before using your product, particularly
these basic safety instructions.

The hearing amplier is only to be used to help people
to hear better. The device is only intended for the
purpose described in these instructions for use. The
manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from
improper or careless use.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR DEVICE
The hearing amplier is a device to help people hear
better. It does this by amplifying sounds and then
transmitting these to the ear. The hearing amplier
can neither prevent nor alleviate organically caused
hearing loss. The hearing amplier oers you a variety
of applications. Regardless of whether you want
to watch a lm, chat with friends or just feel like
listening to the sounds of nature in the woods, the
hearing amplier helps you to hear sounds louder
and more clearly.
WARNING AND SAFETY NOTES
You must have your hearing checked by a doctor or
qualied hearing amplier acoustician before using
the hearing amplier. The settings of the hearing
amplier should only be adjusted by a trained expert,
for example an ENT specialist, an audiologist or a
qualied hearing amplier retailer.
In the event of an existing or previous ear problem,
you should consult your doctor before using the
hearing amplier.
The device must NOT be used for patients suering
from an ear inammation or infection.
Do NOT use the hearing amplier if you are suering
from an inammation of the middle ear or ear canal.
If you feel unwell or experience pain when wearing
the hearing amplier, stop using it immediately and
contact your doctor.
If your ear becomes inamed or your skin irritated
or you experience an increased accumulation of ear
wax when wearing the hearing amplier, stop using
it immediately and contact your doctor.
Stop using the hearing amplier and seek medical
attention if the following occurs:
• Rash or eczema on areas of skin that come into
contact with the hearing amplier. (The parts of
the hearing amplier that come into contact with
areas of skin are made from a material that is kind
to the skin. In rare cases, however, allergic reactions
may occur that appear in the form of eczema. )

The hearing amplier is a device to help people hear

If parts of the hearing amplier become stuck in the

At rst, set the volume to a low setting and increase
it gradually once you have become accustomed to
the hearing amplier.
Do NOT set the volume control too high, as this may
cause further damage to hearing over an extended
period of time. This is particularly important to note,
as the device achieves a high output power.
Do NOT lend your hearing amplier to others or use
the hearing ampliers of others, as there is a risk of
hearing damage and infection.
Do NOT pass on your hearing amplier for use by
other persons. The use of a hearing amplier that was
designed for someone else may cause hearing damage.

The hearing amplier is NOT suitable for use for small
children below the age of 36 months.
It is particularly dicult to diagnose hearing problems
in children. Children should only be provided with
a hearing amplier following a thorough inspection
by an ENT specialist.
Keep the hearing amplier, the accessories and the
batteries away from children, as there is a risk of
injury and choking.
This device is NOT intended for use by people (in-
cluding children) with restricted physical, sensory
or mental skills or a lack of experience and/or a lack
of knowledge, unless they are supervised by a per-
son who has responsibility for their safety or they
receive instructions from this person on how to use
the device. Supervise children around the device to
ensure they do not play with it.
Do NOT use the hearing amplier in potentially ex-
plosive and hazardous environments.
Do NOT use the device in oxygen-rich environments
and over an extended period of time.
Please contact the manufacturer in the event of the
following:
• if you require assistance in the set-up, use or main-
tenance of the hearing amplier; or
• if the device behaves unexpectedly during oper-
ation or otherwise.
If you have any doubts, do NOT use a damaged hear-
ing amplier; contact your retailer or the specied
Customer Services address.
Switch the device o immediately if it is faulty or not
working properly.
Do not attempt to open and/or repair the hearing
amplier yourself. Repairs may only be carried out by
Customer Services or authorised retailers. Failure to
comply will result in voiding of the warranty.
IMPORTANT
Do NOT wear the hearing amplier in the vicinity of
strong electromagnetic elds or X-rays.
Do NOT wear the hearing amplier while bathing,
showering or swimming.
Protect the device from impacts, humidity, dirt,
marked temperature uctuations, direct sunlight
and high levels of air humidity.
High temperatures may develop in closed vehicles
during summer. You should therefore never leave
your hearing amplier inside a vehicle.
Do NOT drop the device or subject it to any shocks.
If the hearing amplier falls into water, dry it with
a cloth and then have it inspected by your retailer.
Never attempt to dry the hearing amplier in a mi-
crowave, a tumble dryer or with a hair dryer. The
hearing amplier may otherwise become damaged.
Do NOT use the hearing amplier together with a
mobile phone. (The radio waves of the mobile phone
may cause background noise or a loss of volume. )
Do NOT wear the hearing amplier while applying cos-
metics (e. g. makeup, hairspray, perfume or sun cream).

