Kiosk placement
Do not place the device directly :
- Facing the sun or in a location where the sun is directly facing the person
- In front or near an air outlet of an air conditioning or radiator device during measurement
- In front or near to strong infrared emitting light
- In a room where heating/cooling ducts are in the ceiling or directly below ceiling ducts
The above can cause changes to the forehead temperature. Measurements should be
taken in a stable environment.
Do not measure body temperature in an environment with:
- Strong electromagnetic interference (examples include places close to a working
microwave, induction appliances) as EM interference may cause errors in the reading
or even device failure.

Desktop Kiosk set-up
01. Unscrew the safety bolt
from the Kiosk
02. Thread the kiosk cables
through the desktop stand
03. Put the Kiosk into the desktop
base and line kiosk up with the light
on the desktop base
04. Re-screw the safety bolt
back on after attaching the
desktop base

05. Connect the different cables from the desktop base into the Kiosk cables,
there should be an etherent, USB and a power cable to connect. The desktop
stand USB cable should connect to the yellow USB cable on the kiosk.
06. Plug into the mains power
then turn on your Kiosk
07. Enjoy your Kiosk!

Floor stand & kiosk set-up
01. Unscrew the screws from
the bottom of the stand using
the provided allen key
03. Unscrew the safety bolt
from the Kiosk
02. Line up the stand with the
base and reattach screws
04. Unthread the kiosk cables
through the safety bolt

05. Thread the metal plate
through the cables
06. Re-thread the safety bolt
over the cables and secure
onto the kiosk mount
07. Connect the cables from the floor stand to the kiosk cables. There is an ethernet,
USB cable and power cable to connect. The floor stand USB cable should connect to
the yellow USB cable on the kiosk.

08. Using the allen key provided screw all 4
screws into the metal plate and floor stand
09. Connect kiosk to mains power
and press power button
10. Enjoy your kiosk!

04. Unthread the kiosk cables
through the safety bolt
03. Unscrew the safety bolt
from the Kiosk

01. Unscrew the screws from
the bottom of the stand using
the provided allen key
02. Line up the stand with the
base and reattach screws

05. Thread the metal plate that comes
with the the printer mount through the
cables (not the original metal plate that
was on the floor stand)
06. Re-thread the safety bolt
over the cables and secure
onto the kiosk mount

07. Access the bottom of the floor stand and thread the printer
power supply up the kiosk till it joins the other cables

09. Before securing the metal plate, thread the printer cables (USB and power)
through and line up with the two holes on the metal plate
08. Connect the cables from the floor stand to the kiosk cables. There is an ethernet,
USB cable and power cable to connect. The floor stand USB cable should connect
to the yellow USB cable on the kiosk. Also connect the USB cable supplied with the
badge printer to the the white USB cable on the kiosk.

10. Using the allen key provided screw all 4 screws into the base
plate and floor stand
11. Unscrew the cable tidy slot so
you can access the holes to attach
the mount to the kiosk
12. Attach the mount to the
stand using the screws from
the package

13. Re-attach the cable tidy 14. Remove the feet on the bottom of
the badge printer. These may be glued
on so may be difficult to remove
15. Remove the screws from
the base plate on the printer
but leave plate in place
16. Connect the USB cable and power
cable to the badge printer.
