SAFETY GUIDANCE
WARNING!!! Caution is never enough: before
installing please
read and follow these important rules:
•Installation of this appliance must conform to local codes, applicable state and law
requirements for smokes in chimney flues. Please remember to ask a specialist to
periodically check the engine in order to ensure an appropriate chimney draft, before and
after combustion. It’s important to let the chimney flue aspire smoke naturally; therefore, it
must be adapted to height and number of curves along the pipe.
•A thorough cleaning of stove and system must be performed at least once a year by the
authorized service center, or warranty will be considered lapsed.
•As the stove needs air consumption for combustion, the stove must be placed near a vent,
besides the one directed to the combustion room.
•Regarding the weight of the stove, before installation make sure that the chosen area is able
to sustain its burden.
•If the floor is made of flammable material like parquet or moquette for instance, place a plate
under it as a ground for the stove (Let the plate extend at least 25/30 cm. beyond the edges
of the stove).
•For your own safety keep at least a 30 cm. distance between hot surrounding panels and
any flammable covering material, such as beaded walls, wallpaper and so on, or else it is
recommended using non-conducting material commercially available.
•Absence of chimney draft (or else obstruction or closure of air inlet grate, or grate itself)
may alter the proper functioning of the stove which, while in automatic ignition, may cause
an excessive pellet dosage in the grate because of the retarded ignition of fire. Immoderate
presence of smoke into combustion room may provoke a violent blaze due to auto ignition of
fumes. It is recommended, in this case, not to open the door of the combustion chamber
•Please avoid using any flammable liquid for fire ignition. .
•Do not touch the glass while stove is on and please be careful before handling it.
•Please don’t leave children alone near the stove when turned on; all its hot sections may
cause severe burns.
•To solve minor problems, do not try to perform any other intervention on this stove except
those recommended in this service guide and remember to disconnect the power source
before doing anything. Even if protected, keep fingers away from propeller and stove auger
(cochlea pipe) when these are working; they could be suddenly crushed or sheared. If you
need to remove a stuck foreign object, please remember to disconnect power source before
and be sure of not being involved in accidents because stove may burn automatically, if so
preset.
•Always check and verify that the combustion chamber’s door is kept perfectly and
hermetically closed during ignition and stove burning.
•Pellet’s automatic ignition is the most delicate phase. In order to execute it without any
problem always keep stove and grate clean.