Take care when operating the switch and controller.
Do NOT press too rmly.
Do not insert any sharp objects into the microphone
opening as this may damage the microphone.
Do NOT touch the magnets of the hearing amplier
as this may damage the device.
Do NOT touch the inside of the device. There are
many sensitive parts that have been precisely con-
gured. Under no circumstances should you poke
at the inside of the hearing amplier with a needle
or similar object.
Service your hearing amplier at regular intervals.
Make sure there are no foreign objects in between
the earplug and headphones, as this could impair
the sound.

INITIAL USE AND OPERATION
Remove the hearing amplier from the packaging
and check that the device and all accessories are
included and not damaged.
01 Open the battery compartment on the
hearing amplier as shown. [2]
02 Insert the button cell batteries (A13) included
in the delivery into the battery compartment
as shown. Ensure that the correct polarity
(/ ) is observed. [3]
03 Close the battery compartment
again. Now connect your desired
earplug to the headphones. [4]
Make sure the volume control is
initially set to the lowest setting before
operating the hearing amplier.
04 Bring the hearing amplier up to your ear as
shown. Slowly insert the earplug into your
ear canal applying no force. Make sure not to
insert the earplug too deeply into the ear canal.
If the earplug is not properly in place or feels
uncomfortable, try a dierent earplug. [5]
05 Use the volume control to adjust the
volume to the desired level so that you can
hear sounds clearly and distinctly. [6]
06 Volume Control Mode switch and On/o.
Press side enable the volume increase.
Press side enable the volume decrease. In
turning on state, it is slow-frequency sound
in normal environment. Press the MODE
key to switch to high pitch, and press
again to switch to bass. Insert the battery
and close the battery compartment, it is
switch on. To open the battery compartment
is enough to completely switch o.
Adjust the volume to the lowest before use.
After the right wearing, adjust the volume to
a proper magnitude, or your audition will be
weaken. If you hear a slight whistling sound
when wearing the sound amplier, check that
your earplug is tted properly in your ear. If it
is not snug enough, use a dierent earplug.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Always keep the hearing amplier clean.
Remove the batteries from the device each time
before cleaning.
Please always treat the product with care and prevent
the earplug and acoustic opening from becoming
obstructed with foreign matter. This impairs the
function of the sound amplication.
Clean the hearing amplier and the earplugs with a
clean, dry cloth after each use. If they are very dirty,
you can also moisten the cloth with a mild soapy solu-

DISPOSAL
Notes on handling batteries
If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery
uid, rinse the aected areas with water and seek
medical assistance.
Choking hazard! Small children may swallow and
choke on batteries. Store the batteries out of the
reach of small children.
Observe the plus and minus polarity signs.
If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and
clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a re.
If the device is not to be used for a relatively long peri-
od, take the batteries out of the battery compartment.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Do not disassemble, open or crush the batteries.
If you are not using the hearing amplier, switch it o,
remove the batteries and store it in the storage box.
Batteries must NOT be short-circuited.
Normal batteries must NOT be charged (risk of
explosion)!
Battery disposal
The empty, completely at batteries must be disposed
of through specially designated collection boxes,
recycling points or electronics retailers. You are legally
required to dispose of the batteries.
The codes below are printed on batteries containing
harmful substances:
• Pb = Battery contains lead,
• Cd = Battery contains cadmium,
• Hg = Battery contains mercury.
General disposal
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the
device in the household waste at the end of its useful
life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection
or recycling point. Dispose of the device in accord-
ance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions,

