Congratulations on your purchase of the Koelstra Flexxo Plus. Before
you start using the Flexxo Plus, please carefully read the instructions,
useful tips and warranty conditions. Keep these instructions for
future reference.
UNFOLDING THE FRAME
•Folding and unfolding the Flexxo is done most easily when you
stand behind the Flexxo. Picture 1
•Unlock the frame by pulling on the left eye (see arrow picture 1)
and, at the same time, lift the handle bar as far as is necessary for
the latch to automatically lock shut on both sides. Picture 2
•Adjust the handle bar by pushing the adjustment buttons and set it
to the desired height. Picture 3
ASSEMBLEY THE SWIVEL WHEELS
•Place the front-axle onto the front-
fork, then press the slide fastener
into place. Picture 4
•Place the front wheels on the front-axle. Keeping the 2 buttons on
the hubcap pressed in, push the wheel until it will go no further.
Then pull back on the wheel a little until you hear a clear click.
Picture 5
•Always confirm that the wheels are fastened correctly.
•To place the swivel wheels in their fixed position, push the swivel
wheel fasteners into their downwards position. Picture 5
•To allow the swivel wheels to turn, push the swivel wheel fasteners
into their upwards position.
ASSEMBLEY
AND DISMOUNTING THE REAR WHEELS
•Place the rear wheels on the back-axle. Push onto the axle until the
wheel will go no further. Picture 6
•Confirm that both back wheels are correctly mounted. This is also
important for proper functioning of the brakes!
•The wheels may be removed for storage or transport of the Flexxo.
To remove a wheel, simply press the button on the side of the
wheel block upwards and take the wheel off. Picture 7

THE BRAKES
•To operate the breaks, use your foot to push the brake lever into its
downwards position. (Picture 8) The Flexxo is now on its brakes.
Always confirm that both wheels are braked before you let go of the
Flexxo.
•To release the brakes, use your foot to raise the brake lever
upwards.
•Always put the Flexxo on its brakes when it is not moving.
•Never leave your child unattended in the Flexxo, not even when the
Flexxo is in its proper parked position.
ASSEMBLY OF THE BASKET
•To assemble the basket, position the upholstery between the
under-side of the footrest and the metal strip and attach it using the
snaps. Picture 9
•Assemble the other side of the basket, above the spacing pegs on
the back frame, on the rear tube, again using the snaps. Picture 10
The basket is positioned somewhat tightly in the frame as can be
seen in picture 11.
•Place only light-weight packages in the basket.
ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY OF CARRY COT OMEGA Ω
•Lift the fleece inner lining upwards at the foot-end of the carry cot.
•On the inside of the carry cot you will find two metal tension rods.
Unfold both so that the hinges of the rods fall into the holes on the
bottom end of the cot.
•At the foot-end of the inner lining are two pieces of Velcro. Attach
these to the Velcro on the carry cot and then pull the edge of the
inner lining back over the carry cot.
USING THE HOOD
•To the right on the inside of the hood is an adjustment button. Push
this button with your right hand and use your left hand to adjust the
hood to the desired position. When you release the button the hood
automatically locks.
•To transport the carry cot by holding it by the hood, place the hood
in its upright position (90 degrees to the carry cot).
ASSEMBLY OF THE WIND COVER
•The wind cover can be attached to the hood using the snaps.

