VEHICLE WARM-UP –IGNITION
Safety Measures to adopt during the heating phase

•Lift the car with the jacks
•Use the Air Jack piston stops to stop the vehicle falling or in the event of
leaks (or operator error)
•To rotate the wheels use the rims with tyres fitted, ensuring that the retaining
nuts are properly tight.
•Otherwise, use the specific counterweights supplied by Lamborghini, always
fixed with the single fixing nut properly tight.
•Absolutely do not rotate the gearbox and rear hubs without the wheels or the
counterweights: this could cause serious damage to people or property.
•During this procedure, it is essential that people should be at a due distance
and in safety to avoid serious damage to people or property.
Gbox Warm-up

-ABS knob pos 1: ABS OFF
-Drive in all gears from 1 to 6 (remember to use the clutch just to engage and
disengage 1st gear)
-Spinning wheels by high gears create a little load on the transmission by brake
pedal
-At the end to complete the right procedure remember to do a power recycle for
ABS, switching off the power by the master switch and increase the ABS knob
position.
-Red led ABS stays on even you roll the wheels driving on the pit road
-If the warning is still on after pitlane take care, slow down, because ABS probably
doesn’ t work.

Engine Warm-up
Inserire icone Sicurezza vers. USA
•Activate main battery switch.
•Activate the ECU button. (the green LED lights up)
•Position the ABS switch in position 1ABS OFF. This will light up both the warning
light on the dashboard and an alarm light, also on the dashboard.
•Hold down the start button until you see the engine oil pressure on the dashboard
rise to about 2 bar.
•Press the ignition button. (the green LED lights up)
•Press the start button (don't push accelerator pedal) until the engine starts, and
then release it.
•Bring the H2O temperature displayed on the dashboard up to about 40°.
•Engage first gear and all the others until you reach 6th gear (see "Safety
precautions to be taken as the car warms up").
•Run the engine with 6th gear engaged until the H2O temperature reaches 90°.
•Take the transmission back into neutral.
•Switch the car off by pressing the Ignition button again.
•After warming up the gearbox, perform a power cycle and move the rotary switch to
the position required for track use (from 2 to 12).
•The alarm light will remain on until 12 km/h is reached on all 4 wheels. When this
consistency check has been passed, the light will turn off.
IMPORTANT:

Camber adjustment
Under no circumstances the Camber shall exceed the maximum values of:
Front: 0° up to -3,0° (tolerance +/- 5’)
Rear: 0° up to -3,5° (tolerance +/- 5’)
It is also allowed to adjust the camber, within the permitted limit values, by adding
and removing the steel spacers, only between the suspension upper levers and the
frame.
Variation: 4mm of shims upper levers (front/rear) = 1° of camber