The earpiece of the hearing amplier does not
t correctly in the ear, meaning that the hearing
amplier may not function correctly in certain
circumstances or an unpleasant whistling
sound (acoustic feedback) can be heard. This
can be prevented in the following ways:
Switch o the hearing amplier and insert it
into the ear. Ensure that it is inserted correctly.
If the earpiece does not t correctly in the

LIMITED WARRANTY
LANAFORM guarantees this product against any
material or manufacturing defect for a period of
two years from the date of purchase, except in the
circumstances described below.
The LANAFORM guarantee does not cover damage
caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In
addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM
product does not cover damage caused by abusive
or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use
of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the
product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort,
that is outside LANAFORM’s control.
LANAFORM may not be held liable for any type of
circumstantial, indirect or specic damage.
All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of
the product are limited to a period of two years from
the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the
proof of purchase can be supplied.
On receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your
appliance at its discretion and will return it to you.
The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM’s
Service Centre. Any attempt to maintain this product
by a person other than LANAFORM’s Service Centre
will render this guarantee void.

Si vous vous sentez mal ou ressentez des douleurs
lors du port de l’amplicateur auditif, arrêtez immé-
diatement de l'utiliser et contactez votre médecin.
Si votre oreille présente une inammation, que votre
peau est irritée ou qu'une quantité plus importante
de cérumen s'accumule lorsque vous portez l’ampli-
cateur auditif, arrêtez immédiatement de l’utiliser
et contactez votre médecin.
Arrêtez d'utiliser l'amplicateur auditif et consultez

perte d'audition d'origine organique. L'amplicateur
auditif ore une grande variété d’applications. Que
vous vouliez regarder un lm, discuter avec des amis
ou que vous ayez juste envie d’écouter les bruits de
la nature dans les bois, l'amplicateur auditif restitue
des sons plus forts et plus clairs.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Votre audition doit être contrôlée par un médecin
ou un acousticien qualié en amplication auditive
avant d'utiliser l’amplicateur auditif. Les réglages
de l’amplicateur auditif doivent exclusivement être
eectués par un spécialiste formé à cet eet, par
exemple un ORL, un audiologiste ou un revendeur
qualié d'amplicateurs auditifs.

En cas de problème d'audition présent ou passé,
vous devez consulter votre médecin avant d'utiliser
l’amplicateur auditif.
Le dispositif NE doit PAS être utilisé par des patients
sourant d'une inammation ou d'une infection
de l'oreille.
N’utilisez PAS l’amplicateur auditif si vous souf-
frez d'une inammation de l’oreille moyenne ou
du conduit auditif.
Si vous vous sentez mal ou ressentez des douleurs
lors du port de l’amplicateur auditif, arrêtez immé-
diatement de l'utiliser et contactez votre médecin.
Si votre oreille présente une inammation, que votre
peau est irritée ou qu'une quantité plus importante
de cérumen s'accumule lorsque vous portez l’ampli-
cateur auditif, arrêtez immédiatement de l’utiliser
et contactez votre médecin.
Arrêtez d'utiliser l'amplicateur auditif et consultez
un médecin dans les cas suivants :
• Éruption cutanée ou eczéma sur les zones de la
peau qui entrent en contact avec l’amplicateur
auditif. (Les composants de l’amplicateur auditif
qui entrent en contact avec la peau sont fabriqués
dans un matériau qui respecte la peau. Toutefois,
dans de rares cas, des réactions allergiques peuvent
apparaître sous forme d’eczéma. )
• Le port de l’amplicateur auditif provoque des
écoulements et/ou nécessite un traitement de
l’oreille.
• Baisse soudaine et considérable de l'acuité au-
ditive.
Si des composants de l’amplicateur auditif restent
coincés dans l’oreille, consultez immédiatement un
médecin. N’essayez pas de les retirer vous-même.
Au début, réglez le volume assez bas et augmen-
tez-le progressivement une fois que vous vous êtes
habitué(e) à l’amplicateur auditif.
NE réglez PAS le volume trop haut car cela pourrait
provoquer des dommages auditifs supplémentaires
sur une période d'utilisation prolongée. Il est impor-

