snagging.
d) Use special care when working corners,
sharp edges etc. Avoid bouncing and
snagging the accessory. Corners, sharp
edges or bouncing have a tendency to
snag the rotating accessory and cause
loss of control or kickback.
e) Do not attach a saw chain woodcarving
blade or toothed saw blade. Such
blades create frequent kickback and
loss of control.
• Only use this tool for dry polishing
• Only use the anges which are supplied
with this tool
• This tool should not be used by people
under the age of 16 years
• Always disconnect plug from power
source before making any adjustment
or changing any accessory
• When used outdoors, connect the tool
via a fault current (FI) circuit breaker
with a triggering current of 30 mA
maximum, and only use an extension
cord which is intended for outdoor use
and equipped with a splashproof
coupling-socket
• Always check that the supply voltage is
the same as the voltage indicated on
the nameplate of the tool (tools with
a rating of 230V or 240V can also be
connected to a 220V supply)
• Always mount auxiliary handle B; never
use the tool without it
• Dust from material such as paint
containing lead, some wood species,
minerals and metal may be harmful
(contact with or inhalation of the dust
may cause allergi reactions and/or
respiratory diseases to the operator or
bystanders); wear a dust mask and
work with a dust extraction device when
connectable
• Certain kinds of dust are classied as
carcinogenic (such as oak and beech
dust) especially in conjunction with
additives for wood conditioning; wear a
dust mask and work with a dust
extraction device when connectable
• Follow the dust-related national
requirements for the materials you want
to work with
• Secure the workpiece (a workpiece
clamped with clamping devices or in a
vice is held more securely than by hand)
• Do not clamp the tool in a vice
• Use completely unrolled and safe
extension cords with a capacity of 16
Amps (U.K. 13 Amps)
OUTDOOR USE
BEFORE USE
GENERAL
• Do not work materials containing

speed matching at least the highest no

threaded hole smaller than
M14 x 21 mm

AFTER USE
• Before you put down the tool, switch off
the motor and ensure that all moving
parts have come to a complete standstill
• After switching off the tool, never stop
the rotation of the accessory by a
lateral force applied against it

3. Before using the tool
• ensure that accessory is correctly
mounted and rmly tightened
• check if accessory runs freely by
turning it by hand
• test-run tool for at least 30 seconds at
highest no-load speed in a safe position
• stop immediately in case of
considerable vibration or other defects
and check tool to determine the cause
4. On/off
• switch on/off the tool by
pulling/releasing trigger G
5. Electronic soft-start
Ensures reaching the maximum speed
smoothly without a sudden impact when
tool is switched on

• pull trigger G
• press knob J with your thumb
• unlock the switch by pulling again
trigger G and then releasing it

USE
• start with wheel F in position 600
(lower speed)
• if needed, select a higher speed while
the tool runs
• the optimal working speed depends on
the material and can be determined
with practical trials

• switch on the tool
• place the tool fully on the surface to be
polished and move it evenly by sections
• one move should overlap the previous
move by one half
• do not stop at a single spot to avoid
burning the coating
• do not move the tool in circles to avoid
staining or burning the coating
! before switching off the tool, you
should lift it from the workpiece
! the accessory continues to rotate for a
short time after the tool has been
switched off
10. Holding and guiding the tool
! while working, always hold the tool at
the grey-coloured grip area(s)
• always hold the tool rmly with both
hands, so you will have full control of
the tool at all times
• provide for a secure stance
! do not apply so much pressure on the
tool that it comes to a standstill

