Safety Notes
Please note that while the quad- opter is a top, it an still be dangerous if used in orre tly. Any in orre t
assembly or operation may ause a malfun tion or an a ident. We re ommend that this produ t is not
used by anyone under the age of 14 years old.
Do not use the quad- opter near other people. Make sure that the devi e is used well away from rowds,
animals or other obje ts.
This produ t is designed for indoor use. Please sele t a lo ation without a lot of
obje ts that an be easily damaged. Do not use this devi e near power lines or light
fixtures.
Prevent getting the produ t wet. The remote ontrolled toy is omposed of many
pre ision built ele tri al omponents. It is riti al that you keep the devi e away from
moisture as this an ause internal orrosion.
To avoid a potential fire danger from the batteries, ensure that you do not short the
batteries or install them with the in orre t polarities. Kogan. om is not liable for any
damage aused by the produ t being damaged due to in orre tly fitted batteries.
There are NO user servi eable parts inside.
If you are not going to use the quad- opter for an extended period of time, please
ensure that you remove the batteries, as batteries left inside the produ t for a long
time may leak.
Keep this devi e away from heat. The plasti is very sus eptible to damage or
deformation from being lose to heat sour es. Do not store the devi e near a heater
or oven, and do not leave it sitting in dire t sunlight.
This devi e will be diffi ult to fly at first until you have had suffi ient pra ti e. If
possible, assistan e from a person who is experien ed with flying model quad- opters
may be desirable.

DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THE REMOTE CONTROL
1. Use a s rewdriver to uns rew the battery ompartment by removing the s rews (step 1).
2. Load 4 x AA batteries into the remote ontrol, paying attention to the orre t polarities as shown
in the battery ompartment itself (step 2).

Charging the Quad- opter Batteries
Using the supplied USB able, plug the onne tor into the harging
port on the quad- opter, then plug the large USB plug into a USB wall
harger or a omputer.

Pairing Remote Control and Re eiver
Step One
Turn the quad- opter power on, then pla e it down on a flat lo ation. The
status indi ator will flash. Do not move the devi e as the gyros ope is
alibrating.
Step Two
Turn the remote ontrol on, the push the throttle sti k down to it's lowest
point, then push it up to the highest point. The remote ontrol will send out
a signal and pair with the quad- opter
Step Three
After use, please turn off the quad- opter to avoid depleting the batteries
further.
WARNING: If left paired and operating for too long, the battery may be
damaged due to over-dis harge and may even be ome a fire hazard.
Step Four
Turn off the remote ontrol. If the remote ontrol is not going to be used
for an extended period of time, please remove the batteries.

Flight Adjustments and Settings
To get familiar with the operations, pra ti e operating the ontrols as shown below in a large open area.
Keep pra ti ing the manoeuvrers until you an perform them as they are being alled out.
Notes for Beginners
•Che k to make sure all s rews are tightened.
•Che k that the remote ontrol and quad- opter are both fully harged.
•Make sure that no people or obstru tions are nearby.
•Pra ti e safe hovering before moving on to harder tri ks.
•Stand approximately 2m diagonally behind the quad- opter
•When the four lights on the bottom of the quad- opter all flash, it means the battery is running low.
Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Possible Solution
Lights on quad- opter blink ontinuously
for 4 se onds on e turned on. No response
to ontroller input.
Unable to pair with the remote ontrol. Repeat the power up and initialisation
pro ess.
No response after batteries are inserted into
the remote ontrol.
•Che k power of both remote
ontrol and quad- opter
•Poor onta t on battery
terminals.
•Fully harge the quad- opter and
repla e batteries in remote.
•Reseat the batteries and ensure
the onta t is good.
Motor not responding to throttle sti k. Heli opter battery depleted. Fully harge the batteries.
Main blade not turning. The main blade and motor are not
assembled orre tly.
Lift the main blade up to give appropriate
learan e.
Main rotor spins but quad- opter will not
take off.
•Deformed main blades.
•Heli opter battery depleted.
•Repla e blades.
•Charge heli opter fully.
Quad- opter is shaking violently or lunging
sideways.
Main blade is out of shape. Repla e main blade.
Tail remains off-trim after adjustment, or
in onsistent speed during left/right
pirouette.
•Damaged tail rotors.
•Damaged tail drive motor.
•Repla e the main wing.
•Repla e the main rotor.
Quad- opter still wanders forward after trim
adjustment during hover.
Gyros ope has not been alibrated
orre tly.
Turn quad- opter off, then turn it on and
pla e it on a flat surfa e and do not move it
while it re alibrates.
