Please read this instruction manual carefully and familiarize yourself with your new steam
iron. Before using the first time, please retain this manual for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your iron, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
Make sure the power used corresponds with the one indicated on the rating label.
Use the iron only for needed use as descried in the instruction manual.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Do not
leave iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board. Burns can occur from
touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of
age.
This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
The iron should never be left unattended while it is connected to the mains supply .
The plug must be removed from the sock-outlet before the water reservoir is filled
with water.
Unplug the iron from the mains electrical supply before:
1) Cleaning
2) Filling with water or emptying the water tank
3) Immediately after use
Never operate the iron with damaged power cord or plug, or after it has fallen or been
damaged in any way. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron,
take it to a qualified serviceman for examination and repair.
Do not let cord touch hot surfaces.
To protect against a risk of electric hazards, do not immerse the iron in water or any
other liquid.

The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is
placed is stable.
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage
or if it is leaking.
BEFORE FIRST USE
It is normal for small amount of smoke to be produced the first time,this will quickly
disappear.
When using the steam function for the first time, do not direct the steam towards the
laundry, as there could be debris from the steam vents.
FILLING WITH WATER
We recommend the use of distilled water.
Make sure that both the Steam Control turning Knob and Temperature Control Dial
are in “OFF” position.
Hold the iron upright so that the water-filling inlet is in a horizontal position.
Fill with water through Water Filling Inlet until the water reach the “MAX” mark
indicated on the side of the iron, and never fill above this mark.
SETTING TEMPERATURE
Follow the ironing instructions on the garment label. If there is no instruction but you do
know the kind of fabric, please consult the following table.
Note: If the fabric consists of various kinds of fabrics, always select the temperature
required by the most delicate fabrics.

STEAM IRONING
Place the iron in a vertical position and set the temperature control dial at the
minimum/low heat setting.
Insert the plug into the socket, and then turn the temperature control dial to the “high
heat” marking. The pilot light will come on, indicating that the iron is heating up.
When the pilot light turns off, the set temperature has been reached and the iron is
ready to use.
During ironing, the pilot light on the iron automatically switches on/off as the
thermostat maintains the set temperature(you may continue ironing during this

process).
Turn the steam control turning knob to the required position.
Steam is produced as soon as the iron in held horizontally.
SPRAYING
Press the spray button to spray water on clothes, as often as required.
Note: When using the water spray function, ensure that there is enough water in the
water tank, and you may have to pump the spray button serval times at first time you use
the iron in order to start the spraying function.
BURST OR VERTICAL STEAM IRONING
Press the burst of Steam button to generate a powerful burst of steam that can
penetrate the fabrics and smooth the most difficult and tough creases. Wait for a few
seconds before pressing again.
By pressing the Burst of Steam Button at intervals you can also iron vertically
(curtain,hung garments, etc.)
Note: The burst steam function can only be used at high temperature. Stop the emission
when the pilot light turns on, then start ironing again only after the pilot light has turned
off.
DRY IRONING
For ironing without steam, follow the instruction in section “steam ironing”, however, the
steam control turning knob should remain in position “OFF” (no steam).
SELF-CLEANING
Only press the self-clean button when you want to active the self cleaning system. Never
press the self-clean button when ironing
The self-clean function removes scale and impurities. Use the self-clean function once
every two weeks. If the water in your area is very hard, the self clean function should be
used more frequently.
1. Ensure your iron is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply socket.
2. Set the steam control to the off position and fill your iron with water to MAX level.
3. Stand your iron on its heel rest, plug in and switch on at the mains supply. And select
the MAX temperature.
4. Unplug your iron and hold it over a sink with the soleplate facing downwards when the
temperature reached max.
5. Press and hold the self-clean button. Hot water and steam will be ejected from the
holes in the soleplate along with any impurities.
6. Release the self clean button after one minute or when the water tank is empty.