SEGURIDAD

c) No permita que cualquier parte suelta
de la borla o sus tiras de sujeción giren
libremente. Oculte o recorte las tiras
de sujeción. Las tiras de sujeción
sueltas pueden enredarse en los dedos
o enganchar la pieza de trabajo.
d) No use accesorios que no están
diseñados especícamente y
recomendados por el fabricante. Sólo
porque el accesorio se puede instalar
en su pulidora, no signica que se
puede utilizar de forma segura.
e) La velocidad descrita en el accesorio
debe ser, por lo menos, igual a la
velocidad máxima marcada en la
pulidora. Los accesorios que giran a
una velocidad mayor a la descrita
pueden salir volando.
f) El diámetro exterior y el grosor del
accesorio debe estar dentro del rango
de capacidad de la herramienta
eléctrica. Los accesorios de tamaño
incorrecto no se pueden proteger o
controlar adecuadamente.
g) El tamaño del árbol de ruedas, bridas,
almohadillas de soporte o cualquier
otro accesorio debe ajustarse
apropiadamente al husillo de la pulidora.
Accesorios con oricios de árbol que
no coinciden con el montaje de la
herramienta eléctrica correrá fuera de
balance, vibrar excesivamente y puede
causar pérdida de control.
h) No use un accesorio dañado. Antes de
cada uso inspeccione el accesorio para
asegurarse que no tiene grietas,
rasgaduras o desgaste excesivo. Si
la herramienta o el accesorio se caen,
inspeccione que no tenga daño o instale
un accesorio sin daño. Después de
revisar e instalar el accesorio, colóquese
usted y a las personas presentes fuera
del plano del accesorio giratorio y haga
funcionar la herramienta eléctrica a
máxima velocidad sin carga durante un
minuto. Los accesorios dañados
normalmente se romperán durante este
tiempo de prueba.
i) Use equipo de protección personal.
Dependiendo de la aplicación, use
careta, gogles o lentes de seguridad.
Cuando sea apropiado, use mascarilla,
protectores auriculares, guantes y
delantal de taller capaces de detener
abrasivos pequeños o fragmentos de
la pieza de trabajo. La protección de los
ojos debe ser capaz de detener residuos
que salen volando generados por varias
operaciones. La exposición prolongada
al ruido de alta intensidad puede causar
pérdida de audición.
j) Los visitantes deben permanecer a una
distancia segura del área de trabajo.
Toda persona que ingrese al área de
trabajo debe usar equipo de protección
personal. Fragmentos de la pieza de
trabajo o un accesorio que se rompe
puede salir volando y causar lesiones
más allá del área inmediata de trabajo.
k) Coloque el cable de alimentación lejos
de cualquier pieza giratoria. Si se pierde
el control, el cable puede ser cortado o
quedar atrapado causando que su mano
o el brazo sea jalado hacia la pieza
giratoria.
l) Nunca desatienda la herramienta hasta
que se detenga por completo. El
accesorio giratorio puede contactar la
supercie y jalar la herramienta fuera
de su control.
m)Nunca opere la herramienta eléctrica
mientras la transporte a su lado. El
contacto accidental con el accesorio
giratorio puede atrapar la ropa, jalando
la herramienta hacia su cuerpo.
> Use la herramienta eléctrica, los
accesorios y puntas, etcétera de acuerdo
a las instrucciones, considerando las
condiciones de trabajo y el trabajo a
realizar. El uso de herramienta eléctrica
para propósitos distintos a los que fue
diseñada puede generar una situación
de riesgo.
• SERVICIO
> Haga que los servicios sean realizados
sólo por personal calicado y que use
piezas idénticas. Esto asegurará que se
mantenga la seguridad de la
herramienta eléctrica.

n) Limpie regularmente las ventilas de la
herramienta. El ventilador del motor
atrae el polvo hacia el interior de la
herramienta y la acumulación de polvo
de metal puede generar riesgos
eléctricos.
o) No opere la herramienta cerca de
materiales amables. Las chispas
pueden encender estos materiales.
p) No use accesorios que requieren
refrigerantes líquidos. El uso de agua
u otros refrigerantes líquidos pueden
resultar en electrocución o choque
eléctrico.
RECHAZOS Y ADVERTENCIAS
RELATIVAS
• El rechazo es una reacción repentina
cuando ocurre un pellizco o un
enganchamiento de la rueda giratoria,
la almohadilla de soporte, cepillo u otro
accesorio. El pellizco o el enganchamiento
hacen que el accesorio giratorio se
detenga rápidamente y, a su vez, mueve
la herramienta eléctrica sin control en
la dirección opuesta al sentido de
rotación del accesorio en el punto de
enganche, el borde de la rueda que
está entrando en el punto de enganche
puede enterrarse en la supercie del
material causando que la rueda salga
disparada hacia afuera. La rueda puede
saltar hacia el operador o lejos del
operador, dependiendo del sentido del
movimiento de la rueda al momento del
enganche. Las ruedas abrasivas también
se pueden romper en estas condiciones.
• El rechazo es el resultado del mal uso
de la herramienta eléctrica y/o
procedimientos de operación incorrectos
o condiciones que se pueden evitar
teniendo las siguientes precauciones.
a) Mantenga un agarre rme sobre la
herramienta eléctrica y coloque el cuerpo
y el brazo de forma que le permita
resistir las fuerzas del rechazo. Use
siempre la manija auxiliar, si se
suministra, para tener un máximo
control sobre el rechazo o la reacción
de torque al encender la herramienta.
El operador puede controlar las
reacciones de torque y los rechazos si
se toma n las debidas precauciones.
b) Nunca coloque la mano cerca del
accesorio giratorio. El accesorio puede
ser rechazado hacia su mano.
c) No coloque su cuerpo en el área donde
se moverá la herramienta si ocurre un
rechazo. El rechazo impulsará la
herramienta en la dirección opuesta al
movimiento del accesorio en el punto
de enganche.
d) Tenga especial cuidado cuando trabaje
sobre esquinas, bordes losos, etc.
Evite hacer brincar y enganchar la
herramienta. Las esquinas, bordes
losos y los rebotes tienen la tendencia
a atorar el accesorio y causar pérdida
de control o rechazo.
e) No instale sierras ni seguetas. Este
tipo de accesorios generan rechazos
frecuentes y pérdida de control.
• Use esta herramienta sólo para pulido
en seco.
• Use únicamente las bridas
suministradas.
• Esta herramienta no debe ser
utilizada por personas menores de 16
años de edad.
• Siempre desconecte la clavija de la
corriente eléctrica antes de hacer algún
ajuste o cambio de accesorio.
• No trabaje sobre materiales que
contengan asbesto (el asbesto es
considerado cancerígeno).
ACCESORIOS
• Use únicamente accesorios cuya
velocidad de uso coincida con la
velocidad máxima sin carga dela
herramienta eléctrica.
• Nunca use accesorios con un oricio
roscado menor a M14 x 21mm
• No use accesorios dañados, deformados
o que presenten vibración.
GENERAL
• Cuando la opere en exteriores, conecte
la herramienta por medio de un
cortacircuitos con una corriente
desencadenante de un máximo de 30 mA
y use únicamente un cable de extensión
diseñado para uso en exteriores y
equipada con un contacto a prueba de
salpicaduras.
• Siempre verique que el voltaje sea el
mismo que el indicado en la placa de la
herramienta eléctrica (las herramientas
con valor de 230V o 240V también se
pueden conectar a suministros de 220V).
• Instale siempre la manija auxiliar B.
Nunca use la herramienta sin ella.
USO EN EXTERIORES
ANTES DE USAR

