Unpacking
Place antenna on a flat clean surface, such as on top of the packing material.

Tools required
Combination wrench (ring/open jaw) Hex 13; for M8.
Screwdriver for Torx TX20; for M4.
Tool for torque levels; 2.6Nm and 24Nm.
Assembly
Step 1 –Radome (only for 24-80GHz)
For frequencies 24-80GHz the preassembled spherical radome has to be demounted and flipped
180°. For 7-23GHz the antennas have a preassembled flat radome, in this case ignore step 1 and
continue to step 2.
a) Unscrew the M4 Torx screw on the edge ring.
b) Flip the Spherical radome 180˚.
c) Align screw and draining hole on the antenna.
d) Tighten the M4 Torx screw with 2,6Nm ±5%

Step 2 –Customer unique Installation
For assembling of Feed and Adapter plates, follow customer unique Installation Instructions.
Step 3 –Antenna Support
a) Mount M8x25 Hang screw with washer halfway into the antenna.

Decide if the antenna support shall be mounted on the antenna before hoisting or if it first shall
be mounted to the pole and then hoist and hang the antenna to the antenna support. This
instruction describes the latest.
Decide if the antenna shall be left side installed or right side installed.

Picture below shows how to assemble the support for right side installation. If left side
installation ignore b) to g) and continue to h).
b) Disassemble the support.
c) Flip Pipe Attachment Bracket 180°˚ and use the opposite holes for M8x100 and M8x25
screws
d) Mount M8x100 Screw through Pivot Bracket and Pipe Attachment Bracket with Washer
and Nut.
e) Mount nut and Washer on the Link screw.
f) Mount the Link screw though the Pipe Attachment bracket with Washer and Nut.
g) Mount M8x25 Screw and Washer through Pivot Bracket into Link screw.
h) Mount 2pcs M8x100 Screws into Pipe Attachment Bracket.
i) Flip Clamp bracket depending on pole Ø and mount it with washers and nut around the
pole. Tighten the nuts.

j) Use Hang screw to hang antenna on the Antenna Support. Check Washer placement.
k) Tighten Hang screw.
l) Mount the Lock Screw M8x35 and Secure Screw M8x25 with washer.
m) Tighten lock and Secure screws.
n) Position the antenna so it will point along the radio link path.
o) Tighten M8 nuts (2pcs) with 24Nm±5%.

a) Slightly loosen Hang, Lock and Secure screws. Use Elevation Screw to adjust elevation
±15˚.
Azimuth adjustment
b) Slightly loosen Hinge nut, Azimuth lock screw and azimuth nuts. Use Azimuth nuts on
azimuth adjustment link screw to adjust azimuth ±15˚.
c) Tighten all M8 screws (4pcs) and nuts (3pcs) with 24Nm ±5%.