7. Stand your iron on its heel rest, plug it in to the mains supply socket and switch on.
Select the MAX temperature, allow your iron to heat up. Iron an old piece of cloth to allow
any remaining water to escape.
ANTI-CALC SYSTEM
A special filter inside the water tank softens the water and prevents scale build-up in the
soleplate. The filter is permanent and does not need replacing.
Note:Use tap water only. Distilled and demineralized water makes the anti-calc system
ineffective by altering its physicochemical characteristics.
HOW TO CLEAN AND STORE
After using, lift the iron with the filling hole downwards to empty the remaining water
from the Water tank.
Insert the plug into the socket, and set the Temperature Control Dial to “MAX” for 1-2
minutes to evaporate the remaining water, and then unplug the iron and let it cool
down before storing it.
ATTENTION:
When the plug connecting with the power socket, the user is not allowed to leave.
When the power cord is damaged, contact your dealers or an authorized service center
for repair.
In case of any repairs, replacement of cord or plug, or adjustment, please consult a
qualified technician, or take appliance to an authorized service facility.

Cuando utilice aparatos eléctricos, debe seguir siempre las instrucciones de seguridad
básicas, entre las que se incluyen:.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
Cuando se utiliza la plancha ASI116, las precauciones básicas de seguridad siempre se
deben seguir:
Antes de usar este producto, por favor compruebe el voltaje que tiene sea el mismo
que el de los enchufes de su hogar.
Utilice la plancha sólo para uso necesario como describe eln el manual de
instrucciones.
Se requiere supervisión cuando el aparato sea utilizado cerca de los niños. No deje
la plancha sin supervisión mientras esté conectada o en una tabla de planchar.
Pueden ocasionarse quemaduras al tocar partes metálicas calientes, agua caliente o
vapor.
Este aparato pueden utilizarlo niños con edad de 8 años y superior y personas
con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas o falta de
experiencia y conocimiento, si se les ha dado la supervisión o formación
apropiadas respecto al uso del aparato de una manera segura y comprenden
los peligros que implica.
Mantener el aparato y su conexión de red fuera del alcance de los niños
menores de 8 años.
Este aparato no es un juguete. Los niños deben estar bajo vigilancia para
asegurar que no jueguen con el aparato.
La plancha ASI116 no debe dejarse nunca desatendida mientras esté conectada a la
red eléctrica.
El enchufe debe ser retirado de la toma de corriente antes de que el depósito de
agua se llene.
Desconecte la plancha ASI116 de la red eléctrica antes de:
1) Limpiarla
2) Llenar de agua o vaciar el depósito
3) Inmediatamente después de su uso
Nunca utilice la plancha si el cable de alimentación o enchufe está estropeado, o

después de haberse caído o haber sido dañada de alguna manera. Para evitar el
riesgo de electrocución eléctrica, no desarme la plancha, llévela a un técnico
cualificado para su revisión y reparación.
No deje que el cable toque superficies calientes.
Para evitar el riesgo de los peligros eléctricos, no sumerja la plancha en agua o
cualquier otro líquido.
La plancha debe ser utilizada y apoyada sobre una superficie estable.
Al fijar la plancha en su soporte, asegúrese de que la superficie sobre la que se
colocará el soporte es estable.
La plancha no debe ser utilizada si se ha caído, si hay signos visibles de daños o si
tiene fugas.
ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
Es normal que se produzca una pequeña cantidad de humo la primera vez, este
desaparecerá rápidamente.
Cuando utilice la función de vapor, por primera vez, no dirija el vapor hacia la ropa,
ya que podría haber restos de los respiraderos de vapor.
LLENADO CON AGUA
Se recomienda el uso de agua destilada.
Asegúrese de que tanto el dial de control de vapor como el dial de control de
temperatura están en posición "OFF".
Mantenga la plancha en posición vertical de modo que la entrada de llenado de agua
está en una posición horizontal.
Se llena con agua a través de la ranura del depósito de agua hasta que el agua
alcance el nivel "MAX" indicado en el lado de la plancha, y nunca llene por encima
de esa marca.
TEMPERATURA DE AJUSTE
Siga las instrucciones de planchado en la etiqueta de la prenda. Si no hay ninguna
instrucción, pero usted conoce el tipo de tejido, por favor consulte la siguiente tabla.
Nota: Si la tela se compone de diversos tipos de tejidos, siempre seleccionar la
temperatura requerida por los tejidos más delicados