ANTES DE USAR
• El polvo de materiales como pintura que
contenga plomo, algunos tipo de madera,
minerales y metal puede ser dañino (el
contacto o la inhalación del polvo puede
causar reacciones alérgicas y/o
enfermedades respiratorias al operador
o personas que estén cerca); use una
mascarilla y trabaje con un extractor de
polvo siempre que sea posible.
• Cierto tipo de polvos están clasicados
como cancerígenos (tales como el polvo
de roble y de haya), en especial en
conjunto con aditivos para el
acondicionamiento de la madera; use
una mascarilla y trabaje con un equipo
de extracción de polvo siempre que sea
posible.
• Siga los lineamientos nacionales
referentes al polvo para los materiales
con los que va a trabajar.
• Asegure la pieza de trabajo (una pieza
de trabajo sujeta con una prensa u otro
sistema de sujeción está mejor sujeto
que con la mano).
• No sujete la herramienta eléctrica en
un tornillo de banco.
• Use extensiones eléctricas totalmente
desenrolladas y con una capacidad de
16 Amperes.
• Antes de dejar la herramienta, apague
el motor y asegúrese que todas las
partes móviles se han detenido por
completo.
• Después de apagar la herramienta,
nunca detenga el giro del accesorio
aplicando una fuerza lateral sobre él.
DESPUES DE USAR
1. Montaje de la manija auxiliar B
• Desconecte la herramienta.
• Monte la manija auxiliar B como se
muestra y apriete los tornillos
suministrados con la llave D.
2. Montaje de accesorios.
• Desconecte la herramienta
• Limpie el husillo B y todas las piezas
que se montarán.
• Atornille la almohadilla pulidora de
velcro A en el husillo B mientras
mantiene presionado el botón
asegurador de husillo C.
• Presione el botón asegurador de husillo
C solamente cuando esté totalmente
detenido.
USO
• Simplemente presione la borla de lana I
sobre la almohadilla de velcro A.
• Para retirar accesorios siga el mismo
procedimiento en sentido contrario.
3. Antes de usar la herramienta.
• Asegúrese que el accesorio esté bien
montado y rmemente apretado.
• Verique que el accesorio gire
libremente moviéndolo con la mano.
• Pruebe la herramienta durante al menos
30 segundos a la máxima velocidad sin
carga en una posición segura.
• Deténgala de inmediato si percibe una
vibración considerable u otra condición
anómala y revise la herramienta para
determinar la causa.
4. Encendido/apagado
• Encienda o apague la herramienta
presionando y soltando el gatillo
interruptor G.
5. Inicio suave electrónico
• Asegura que se alcance la velocidad
máxima suavemente sin un impacto
repentino cuando se enciende la
herramienta.
6. Aseguramiento del interruptor para
uso continuo.
• Presione el gatillo G.
• Presione la perilla J con el dedo pulgar.
• Desasegure el interruptor presionando
nuevamente el gatillo G y soltándolo.
7. Control de velocidad.
• Con la perilla F se puede alcanzar la
velocidad máxima de baja a alta
(600-3 000).
• Inicie con la perilla en la posición 600
(velocidad más baja).
• Si es necesario, seleccione una
velocidad más alta mientras la
herramienta está encendida.
• La velocidad óptima de trabajo
depende del material y se puede
determinar con práctica.
8. Capa protectora de lana.
• Evita que ingrese polvo para prolongar
la vida de la herramienta.
9. Operación.
• Encienda la herramienta.
• Coloque la herramienta por completo
sobre la supercie a pulir y muévala
uniformemente por secciones.
• Un movimiento debe superponerse a la
mitad del movimiento previo.