N’essayez pas d'ouvrir et/ou de réparer l’amplicateur
auditif vous-même. Les réparations doivent uni-
quement être eectuées par le service après-vente
ou des revendeurs agréés. Le non-respect de cette
obligation rendra la garantie caduque.
IMPORTANT
NE portez PAS l'amplicateur auditif à proximité de
champs électromagnétiques forts ou d'appareils
de radiographie.
NE portez PAS l'amplicateur auditif en prenant un
bain, une douche ou en nageant.
Protégez le dispositif des impacts, de l’humidité,
de la poussière, des uctuations de température
importantes, de la lumière directe du soleil et des
taux élevés d'humidité dans l’air.
La température peut monter considérablement
dans un véhicule fermé en été. Vous ne devez donc
tant que vous gardiez cela à l’esprit car le dispositif
possède une puissance de sortie élevée.
NE prêtez PAS votre amplicateur auditif et n'utilisez
pas les amplicateurs auditifs d'autres personnes car il
existe un risque de dommages auditifs et d'infection.
NE passez PAS votre amplicateur à d'autres per-
sonnes pour qu’elles l'utilisent. Le port d'un ampli-
cateur auditif qui a été conçu pour quelqu'un d'autre
peut causer des dommages auditifs.
L'amplicateur auditif NE convient PAS à de jeunes
enfants âgés de moins de 36 mois.
Il est particulièrement dicile de diagnostiquer des
problèmes d'audition chez les enfants. Les enfants ne
doivent porter un amplicateur auditif qu’après un
examen minutieux pratiqué par un ORL.
Conservez l'amplicateur auditif, les accessoires et
les piles hors de portée des enfants car il existe un
risque de blessure et d'étouement.
Ce dispositif n’est PAS destiné à être utilisé par des
personnes (notamment des enfants) dont les ca-
pacités physiques, sensorielles ou intellectuelles
sont limitées, ou par des personnes manquant d’ex-
périence ou de connaissances, à moins qu’elles ne
soient surveillées par une personne responsable de
leur sécurité ou qu’elles n’aient reçu des instructions
préalables concernant l’utilisation du dispositif. Sur-

téléphonez avec un portable. (Les ondes radio du
téléphone portable pourraient créer un bruit de fond
ou provoquer une perte de volume. )
NE portez PAS l'amplicateur auditif pendant l’ap-
plication de produits cosmétiques (ex. : maquillage,
laque, parfum ou crème solaire).
NE portez PAS l’amplicateur auditif lorsque vous
êtes traité(e) par diathermie à ondes courtes ou re-
pacités physiques, sensorielles ou intellectuelles
sont limitées, ou par des personnes manquant d’ex-
périence ou de connaissances, à moins qu’elles ne

Assurez-vous que le contrôle du volume
est initialement réglé au plus bas avant
d'utiliser l'amplicateur auditif.
04 Approchez l’amplicateur auditif de votre
oreille comme indiqué. Insérez lentement
l’embout auriculaire dans votre conduit
auditif sans forcer. Veillez à ne pas l’insérer
trop profondément dans le conduit auditif.
Si l’embout auriculaire n’est pas en place
ou vous gêne, essayez-en un autre. [5]
05 Utilisez le contrôle de volume pour régler le
volume au niveau souhaité an de pouvoir en-
tendre les sons de façon claire et distincte. [6]
06 Contrôle du volume, touche Mode et Marche/
Arrêt Appuyez sur pour augmenter le
volume. Appuyez sur pour diminuer le
volume. Au démarrage, l'amplicateur est réglé
sur les sons basse fréquence en environnement
normal. Appuyez sur la touche MODE pour
passer en haute fréquence (aigus) et appuyez
à nouveau pour revenir aux graves. Insérez les
cevez des traitements médicaux sujets à des champs
radiofréquences ou magnétiques puissants.
Faites attention lorsque vous utilisez l’interrupteur
et le contrôle du volume. N'appuyez PAS trop fer-
mement.
N’insérez pas d’objets pointus dans l’orice du mi-
crophone sous peine de l’endommager.
NE touchez PAS les aimants de l’amplicateur auditif
sous peine d’endommager le dispositif.
NE touchez PAS l’intérieur du dispositif. Il comporte
de nombreux composants sensibles qui ont été
précisément congurés. Vous ne devez sous aucun
prétexte glisser une aiguille ou un objet similaire à
l’intérieur de l’amplicateur auditif.
Assurez l’entretien de votre amplicateur auditif à
intervalles réguliers. Veillez à ce qu’aucun corps étran-
ger ne passe entre l’embout auriculaire et l’écouteur
car cela pourrait altérer le son.