PLANCHADO A VAPOR
Coloque la plancha en posición vertical y ajuste el dial de control de temperatura de
calor Minimo /Bajo.
Inserte el enchufe en la toma, y luego gire el dial de control de temperatura a la "alta
temperatura" marcada. El piloto se encenderá, indicando que la plancha se está
calentando.
Cuando el piloto se apaga, se ha alcanzado la temperatura de consigna y la plancha
está lista para usar.
Durante el planchado, el piloto de la plancha cambia automáticamente de encendido
/ apagado y el termostato mantiene la temperatura establecida (usted puede
continuar planchando durante este proceso).
Gire el control de vapor girando el mando hasta la posición deseada.
El vapor se produce tan pronto como la plancha este en posición horizontal..
PULVERIZACIÓN
Pulse el botón de aerosol para rociar agua sobre la ropa, tan a menudo como sea
necesario.
Nota: Cuando se utiliza la función de spray de agua, asegúrese de que haya suficiente
agua en el depósito de agua, y puede que tenga que pulsar el botón spray varias veces
la primera vez que utilice la plancha, con el fin de iniciar la función de spray
correctamente.
RAFAGA O VAPOR VERTICAL DE PLANCHADO
Pulse el botón de ráfaga de vapor para generar una poderosa explosión de vapor
que puede penetrar en los tejidos y suavizar las arrugas más difíciles y duras.
Espere unos segundos antes de pulsar de nuevo.
Al pulsar el botón de Explosión de vapor a intervalos también se puede planchar
verticalmente (cortinas, ropa colgada, etc.) Nota: La función de ráfaga de vapor sólo
se puede utilizar a alta temperatura. Detener la emisión cuando la luz piloto se
enciende, y luego empezar a planchar de nuevo sólo después de que el piloto se
haya apagado.
PLANCHADO EN SECO
Para planchar sin vapor, siga las instrucciones en la sección "planchar con vapor", sin
embargo, el control de vapor girando el mando debe permanecer en la posición "OFF"
(sin vapor).

AUTOLIMPIEZA (SELF-CLEANING)
Sólo presione el botón de autolimpieza cuando desee activar dicho sistema. Nunca
presione el botón de autolimpieza al planchar.
Dicha función elimina el sarro y las impurezas. Utilice la función de autolimpieza una vez
cada dos semanas. Si el agua de su zona es muy dura, la función de autolimpieza se
debe utilizar con más frecuencia.
1. Asegúrese de que la plancha está apagada y desenchufada de la toma de
alimentación.
2. Ajuste el control de vapor en la posición de apagado y llene la plancha con agua hasta
el "MAX".
3. Fije su plancha sobre su tabla, conecte y enciéndala. Y seleccione la temperatura
MAX.
4. Desenchufe la plancha y sosténgala sobre un fregadero con la suela hacia abajo
cuando la temperatura alcance el máx.
5. Mantenga pulsado el botón de autolimpieza. El agua caliente y el vapor serán
expulsados de los agujeros en la suela, junto con cualquier impureza.
6. Suelte el botón de autolimpieza después de un minuto o cuando el tanque de agua
esté vacío.
7. Pare su plancha sobre su tabla, conéctela al tomacorriente y enciéndala. Seleccione la
temperatura MAX, deje que la plancha se caliente. Planche un trozo viejo de tela para
remover el agua restante.
SISTEMA ANTICAL
Un filtro especial dentro del tanque de agua suaviza el agua y evita la acumulación de
sarro en la suela. El filtro es permanente y no necesita reemplazo.
Nota: Use solo agua del grifo. El agua destilada y desmineralizada hace que el sistema
anti-cal sea ineficaz al alterar sus características fisicoquímicas.
COMO LIMPIAR Y GUARDAR
Tras su uso, levante la plancha con los agujeros de llenado hacia abajo para vaciar
el agua restante del tanque de agua.
Inserte el enchufe en la toma, y fija el control de la temperatura Dial para "MAX"
durante 1-2 minutos para evaporar el agua que queda, y luego desconecte la
plancha y deje que se enfríe antes de guardarla.
ATENCIÓN
Cuando el cable de alimentación esté dañado, póngase en contacto con el proveedor o
un centro de servicio autorizado para su reparación. En caso de cualquier reparación,

sustitución, o ajuste por favor consulte a un técnico calificado.
