IP66 rating
The speaker is rated IP66. This means it is protected from dust and low pressure water
jets in any direction, but is not impervious to large amounts of water. Please do not directly
immerse in water.
Instructions for use
Charging the speaker
Give the speaker a full charge before its rst use.
1. Connect the USB charging cable to the Micro USB charging port (5) and plug into power
2. The LED indicator (8) will be red whilst charging which will take up to 4 hours

Pairing the speaker to your device
1. Turn speaker on, and it will enter pairing mode, with the LED indicator (8) ashing
blue quickly
2. Turn your iOS, Android, or Windows device’s Bluetooth®ON and search for new devices
3. Select ‘KS BOXI’. If asked for a passcode, enter ‘0000’, and the device will pair
4. The LED indicator (8) will be solid blue once connected
Re-pairing or pairing new devices
1. Turn Bluetooth connectivity o on any previously paired devices
2. Follow the ‘Pairing the speaker to your device’ instructions
3. If a previously paired device is not present within the Bluetooth range then the speaker
will re-enter pairing mode
OR
1. Long press MFB (4) and it will put the BOXI back into pairing mode
Playing music on your speaker
Bluetooth
When connected wirelessly, play the music on your device and the sound will play through
the speaker. Some devices may require you to select the audio output.
Long press Next track (3) to skip to next track
Long press Previous track (2) to skip to previous track
Short press MFB (4) to play/pause track
Short press Volume– (2) to decrease volume
Short press Volume+ (3) to increase volume

Call handling
Taking calls with the BOXI is only activated while connected wirelessly to your device.
To be heard clearly, please speak towards the built-in Microphone (7).
To answer an incoming call short press MFB (4)
To reject an incoming call long press MFB (4)
To hang up short press MFB (4)
Please note
Your device will have an internal amplier and if it is playing digital les like MP3s it will
also have an integrated DAC (Digital Audio Converter). If you turn the volume up to 100%,
your device will be sending a distorted signal. To avoid this, and to get the best quality
from the speaker, we recommend that you do not run your device any higher than 95%
volume. Some devices output higher than others, so you may need to reduce the volume
if you experience distortion.
Auxiliary
1. Plug a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm auxiliary cable into the speaker’s Aux-in port (6) and your device
2. The LED indicator (8) will slowly ash blue
3. Short press Volume– (2) to decrease volume
4. Short press Volume+ (3) to increase volume
Note: Changing track and call handling will not be active during this mode

Care for your BOXI
Please DON’T:
• Submerge the BOXI speaker in water
• Drop the BOXI speaker as this will invalidate your warranty
• Open up the BOXI speaker. There are no user serviceable parts inside
• Expose the BOXI speaker to extreme temperatures or rapid changes of hot to cold
or vice versa
Please DO:
• Clean the BOXI speaker with a soft dry cloth and no detergents

Please do not attempt to open this product. There are no user serviceable parts inside, in particular if your product has
an embedded, non-replaceable battery, do not attempt to access or remove the battery as this may cause personal
injury and will damage the product.
