Installation
ENSURE ALL POWER IS TURNED OFF
Mount an electrical box inside the wall
The Touch P Series controller can be installed in a 35mm metal electrical backbox if the you are
hardwiring the DMX and not using a data connection. You will require a 45mm metal electrical
backbox is you are using a data cable for the DMX or require a data connect.
You can only install the Touch P Series ush. If you wish to insert the AC/DC adapter inside the
backbox use a metal duel backbox.
Connect the wires
DMX Hardwire: Connect the DMX wires to the green block.
Brown = DMX Ground
Orange = DMX -
Orange and White = DMX +
OR DMX Data Cable: Connect the DMX RJ45 cable to the
DMX port of the back of the Touch P Series Controller.
Power: The power comes prewired to the green block.
Solid black = Power Ground
Black and Grey = Power +
Black & Grey
Black
Brown
Orange
Orange & White
POWER +
POWER GROUND
DMX +
DMX -

3. Place the front plate over the backplate
and slide down to x.
Mount the Touch Controller on the wall
1. Remove the back plate of the Touch
Controller by sliding down the back plate
2. Screw the Touch Controller back plate onto
the back box using 3.5mm screws.

In This Box
You should be supplied with the following:
1 x Touch P Series DMX Controller
1 x AC/DC Power adapter
1 x 5-way push on connector, prewired to power adapter.
1 x USB to Mini USB connecting cable
1 x Touch Studio Software CD
1 x 10m Data cable (RJ45) Stripped one end.
Important Information
All installations should be completed by a competent electrical professional.
You should follow all instructions as outline in this manual, failure to follow these instruction may
cause damage to yourself, property or the unit.
Ensure all mains power is turned o before you begin the installation; and remain o for the
duration of the installation.
The Touch P Series requires a 240V 2amp power supply.
Installation Continued
Once Power and/or DMX are wired to the green block, connect the green block to the back of the
Touch P Series Controller.
Connect the AC/DC power adapter to 240V 2amp power supply.
