Features
The CCT210 is a mains powered video amplifier for boosting the video on long cable runs. If it is
not possible to locate the video amplifier next to the camera, this mains operated unit can be
operated from the control equipment end, although this is not as effective as positioning it at the
camera end. The power on LED in the switch, will light when power is applied. This video amplifier
can be connected to video cameras, multiplexors, VCRs and DVRs etc.
Setting Up Unit
There are two BNC connectors on the back of the unit.
Connect input from camera to the IN BNC connector.
Now connect the cable from the monitor/DVR to the
OUT BNC. Connect amplifier to 220v ~ 240vAC mains
and switch on power switch on the amplifier.
With both Gain controls set fully anti-clockwise, turn
the HF GAIN control clockwise until a colour picture is
displayed (if colour camera). Now adjust the GAIN control (left) to get the best video picture.
If the HF GAIN does not produce a colour picture, then turn both gain controls fully anti-clockwise
and move the GAIN control a short distance. Then adjust the HF GAIN control to display a colour
picture. Continue moving the GAIN control in short steps and adjusting the HF GAIN to get the best
picture.

The CCT210 is a mains powered
video amplifier that can improve a
video signal on longer cable runs.
When used with the RG59 type
cable, runs of over 200 metres can
easily be achieved. This amplifier
has the added benefit that it can
help with ground loop problems
caused by different ‘0V’levels in
a system.
Troubleshooting
1. Check power LED is lit. If not check
power supply.
2.
If connecting equipment such as quads,
multiplexors, VCRs or DVRs these may
reduce signal strength.
3.
Avoid transmission distances in excess
of 200 metres which may cause video
signal degredation.
