LUNCHBOX STOVE
GAMELLE-RÉCHAUD

IMPORTANT
This unit can be operated on both 12 Volt and 24 Volt vehicle systems, as well as on Koolatron 12 Volt 5 Amp power
supplies. Always start your vehicle’s engine prior to plugging in your lunchbox stove. Plug the cord into the
cigarette lighter socket. This unit draws up to 9 Amps during operation so make sure that the circuit you are using
is rated for this much current. Average current draw is about 5 Amps.
CAUTION
Do not warm food in plastic containers, sandwich bags, or any sealed container. The maximum temperature of the
pan surface will be about 190°C (374°F) using a self-regulating heater element. Plastic containers may melt, and
sealed containers may explode when heated. This unit must EVER be submerged in liquid.
SAFETY
Bottom and sides of unit get extremely hot and steam may leak from the unit. Unit will leak if knocked over.
The stove gets hot very quickly and stays hot even after being unplugged. Do not immerse cord or warmer in any
liquid. Keep cord away from hot surfaces. Always unplug unit when not in use. Allow stove to cool before storing.
Keep out of the reach of children. Do not place on or near surfaces that may be damaged by heat or steam.
COOKING WITH THE LUNCHBOX STOVE
Puncture cans and open jars prior to heating. Place food in aluminum foil or small oven bags to make cleanup
easier.You can safely put food in the aluminum pan, however cleanup is more difficult.A water bath helps to spread
the heat more quickly when cooking food in their original containers. Water must never be added when the unit is
hot.
APPROXIMATE HEATING TIMES
• Baby food jars or bottles (use water bath) ~ 3-5 minutes
• Hot Dogs ~ 5 minutes
• Grilled cheese sandwich ~ 7-10 minutes
• Canned soups and foods ~ 20 minutes
• Rice ~ 30 minutes
• Leftovers (in oven bag or foil) varies depending on type of food
OTE
Heating of foods improves with increased contact with bottom pan; a water bath helps here. Small oven bags or
aluminum foil will ease the cleanup.
CLEANUP

- Use a cloth, brush or sponge with water and mild dish soap.
- Do not use metal scouring pads.
TROUBLE HOOTING
If the stove does not heat, check the cigarette lighter socket for contact, and check the vehicle fuse. When using
the power adapter, check to see if the ready light is on.
IMPORTANT
Cette gamelle peut être utilisée dans des voitures avec un système de 12 volts ou de 24 volts, ainsi qu’avec un
bloc d’alimentation Koolatron de 12 volts 5 ampères de sortie. Il faut démarrer le moteur du véhicule avant de
brancher la gamelle-réchaud. Branchez le cordon à la prise de l’allume-cigarettes. La gamelle-réchaud peut

ATTENTION
e réchauffez pas les aliments dans des contenants en plastique, ni dans des sacs à sandwich ou n’importe quels
contenants scellés. Les contenants en plastique peuvent fondre et les contenants scellés peuvent éclater lorsqu’ils
sont chauffés. e submergez jamais dans l’eau.
MESURES DE PRÉCAUTION
Le fond et les côtés de la gamelle-réchaud deviennent très chauds et il y a danger que la vapeur s’échappe. Si la
gamelle-réchaud est renversée, le liquide s’écoulera. La gamelle-réchaud devient rapidement très chaude et le
demeure même après avoir été débranchée. ’immergez pas le cordon ou la gamelle-réchaud dans l’eau ou dans
un autre liquide quelconque. Éloignez le cordon des surfaces chauffantes. Débranchez toujours la gamelle-réchaud
après l’emploi. Attendez que la gamelle soit refroidit avant de la ranger. Gardez hors de la portée des enfants.
e placez pas sur ou près des surfaces susceptibles d’être endommagées par la chaleur ou la vapeur.
CUIRE DANS LE GAMELLE-RÉCHAUD
Percez les boîtes de conserve et ouvrez les bocaux avant de chauffer. Pour faciliter le nettoyage, servez-vous d’un
contenant en papier d’aluminium ou d’un petit sac conçu pour le four. Un plateau en aluminium peut être utilisé,
mais sera plus difficile à nettoyer. Un bain d’eau aidera à cuire plus rapidement les aliments dans leurs boîtes.
’ajoutez jamais de l’eau dans une gamelle lorsqu’elle est chaude.
TEMPS DE CHAUFFE APPROXIMATIFS :
• Aliments pour bébé en pots/bouteilles (se servir d’un bain d’eau) ~ 3-5 minutes
• Hot-Dogs ~ 5 minutes
• Sandwich grillé au fromage ~ 7 à 10 minutes
• Soupes et aliments en conserve ~ 20 minutes
• Riz ~ 30 minutes
• Restes de table varie en fonction du type d`aliment.
(dans un sac allant au four ou dans un papier d`aluminium)
REMARQUE
La cuisson sera améliorée en vous servant d’un bain d’eau. Les petits sacs conçus pour le four ou le papier
d’aluminium faciliteront le nettoyage.
NETTOYAGE
- DÉBRA CHEZ TOUJOURS LA GAMELLE AVA T DE LA ETTOYER.
- E SUBMERGEZ JAMAIS LA GAMELLE DA S L’EAU.
- Utilisez un linge, une brosse ou une éponge avec un savon doux et de l’eau.
- ’utilisez pas un tampon métallique à récurer.
DÉPANNAGE
Si la gamelle-réchaud ne chauffe pas, nettoyez la prise d’allume-cigarettes ou encore, vérifiez l’état du fusible du
véhicule. Lors de l’utilisation d’un adaptateur, veuillez voir si l’indicateur lumineux est allumé.
