INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the Lakeland Dry:Soon Heated Winged Airer.
With over 9m of drying space and quick heat up time, the airer is ready to start
drying your laundry in minutes.
To get the best from your Lakeland Dry:Soon Heated Winged Airer, please take a
few moments to read these instructions, and keep them in a safe place for future
reference.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using this Heated Winged Airer, please follow these basic safety precautions.
1. Please read all instructions before using.
2. Make sure your electricity supply matches the voltage shown on the appliance.
3. The Heated Winged Airer is for household use only. It is not suitable for commercial use, or for
use outdoors. It must only be used for its intended purpose.
4. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or
any other liquid.
5. The appliance must be placed on a level, dry surface at least 1.5 metres away from heat or
water sources.
6. Never pull or carry the Heated Winged Airer by its power cord. Do not allow the power cord to
touch hot surfaces or sharp edges. Do not let it trail over the edges where it may be pulled by
children or tripped over.
7. Always switch off and unplug the Heated Winged Airer after use leaving it to cool down
completely before storing it away. Do not wind the power cord around the Heated Winged Airer.
8. The appliance is not intended for use by children or infirm people unless they have been
adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure they can use it safely. Children should
be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
9. Please do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. Check the power
cord regularly for signs of damage. Never attempt to repair the appliance or replace the cord
yourself as this may lead to severe injury or electric shock. Call the helpline on 015394 88100
to arrange a replacement.

Carefully unpack the Heated Winged Airer and remove any packaging. Place the unit on a level,
dry surface ready for use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Assemble the airer as shown in the diagram above.
2. Plug the airer in and switch on using the on/off switch. The position of the switch is shown in
the diagram above.
3. When you have finished using the airer, switch off and unplug from the power source.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem – the Heated Winged Airer is not heating up.
Solution – check the Heated Winged Airer is plugged in and the on/off switch is illuminated.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
This appliance is fitted with a fused three pin plug to BS1363 which is suitable for use in all homes
fitted with sockets to current specifications. If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it
should be cut off and carefully disposed of. To avoid an electric shock, do not insert the discarded
plug into a socket.
FITTING A NEW PLUG
If for any reason you need to fit a new plug, the flexible mains lead must be connected as shown here.
The wires in the mains lead fitted to this appliance are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Connect BLUE to Neutral (N)
Connect GREEN & YELLOW to Earth (E)
Connect BROWN to Live (L)
13 amp fuse to be used
If the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance do not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows. The wire which is coloured green
and yellow MUST be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter E (Earth) or coloured
green. The wire which is coloured blue MUST be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N (Neutral) or coloured black. The wire which is coloured brown MUST be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L (Live) or coloured red.
Before refitting the plug cover, check that there are no cut or stray strands of wire inside the plug. Use
a 13 amp BS1362 fuse. Only BSI or ASTA approved fuses should be used. If you are at all unsure
which plug or fuse to use, always refer to a qualified electrician.
Note: after replacing or changing a fuse on a moulded plug which has a fuse cover, the cover must
be refitted to the plug; the appliance must not be used without a fuse cover. If lost, replacement fuse
covers can be obtained from an electrical shop. This appliance complies with the following EEC
Directives: 73/23 EEC (Low Voltage Directive) and 89/336 EEC (EMC Directive).

EINFÜHRUNG
Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für den Dry:Soon beheizten Flügelwäschetrockner
von Lakeland entschieden haben. Dank über 9 m Trockenlänge und einer schnellen
Aufwärmzeit beginnt der Wäscheständer bereits nach wenigen Minuten mit dem Trocknen
Ihrer Wäsche.
Für die optimale Verwendung Ihres Dry:Soon beheizten Flügelwäschetrockners von
Lakeland nehmen Sie sich bitte die Zeit, diese Bedienungsanleitung zu lesen. Bewahren
Sie diese für den weiteren Gebrauch sicher auf.

SICHERHEITSVOKEHRUNGEN
Bitte beachten Sie bei der Verwendung des beheizten Flügelwäschetrockners diese grundsätzlichen
Sicherheitsvorkehrungen.
1. Bitte lesen Sie vor Gebrauch die vollständige Anleitung.
2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Stromversorgung mit der auf dem Gerät angegebenen Spannung
übereinstimmt.
3. Der beheizte Flügelwäschetrockner ist ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch vorgesehen. Er ist
nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz oder für die Verwendung im Freien geeignet. Er darf nur für
den vorgesehenen Zweck verwendet werden.
4. Um Stromschläge zu vermeiden, darf das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker nicht in
Wasser oder jegliche andere Flüssigkeiten getaucht werden.
5. Das Gerät muss in einem Abstand von mindestens 1,5 Meter von Wärme- oder Wasserquellen
auf einem ebenen und trockenen Untergrund aufgestellt werden.
6. Ziehen oder tragen Sie den beheizten Flügelwäschetrockner niemals mittels des Netzkabels. Das
Netzkabel darf nicht mit heißen Oberflächen oder scharfen Kanten in Berührung kommen. Lassen
Sie es nicht über die Kanten hängen, damit Kinder nicht daran ziehen oder es eine Stolpergefahr
darstellt.
7. Schalten Sie den beheizten Flügelwäschetrockner nach Gebrauch immer aus und ziehen Sie
das Netzkabel. Lassen Sie ihn vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn verstauen. Wickeln Sie das
Netzkabel nicht um den beheizten Flügelwäschetrockner.
8. Das Gerät ist nicht für die Verwendung durch Kinder oder gebrechliche Personen vorgesehen,
außer diese wurden angemessen durch eine verantwortliche Person über die sichere
Verwendung unterwiesen. Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht
mit dem Gerät spielen.
9. Bitte sehen Sie von der Verwendung des Gerätes ab, wenn dieses fallengelassen oder in
jeglicher Weise beschädigt wurde. Überprüfen Sie das Netzkabel regelmäßig auf Anzeichen
eines Schadens. Nehmen Sie niemals selbst Reparaturen am Gerät vor und wechseln Sie
niemals das Netzkabel selbst aus, da dies schwerwiegende Verletzungen oder Stromschläge zur
Folge haben kann.

Packen Sie den beheizten Flügelwäschetrockner sorgfältig aus und entfernen Sie sämtliche
Verpackungsmaterialien. Stellen Sie ihn auf einer ebenen und trockenen Oberfläche einsatzbereit auf.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG:
1. Montieren Sie den Wäscheständer wie im Schaubild oben dargestellt.
2. Verbinden Sie den Wäscheständer mit dem Stromnetz und schalten Sie ihn mittels des An/Aus-
Schalters ein. Die Position des Schalters ist im Schaubild oben dargestellt.
3. Schalten Sie den Wäscheständer nach Gebrauch aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose heraus.
FEHLERSUCHE
Problem – der beheizte Flügelwäschetrockner heizt nicht auf.
Lösung – überprüfen Sie, ob der beheizte Flügelwäschetrockner mit dem Stromnetz verbunden ist und
ob der An/Aus-Schalter aufleuchtet.