vériez que le dispositif et tous ses accessoires sont
présents et ne sont pas endommagés.
01 Ouvrez le compartiment à piles de l’am-
plicateur auditif comme indiqué. [2]
02 Insérez les piles boutons (A13) fournies
avec le dispositif dans le compartiment
à piles comme indiqué. Veillez à bien
respecter la polarité (/ ). [3]
03 Refermez le compartiment à piles. À
présent, placez les embouts auriculaires
souhaités sur les écouteurs. [4]

utilisation. Une fois que l'amplicateur est bien
en place, réglez le volume à un niveau adéquat
ou votre acuité auditive baissera. Si vous
entendez un léger siement lorsque vous portez
l’amplicateur de son, vériez que votre embout
auriculaire est bien ajusté dans votre oreille. S'il
ne tient pas bien, utilisez un autre embout.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
Veillez à ce que l’amplicateur auditif soit toujours propre.
Retirez les piles du dispositif avant chaque nettoyage.
Manipulez toujours ce produit avec soin et évitez que
l’embout auriculaire et l’orice acoustique ne soient
obstrués par des corps étrangers Car cela altère la
fonction d'amplication des sons
Nettoyez l'amplicateur auditif et les embouts auri-
culaires avec un chion propre et sec après chaque

Pour des raisons environnementales, ne jetez pas
le dispositif avec les déchets ménagers à la n de
sa vie utile. Déposez-le dans un point de collecte
ou de recyclage local adapté. Sa mise au rebut doit
se faire en conformité avec la Directive européenne
relative aux déchets d’équipements électriques et
électroniques (DEEE). Pour toute question, veuillez
contacter les autorités locales responsables de la
mise au rebut des déchets.

MISE AU REBUT
Consignes pour la manipulation des piles
Si votre peau ou vos yeux entrent en contact avec le
liquide des piles, rincez les zones concernées à l’eau
et consultez un médecin.
Risque d’étouement ! Les jeunes enfants peuvent
avaler les piles et s’étouer. Conservez les piles hors
de portée des jeunes enfants.
Respectez les polarités : signes plus et moins .
Si une pile a fui, enlez des gants de protection et
nettoyez le compartiment à piles avec un chion sec.
Risque d’explosion ! Ne jetez jamais les piles au feu.
Si le dispositif ne doit pas être utilisé pendant une
période relative longue, retirez les piles de leur
compartiment.
N'utilisez pas de piles rechargeables.
Vous ne devez ni démonter, ni ouvrir, ni écraser
les piles.
Si vous n'utilisez pas l’amplicateur auditif, étei-
gnez-le, retirez les piles et rangez-le dans sa boîte.
Les piles NE doivent PAS être court-circuitées.
Des piles normales NE doivent PAS être chargées
(risque d’explosion) !
Mise au rebut des piles
Les piles vides, complètement déchargées doivent
être déposées dans des collecteurs conçus à cet eet,
des points de recyclage ou chez des revendeurs
d’équipements électroniques. Vous avez l’obligation
légale de les mettre au rebut.
