THE ASPEN
Assembly Instructions
The Aspen Outdoor Fireplace can be used to burn
firewood or to cook with charcoal.
To burn firewood:
1) Remove cooking grate and set off to the side out of
the way.
2) Place firewood inside the hearth on the bottom,
arrange firewood for optimum results and light.
3) Keep door screen panel closed at all times to avoid
popping embers.
To cook with charcoal:
1) Place desired amount of charcoal in a pile in the
center of the hearth and light.
2) Once charcoal has turned gray, spread charcoal
out evenly.
3) Carefully place cooking grate inside the hearth and
begin cooking.

• THE ASPEN OUTDOOR FIREPLACE IS FOR ADULT USE ONLY.
• DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME WHILE IN USE.
• KEEP ALL SCREENS IN PLACE WHILE IN USE.
• KEEP THE ASPEN OUTDOOR FIREPLACE AWAY FROM
BUILDINGS, FLAMMABLE ITEMS AND VEHICLES.
• DO NOT USE IN WINDY CONDITIONS.
• DO NOT OVERLOAD OR USE TO BURN LEAVES OR
GARBAGE.
• USE CAUTION WHEN TENDING THE FIRE, AS SURFACES
WILL BE HOT WHILE IN USE.
• DO NOT MOVE THE ASPEN OUTDOOR FIREPLACE WHILE IN
USE.
• USE ONLYON BRICK, CONCRETE OR ROCK SURFACES.
• DO NOT USE ON LAWNS OR WOODEN DECKS.
• BEFORE EACH USE MAKE SURE THE ASPEN OUTDOOR
FIREPLACE IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION AND NO
BOLTS HAVE WORKED LOOSE.
• USE CAUTION AFTER CHARCOAL OR FIREWOOD HAS
BEEN EXTINGUISHED, SURFACES WILL REMAIN HOT FOR
SOME TIME.

• (4) Pillars
• (3) Fixed screen panels
• (1) Door screen panel
• (1) Lid
• (1) Top cap
• (1) Grill grate
• (24) 1/2” bolts
• (24) Washers
• (24) Nuts

4Place the top cap on the lid.
Start by attaching the
four pillars to the base
using two bolts, washers
and nuts. Make sure
the washers are between
the bolt head and the
enamel finish on the
outside. Leave loose
so adjustment can be
made later.

Attach the three fixed screen
panels and the door screen
panel to the inside of the pillars
using four bolts, washers and
nuts. Make sure the washers
are between the bolt head
and the enamel finish on
the outside. Once all screen
panels are attached to the
pillars, tighten all screen panels
and pillar bolts securely.

3Align the lid with the four
pillar pins and place lid on
pillars.
Slide ash drawer in base cavity.
