Wheel Hoe
(PW105)
The following instructions were provided by the manufacturer.
Assembly Instructions
Your package should contain the following:
Components:
1 - Toolbar Assembly with wheel arms attached
1 - Steel Wheel
2 - Steel Dust Caps (For wheel assembly)
3 - Cultivator Teeth
2 - Solid Wood Handles
1 - Tapered Dowel Rod
2 - 8" Sweeps S100 & S101 (*Deluxe Package only*)
Bolts:
1 - 3/8" x 2-1/4" shoulder bolt with nylon lock nut. (Used for wheel assembly)
4 - 1/4" x 1-1/2" carriage head bolts with 1/4" flat washer, 1/4" lock washer and 1/4" nut.
(Used for handle assembly)
3 - 3/8" x 1-1/2" carriage head bolts with 3/8" flanged nut. (Used for mounting cultivator
teeth)
2 - 1" Wood Screws
2 - Special Squared bolts with flanged nuts (used for mounting sweeps)
Tools Required : (NOTE: *Tools Not Included in Package*)
1 - 7/16" wrench
1 - 1/2" wrench
1 - 9/16" wrench
1 - 3/16" Allen wrench
1 - Phillips Screw Driver
Mounting the wheel to the wheel arms

Materials Required
2 - Steel dust caps
1 - Wheel
1 - Shoulder bolt with nylon lock nut
DIRECTIONS:
1) Place dust caps onto each side of the wheel hub
2) Slide wheel into place between wheel arms
3) Place 3/8" shoulder bolt through wheel arms and hub
4) Install 5/16" nylon lock nut.
NOTE:
Tighten lock nut with 1/2" wrench and 3/16" Allen wrench until nut bottoms out on
shoulder bolt.
Loosen nut slightly until wheel turns freely.
Mounting Implements to Toolbar
Cultivator Teeth
Materials Required
3 - Cultivator Teeth
3 - Carriage head bolts (3/8" x 1-1/2")
3 - Flanged nuts
DIRECTIONS
Place 3/8" x 1-1/2" carriage head bolt from bottom up through the front hole of cultivator
tooth and into the tool bar
Adjust to the desired position and secure using a 3/8" flanged nut and 9/16" wrench

Installing Handles and Tapered Dowel Rod
Materials Required
2 - Wood Handles
4 - carriage head bolts (1/4" x 1-1/2")
4 - 1/4" flat washer
4 - 1/4" lock washer
4 - 1/4" nut
1 - Tapered Dowel Rod
2 - 1" Wood Screws
DIRECTIONS
1) Position handles to the outside of each toolbar handle mount (Use the bottom 2 holes
in handle for single wheel hoe)
2) Place 2 1/4" x 1-1/2" carriage head bolts through toolbar handle mount, and out
through the handle (Logo should be facing outward on each handle)
3) Fasten using 1/4" flat washer, then 1/4" lock washer and 1/4" nut
4) Adjust handle to correct height per user (see adjustment)
5) Secure handle position using a 7/16" wrench
6) Place Tapered Dowel Rod between handles at the mortised location (Slight tension is
common when installing tapered dowel rod. A twisting motion will help seat the rod into
the hole. (Both sides should bottom out against tapered dowel shoulder)
7) Insert the 1" wood screws into the pilot holes in the handles at the tapered dowel
location (2 pilot holes, one per side)
8) Tighten both sides down snug, this secures the tapered dowel

Outfitting your Hoss with sweeps S100 and S101.
1. Remove the cultivator teeth from the host toolbar (keep the bolts and nuts with the
teeth)
2. With the special square head bolts inserted from the bottom of the sweep upward and
the flanged nut in place, position the flange nut into the quick change hole on the tool bar
and slide to the desired position and tighten.
NOTE: Sweeps are interchangeable and can be mounted turned in or turned out.
