Instruction Manual
1.Donotreverseconnect/shortthebattery.
Shortingtheterminalscausesdamagetothebattery,whichintheworstcasemayresultinthebatteryemittingsmokeor
fire.Holdtheterminalsfirmlywhendisconnectingthebattery.Donotpullonthecables.Nevertrytomodifythegenuine
connectors.Continuedusemayresultintheframeorpartsbecomingscratched,andtheouterinsulationofwiresmay
becomesplit.Checkthewiresperiodicallytoensureashortcircuitdoesnotoccur.
2.Donotuseatlowvoltage.Becarefulofoverdischarging.
Whenbatteriesareusedforalongperiodofthetime,thecapacitymayreduceandvoltagemaydrop.Thesameoccurs
withLi‐Fe.Usinga9.9vrated3‐cellbatteryatlowerthan8.7vora6.6vratedbatteryatlowerthan5.8v(*)maydamage
thebatterycausingittoswell.Thisisknownasoverdischarging.Continueduseinthisstatemayresultinfire.

3.Donotdamagethebattery.Donotdroporsubjecttostrongimpact.
Donotdisassembleormodify.
Iftheinteriorofthebatteryisexposed,gasmayleakandignite.Whenusingthebattery,besuretocheckthattheouter
coveringisundamaged,thatthebatteryisfittedsecurelyintherobotbody,andthatitcannotbedamagedbyimpactdue
tofalling,etc.beforeturningtheswitchon.Ifthebatteryappearsdamagedduetoimpactorifitappearsunusualinany
way,donotuseorrechargeit.
4.Donotuseifthewireinsulationissplit.
Repeatedusemayresultinthewireinsulationbecomingdamagedandsplit.Pullingwiresacrosstheframeburringor
allowingthebatterytofall,etc.withthewiresexposedmaycausedamagetothewires.Checkthewiresperiodically,as
wiresexposedthroughsmallgapsintheinsulationmayresultinshorting.
5.Donotcarryaroundorstoreuncovered.
Carryingthebatteryaroundinabag,etc.uncoveredmayresultinmetallicobjectscomingintocontactwiththebattery
causingashortoutordamagingthebatteryresultinginashortout.Furthermore,storinginthewronglocationsmay
resultinitemsfallingonthebatteryorwaterbeingsplashedonthebatteryresultinginashortout.Alwaysplaceinside
anLi‐Fesafetybagwhencarryingorstoringthebattery.
6.Usethecorrecttypeofcharger,andmakesureallsettingvaluesare
correct.Becarefulnottooverchargethebattery.
Therearevarioustypesofchargersavailableatawidevarietyofprices,andsuchchargersaredesignedtocharge
specifictypesofbatteries.BesuretouseanLi‐Fecompatiblechargerthatcanprovidebalancedcharging.Furthermore,
thecapacityofbatteriesdiffers.Besuretosetthechargertotheratedvoltageofthebatteryandthechargecurrent
belowthecapacityofthebattery.Repeatedlychargingthebatterytounnecessarilyhighsettingsmaycausedamageto
thebatteryorfire.Beextremelycarefulwhenchargingbatteriesanddonotleavethebatterybyitselfduringcharging.
7.Donotuse/storeinhightemperature/humidity.
Donotuseorstoreinalocationthatissubjecttodirectsunlight,orinalocationthatmaybecomehotsuchasinside
acarornearaheater.Donotuseorrechargeinlocationswhereitmaybesplashedwithwaterorwherethereisalotof
humidity.
8.Donotuseifthebatteryisswollen.
Swellingisasignthatthebatterymustnotbeusedanylonger.Disposeofthebatteryinaccordancewiththelawsand
rulesinyourregion.