MOUNTING THE CARRY COT OMEGA ΩONTO THE FLEXXO
•Position the adjustable footrest horizontally. Picture 11
•At the foot end of the carry cot is a safety belt. Undo this.
•Disassemble the closure of the safety belt paying close attention to
how the belt is threaded through the fastener. Bring the safety belt
around the tube at the rear of the frame and guide it through the D-
ring. Re-fasten the clip to the safety belt. Picture 12
•
Position the carry cot onto the frame in such a way that the hood
just touches the frame.
Picture 13
•Now push the carry cot forwards as far as possible. Picture 14
•The carry cot is now fixed. Confirm that all of the catches
underneath the cot are attached properly
to
the frame
.
Picture 15
You can check this by lifting the carry cot both at the front-end and
at the back-end. It is fitted correctly if it does not come undone from
the frame.
•Now place the closure of the safety belt into the matching part of
the carry cot (so it can no longer come out). Adjust the length of the
belt so it connects properly.
•To release the carry cot, unfasten the safety belt and pull the cot
backwards. Picture 13 Then remove the carry cot via the front of
the frame (Never do this with your child in the carry cot). You can
now place the carry cot on a hard, even and stable surface, or fold
it into a small package for transport.
ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY OF THE SEAT AND HOOD
•The bottom part of the seat can be slid over the adjustable footrest.
Picture 16
•Attach all of the snaps on both sides of the seat to the frame.
Picture 17
•Guide the short part of the 5-point safety harness through the
buttonhole in the seat and fasten this to the connection rod using
the snap. Picture 16/Picture 18
•Under the seat are two plastic catches. Click these onto the
connection rod. Picture 16
•Pull the back-rest adjustment strap through the loops on both sides
of the seat and through the buckle. Then pull the cloth part at the
back of the seat over the back-rest adjustment strap. Picture 17

•Guide the right and left sides of the 5-point harness through the
openings on both sides of the seat and attach them to the frame
using the hooks on the metal D-rings. Picture 19
•Adjust the straps of the 5-point harness to the correct size for your
child using the various adjustment options. Picture 20
•Place the 5-point harness around the waist and shoulders of the
child, fasten the buckles correctly and re-confirm that all parts of
the safety belt are correctly positioned and secured.
•Squeeze the buckles to open them again. Picture 20
•Always use the 5-point harness!
•Using the snap, fix the crotch strap around the fastener of the 5-
point harness. WARNING: if the crotch strap is fastened around the
cross bar, you will need to release it first before folding the Flexxo.
•Assembly of the hood: slide the hood brace through the hood and
fasten the snaps on the hood to the hood brace. Picture 21
•Click the hood brace into the plastic holders on the frame. Picture
22
•
Place the straps of the hood around the handle bar above the
handle-bar adjustment latch, Picture 23 and pull the strap through
the buckle and close the Velcro (somewhat tightly). Close the
zipper over the strap so that it is no longer in view. Picture 24 By
pushing the hood forwards a bit more you can obtain a nice smooth
hood.
ADJUSTING THE BACK REST
To bring the back rest from the sleeping position into the sitting
position, tilt the back rest upwards slightly and then pull the adjustment
strap until the back rest reaches the desired position. Picture 25 Never
adjust the back rest when a child is in the Flexxo.
INSTALLING THE CROSS BAR
•Disassemble the plastic part on one side of the cross bar. You do
this by pushing in the silver button. Picture 26
•Place this plastic part in the opening on the side of the frame.
Picture 27 Do the same with the other plastic part of the cross bar.
Be careful not to damage the frame.
•Now push the cross bar back into the first plastic part. Picture 27
•To fold the frame, you will need to fold the cross bar to its inward
position. Picture 28

FOLDING THE FLEXXO PLUS
•Position the handle bar so that it forms an extension of
the frame.
Picture 3
•Fold the hood to its backwards position.
•Fold the cross bar inwards. Make sure that the crotch strap is not
wrapped around the cross bar. Picture 28
•At the same time, pull the release latches on both sides of the
Flexxo. The frame unlocks.
•The frame now folds together somewhat, but will be stopped by the
second safety hook. This is located on the right side of the frame.
Unlock this by bringing it upwards. Picture 29 Slowly fold the frame
together.
•Never force and do not push the handle bar downwards.
•Adjust the handle bar in the direction of the seat. Picture 30
•Your frame is now folded and locked so that it can be easily lifted to
put it into a car.
•You can also take off the wheels if need be.
•Cover the wheels with a towel when the pushchair is folded. This
prevents dirt and prints from getting on the hood (and other
upholstery). Or take off the wheels.
•Never use force in (un)folding the Flexxo. When in doubt, do not
hesitate to consult your dealer for further information.

