Dear customer,
Thank you for pur hasing of the applian e KVS MORAVIA built-in system for solid fuel – Fire box
and Oven. We trust that our produ t serves you well. Some important prin iples should be
observed during its operation. Therefore, in your interest, arefully study this manual and operate
the produ t a ording to the given instru tions.
• No flammable liquids should be used when lighting the fire, nor should they be used to
in rease the nominal output of the applian e.
• The applian e should not be used for waste in ineration; only re ommended fuels may be
used.
• During operation, the ash tray door should be losed, and the fire door should only be opened
for lighting the fire or raking the grate in order to prevent flue gas bleeding.
• Ash should be put into non-flammable ash bins with overs! Be very areful during the
removal of hot ash.
• Pay attention to fire safety!
• It is forbidden to use the applian e if it is damaged (unfit for its fun tion)!
• Any ontravention of the operating onditions may ause damage to some parts of the
applian e. It is forbidden to overload the applian e in any way. In ase of the oven inside
temperature ri h over the 300° C the thermometer an be damaged.
• Any repair of the applian e, ex ept leaning and fired laying must only be made by an
authorised worker.
• Lo al regulations, in luding those regulations related to national and European standards,
shall be observed during the installation of the applian e.
• It is re ommended that you only use spare parts approved by the manufa turer.
• Unauthorised modifi ations of the applian e are forbidden.
• The applian e must only be operated by adults, and during operation, the applian e requires
intermittent attendan e and supervision.
• We don’t design or build the Tiled stoves or Dut h onstru tion or ookers for households.
You have to order it from a spe ial supplier.
• The appl ance should be nstalled by an author sed spec al st. No cla ms are accepted
n case of ncorrect or amateur nstallat on.

The TYPE 8111 built-in system has been designed for solid fuel ombustion in periodi feed rates.
This applian e is suitable for short operational periods, so it is not possible to set the permanent-
heat pro ess with a shortest interval of fuel supply of 10 hours. This Firebox and Oven are
produ ing in the left versions of door opening (all hinges are on the right side). The right version is
possible after the doors demounting from the front wall, turning doors round and install them ba k
to the front wall. The handles must be turn after the doors demounting, in luding the oven door
glass with thermometer and gasket. It is re ommended to arry out this mounting before the built-
in system setting.

Fuel
The built-in system has been designed for solid fuel ombustion:
- wood (tested fuel), wooden briquettes, brown oal (lignite), lignite briquettes. Take are that the
fuel used is dry. It is re ommended that you avoid burning high- alorifi fuels whi h redu e the
servi e life of the applian e.
Grate
This applian e has one ast-iron grate in the firebox.
Rak ng
The purpose of the raking is allowing the burned fuel to fall to the ashtray, whi h in reases the
supply of ombustion (primary) air to the ombustion hamber.
A r Supply Control
Controlling the supply of primary ombustion air is enabled by means of the air rose, whi h is a
part of the ashtray door. By handling the rose and shutter it is possible to pre ise ontrol the air
supply and thus affe ts the burning rate of the fuel (applian e output): slow ombustion (the air
supply losed) and fast ombustion (the air supply full opened).
During the operation of the applian e the supply of the ombustion air must be maintained, the air
supply inlet must not be ome blo ked. Me hani al ventilation/ air extra tion must not be used in
the room where the applian e is pla ed, unless there is provided suffi ient air supply for
ventilation (danger of overheating). Ventilation levels are provided in your lo al building
regulations. It is advised to he k ventilation issues with your lo al building ontrol offi e to ensure
trouble free operation
Appl ance operat on
After lighting, lose the fire pla e door and when the fire has aught add more pie es of wood.
When a burning bed of embers has formed you an stoke additional fuel. Be areful not to
smother the fire by stoking a big amount of fuel too qui kly. Carry out refuelling by hand or by
means of a suitable shovel.
The applian e output an be ontrolled by the air supply under and over the grate. From time to
time, purge the grate. If the applian e emits fumes during fuelling, lose the air intake.
The entire area of the fire pla e an be used. Take are that the fuel does not fall out of the fire
pla e. With poor draught onditions or with poor weather onditions you should use small dry
pie es of wood for fuel.
Roast ng
If you want to bake in the applian e, the oven has to be suffi iently heated and thermally
stabilised. Use smaller dry logs for fast firing of the oven.
To ensure even baking/ roasting we re ommend turning the roasting pan around halfway through
the ooking pro ess.

Based on the design solution and the use to whi h the applian e will be put, this solid fuel
applian e must be installed into an environment whi h was defined as ordinary env
ironment (for
example by standard ČSN 33 2000-3:1995 – Environment standard of the Cze h Republi ).
Requirements for ombustion air supply will be met if the applian e is installed in a room with a
minimum volume of 20 m3. A ording to need, the applian e operation or in ombination with the
ontemporary operation of other heat equipment in the room, additional ventilation may be
ne essary. In ases where dangerous situations may arise, su h as the temporary formation of
ombustible gases and works whi h may ause a fire to start (potentially explosive), the applian e
should be put out of servi e (by losing the ombustion hamber door the fuel will be allowed to
burn out on the grate).
During the operation of the applian e with adjustment grills for ombustion, ventilation and heating
air it should be pla ed so as to prevent their blo kage.
Safety nstruct ons
The minimum safe distan e from flammable matters with a ombustibility grade of B, C1, C2 is a
minimum 750 mm forward of the applian e and 200 mm to the sides and. For flammable matters
with C3 ombustibility grade and/ or with an unproven ombustibility grade, the distan e should be
doubled. No flammable obje ts should be laid on the applian e and should be kept at a safe
distan e from it. When the applian e is situated on a floor made of a flammable material, it should
be set on a fireproof, thermo-insulating plate overlapping its se tion plan:
- not less than 600 mm at the front (before the stoke hole)
- not less than 300 mm from the lateral side of the stoke hole.

1. Product on standards
KVS MORAVIA solid fuel applian es are produ ed in a ordan e ČSN EN12815:2002 Standard
with amended A1:2005, whi h is valid for the Cze h Republi and European Union.
2. Installat on and operat on standards
All the above installation and operation instru tions for the applian es primarily omply with the
Cze h regulations, and may not omply fully to individual national regulations at pla e of
installation and use!
The buyer should onsult their installer or spe ialised offi ials on all of the lo al installation and
operation regulations for this applian e or similar applian es!

Do not arry out repairs by yourself if faults o ur during the guarantee period. File a laim in the
shop where the produ t was bought or in a guarantee repair shop and support it with a duly
ompleted guarantee ard. Guarantee laim requests an be set up only in ases where all
guarantee onditions are met.
