Installthefreezerinaventilatedlocationandrespect
theminimumspacedistance
Ifthefreezerisnotcorrectlylevelduringinstallation,thedoorsmaynot
wellcloseorsealproperlywhichwillcausecooling,frostormoistureproblems.
Important:
Whenoperatingthefreezerforthefirsttime,setthethermostatto1withoutloadinganyfoodandletitoperated
during3hours.
Thepositionofthethermostatdependsoftheroomambienttemperatureandalsoaboutthequantityoffood
storesinthefreezer.Formoredetailspleasereadcarefullythechapter“Storageadvices”

throughoutfreezer.
Alsoletenoughspaceatthefrontsothedoorcanclosetightly.
Keepthesealcleanandsoftinordertodon’tlosecoldair.
Ifthereissomepowerinterruption,pleasedonnotopenthedoorsinordertokeepinsidethecoldair.
Thefreezercompartmentisdesignedforstoringfrozenfoodandforfreezingfoodathome.
Afterdefrost,neverfreezeanothertimethefood.
Putinadaptedprotectivebagorcontainerallfoods.
Weadviseyoutosplitthefoodinsmallquantity.
Byremovingcartonandpackagebeforeputtingfoodinthefreezer,youreducethepowerconsumptionbecause
freezercoolsdownquicklythefood.
Byoverfillingyourappliances,youpushthecompressortoworkduringalongtime:soyouincreaseyourpower
consumption.
Neverputwarmfoodinthefreezer:letitbecooldownuntiltheroomtemperaturebeforestoring.
Whenyoudefrostsomefrozenfood,putitinthefreezer:thedefrostingenergyisusedtocooldownotherfood
insteadofusecompressorpower.
Keepthesealcleanandsoftinordertodon’tlosecoldair.
Keepthedoorcloseandopenthefreezeronlywhennecessary.Rememberthateachtimeyouopenthedoor,the
coldairislostandyouoverworkthecompressor.

Todefrostpartiallythefreezercompartment,youcanremovethefrostwithascraper(providedwiththe
appliance).
Ifthefrostthicknessismorethat10mm,youneedtodoafullydefrost.Pleasefollowthebelowprocesstodoit:
1. Removeallfoods,icecubetrayandshelfofthefreezerandfreezercompartment(storetheminothercold
place)
2. TurnthethermostatknobtoOFFandleavethefreezerdooropened.
3. Cleanandwipeoutthemeltedfrostwithacloth.
4. Afterdefrosting,turnthethermostatknobtooriginposition.