TIPS FOR USAGE
•Not following the instruction booklet, tips for usage, tips for maintenance and warnings
could be detrimental to the safety of your child.
•Ensure that the frame is in the correct operating position.
•Do not hang parcels or weights onto the handle bar. This is reduces the durability and
stability of your buggy. Use the basket, which is located under the seat between the
wheels. Do not use your Flexxo as luggage cart, as excess weight causes damage and is
unsafe!
•Use only accessories recommended by Koelstra, because they are specially designed for
this model.
•Lower the hood and remove the wind cover or rain canopy when the Flexxo is used
indoors or outside in still weather. This prevents the child from suffering a possible lack of
oxygen.
•Never use a wind cover and a rain canopy at the same time, but use these separately to
prevent a possible lack of oxygen to the child.
•Remember that aluminium, metal and plastic parts can become very hot in bright sunshine.
You can prevent this by covering these parts with a cotton sheet.
•On warm days, never leave your child in direct contact with non-water absorbent materials.
•Always use a rain canopy when it is raining.
•Do not place more than one child in the Flexxo at any time, not even in a second child
seat.
•Do not leave any loose parts in the Flexxo.
•Never allow your child to stand in the Flexxo, as this can cause damage to your Flexxo.
•Always use the 5-point safety harness, fastened correctly.
•Upon delivery the tires may be soft. Inflate the tires to the desired firmness, maximum 35
p.s.i.
•Do not use stairs, escalators and elevators while your child is seated in the Flexxo.
•Always put the brake in parking position when standing still. Check this.
•Incorrect use of the Flexxo can cause damage. Read the enclosed instruction booklet and
keep it for future reference.
•To prevent dangerous situations we recommend you not jog or skate with the Flexxo.
WARNING
Your child’s safety is your responsibility. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
eventual damage caused by incorrect or inappropriate use of your Flexxo. Always use the 5-point
safety harness fastened correctly! Never leave your child unattended, not even when the Flexxo is on
its the brakes. Regularly check all closures and straps for correct functioning.
If other persons use the Flexxo please show them how to correctly operate the Flexxo. Always ask
them to read through the instruction booklet!

MAINTENANCE ADVICE
•The frame and upholstery are sensitive to knocks and scratches, so be careful, especially when
transporting the Flexxo.
•Always use a rain canopy when it is raining. The upholstery is water resistant but water can
nonetheless seep in through the seams and cause damage. Should your Flexxo become wet,
use a soft cloth to wipe off excess moisture and then allow it to dry fully. Leave the upholstery to
dry in the dark. Some discoloration of the upholstery is possible, especially if it gets wet.
•The upholstery can be easily cleaned using a moist cloth and if necessary mild soap. Always
treat the whole surface and let the material dry in the dark.
•If necessary, you can wash the upholstery. Read the washing instructions on the labels. In the
seat are two boards. These should be removed before washing (the boards can be taken out by
undoing the Velcro on the back of the seat). Remove dirt. Wash in lukewarm water (no hotter
than 30 degrees). Rinse well to remove any soap residue. Do not use washing powder. Lie flat
and let dry in the dark. Smooth away as many wrinkles as possible from the upholstery. Do not
use a dryer/spin cycle.
•You can dry or clean the Flexxo frame using a soft towel.
•Although our materials are selected for their colourfastness, some decolourisation can occur due
to climatological influences. You can reduce this by keeping the Flexxo out of direct sunlight or
covering the Flexxo with a white sheet. Salt residues from transpiration from your hands can
cause the upholstery to become greasy and sallow.
•Regularly spray the moving parts of the Flexxo frame with Teflon spray or silicon spray to ensure
their continued smooth operation. Regularly spray the axles with Teflon spray or silicon spray.
Never use oil, grease or other oil-based lubricants because these actually attract dirt and dust.
•Always remove salt and sand immediately.
•Prevent overloading of the frame! The maximum weight allowed is 18 kilograms.
•When you have a flat tyre you can fix it by using a puncture repair kit. If necessary, replacement
inner tubes can be ordered from your specialist baby store.
We advise you to carry out the above maintenance regularly so as to ensure maximum enjoyment
from your Flexxo. Damage caused by not following these instructions is not covered under the
warranty.
Should you want to make use of our service network, please contact your dealer with proof of
purchase and warranty. If a part needs to be replaced, use only parts supplied by Koelstra.
We wish you much enjoyment with your Flexxo Plus!
