5
To reduce the risk of injury:
•The water in a spa should never exceed 40°C. A water temperature between 38°C
and 40°C is considered safe for a healthy adult. Lower water temperatures are
recommended for young children, or if the spa will be used for more than 10 minutes.
•Since excessive water temperatures have a high potential for causing fetal damage
during the early months of pregnancy, users who are pregnant or possibly pregnant
should limit spa water temperature to 38°C.
•Before entering a spa, the user should measure the water temperature with an
accurate thermometer since the tolerance of the water temperature regulating device
may vary.
•The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during spa use may lead to
unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning.
•The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication can greatly increase the risk of fatal
hyperthermia. Hyperthermia occurs when the internal body temperature reaches a
level that is several degrees above normal body temperature (37°C).
The symptoms of hyperthermia include an increase in the internal temperature of the
body, dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and fainting.
The effects of hyperthermia include failure to perceive heat, failure to recognise the
need to exit the spa, unawareness of impending hazards, fetal damage for pregnant
women, physical inability to exit the spa, and unconsciousness resulting in the danger
of drowning.
•Obese persons and persons with a history of heart disease, low or high blood pressure,
circulatory system problems, or diabetes should consult a physician before using a
spa.
•Persons using medication should consult a physician before using the spa as some
medication may induce drowsiness, while other medication may affect heart rate,
blood pressure, and circulation.
•Consult your physician for recommendations.
•Do not pour water with a temperature higher than 40°C into the spa pool directly.
•Electric installations must follow national wiring rules. If unsure, consult a qualified
electrician.
Caution:
•It is strongly recommended not to unfold and inflate the spa if the ambient
temperature is below 15°C. Inflate the spa indoors and then continue setting up
outdoors.
•Do not use the spa alone.
•People with infectious diseases should not use a spa.
•Do not use the spa immediately following strenuous exercise.

6
•Always enter and exit the spa slowly and cautiously. Beware of wet slippery surfaces.
•To avoid damage to the pump, do not operate the spa unless it is filled with water.
•Leave the spa immediately if the user feels uncomfortable or sleepy.
•Do not add water to chemicals. Always add chemicals to the water to avoid strong
fumes or violent reactions.
•Refer to the Cleaning and care’ section of this user guide regarding information about
cleaning, maintenance, and disposal of water.
After using your spa for 3–5 years, you should contact your local qualified maintenance
technician to ensure the safety and performance of the spa. The main components (for
example, the heating element, air blower motor, non-return valves) within the electric unit

BEFORE INSTALLING

9
Site preparation and requirements
•The spa can be installed indoors or outdoors in around 10 minutes. This spa is for
household use only.
•The spa must be set up on a flat, smooth, and supporting surface that can support
the maximum load of the filled spa with the maximum number of occupants.
•Ensure the area is free of sharp objects under or around the spa. Uneven or unsound
surfaces can damage the spa. Level the surface if needed before filling the spa with
water.
•Provide adequate drainage around the spa to deal with the overflowing of water and
splashes.
•Ensure there is enough clearance around the spa for full access to the spa equipment
for maintenance and/or service.
Additional requirements for indoor installation
•Verify the supporting floor can support the filled weight of the spa with the maximum
number of occupants. Check with a qualified contractor or structural engineer to verify
the requirement.
•Ensure the floor is water-resistant and provides a non-slip surface. Do not install the
spa on carpet or any other material that could be damaged by moisture.
•Humidity is a normal side effect when using the spa indoors. Ensure the room where
the spa is installed is properly ventilated to allow moisture to escape. It is strongly
recommended to install a ventilating system to prevent excess condensation moisture
in the room.
Additional requirements for outdoor installation
•Do not set up the spa on grass or dirt as this increases the amount of debris entering
the spa and can cause damage to the spa floor.
•To maximise the life of the spa, do not leave the spa tub exposed to direct sunlight.
•Always keep the manometer in the yellow section when using the spa at a
temperature higher than 20°C, or when it is exposed to sunlight for a short time.
•It is not recommended to install and leave the spa outside at a temperature lower
than 4°C. This ensures the water inside the circulation system, pump, and pipe do not
become frozen. Place a heat preservation mat (not included) between the spa bottom
and the ground to prevent heat loss from the bottom of the spa and to provide better
heat retention.

Spa water
Protect all the spa occupants from possible water related illnesses by keeping the spa water
clean and sanitised. Always practice good hygiene. Ensure spa water quality by following
these procedures:
•Change the spa water every 3–5 days depending on spa use. If dirt is visible in the
water, or the water becomes cloudy and proper water chemistry does not clear it up,
change the water and clean the spa tub. See the “Spa Tub Cleaning” section for
further instructions.
•Use spa chemicals to maintain proper water conditions. Consult with your local spa or
pool retailer for more information on chemical use.
•All occupants must shower before entering the spa. Do not use skin care products or
sunscreen while using the spa.
Water sanitation
The spa owner must regularly check and keep the spa water sanitised with scheduled
maintenance (daily, if necessary). Adding sanitiser or other chemicals will control bacteria
and virus reproduction in the spa water. The maintenance of a proper water balance through
appropriate use of sanitisers is the most important factor in maximising the life and
appearance of the spa as well as ensuring clean, healthy, and safe water.
Proper technique is important for water testing and treating the spa water. See your spa
professional for questions on chemicals, sanitisers, test kits, and testing procedures.
Water treatment:
•Always follow the chemical manufacturer's directions and the health and hazard
warnings.
•Never mix different chemicals. Add the chemicals to the spa water separately.
Thoroughly dissolve each chemical before adding the next one to the water.
•IMPORTANT: Chlorine and bromine products should never be mixed. This is extremely
dangerous. If you usually use chlorine-based products and want to switch to bromine-
based products or vice versa, it is mandatory to completely change the spa water
before any product changes.
•Do not add chemicals if the spa is occupied. This can cause skin or eye irritation.
•Do not overuse the chemicals or use concentrated chlorine. This can damage the spa
tub and cause potential harm to your skin.
