1. MAINSPOWERSUPPLY


ThisSetTopBoxshouldonlybeusedwiththepowersupplysuppliedwithit,orof
thesamespecifications.Theuseofanincorrectpowersupplycancausedamageto
thedeviceorpersonalinjury.Disconnectthedevicefromthemainsbeforestarting
theinstillationprocedureormaintenance.

2. OVERLOADING

Donotoverloadthewalloutlet,extensioncord,powerboardoradaptorasthismay
resultinelectricshockorfire.

3. LIQUIDS

Thisdeviceshouldnotbeexposedtoliquidsofanytype.Pleaseensurethattheset
topboxisplacedinadryarea.Donotallowanycontainerholdingliquidstobe
placedonornearthisdevice.

4. CLEANING

TurntheSettopboxoffandthendisconnectthepowersupplyfromthewallbefore
cleaning.Useasoftdampclothonlyontheoutercaseofthisdevice.Donotuse
solventsofanytypetocleanthisproduct.

5. VENTILATION

Theventilationslotsonthetopofthisdevicemustbeleftuncoveredtoallowproper
airflowthroughtheunit.Donotstandthedeviceonsoftfurnishingsorcarpets.Do
notstandotherelectronicdeviceonthisdevice.

6. CONNECTINGTOTHEAERIALORTHETV

Turnthedeviceoffanddisconnectfromthemainsbeforeconnectingor
disconnectingthecablefromtheaerialorTV.

FailuretodosomaydamagetheTV,SetTopBoxorsignalamplifier(ifinstalled).




adequateventilationandairflowaroundthedevice.
•Onlyplacethesettopboxonastablesurfaceawayfromtheedge.Dropping
thesettopboxmaydamagethedeviceorcausepersonalinjury.


Turnthesettopboxoffatthewallanddisconnecttheaerialduringthunderstorms
ofitthedeviceistobeleftunattendedorunusedforlongperiods.Thiswillprevent
damagetothedeviceduetolightningstrikesand/orpowersurges.



Donotallowobjectsofanytypetobeinsertedthroughtheventilationslotsonthe
toporbottomofthedevice.Objectsinsertedintothecasemaybeexposedtohigh
voltageandcausepersonalinjury,damagetothedeviceorfire.


Authorisedserviceagentmustcarryoutallwarrantywork.Anyworkperformedon
thisdevicebyanunauthorisedpersonorcompanywillvoidthewarranty.Afterthe
warrantyperiod,pleaseensurethataqualifiedtechniciancompletesanyworkand
onlycorrectpartsareused.


fittedbatteriesmaycausedamagetotheremote.
Ifthesettopboxisnottobeusedforextendedperiodsremovethebatteriesfrom
theremote.
Checktheconditionofthebatteriesonaregularbasis.Damagecausedbybattery
