Chapter 1. Introduction
1-1 System Requirement
* Pentium 4 1.8Gor above CPU
* 512M or above memory

Chapter 2. Installation instruction
Please confirm that your operation system meet the requirement of 1-1.
If the other software has caused the equipment, Lenovo does not hold any
responsibility.

2-1 Installation
Lenovo L2461x Wide Monitor Windows Shortcut Key software support Windows XP
SP1 above or Windows Vista & Windows 7.
1) Double click Setup.exe, a guiding window will pop up.
2) Click "Next", windows will start installation.

3) Input the relevant user info , then Click "Next".
4) Accept the default installation folder or browse to select a different folder
and click "Next".

5) The Ready to Install the Program screen is displayed.
Click "Install" to begin the installation program.
6) The installation program begins copying files.

7) When the installation program is complete, the Installation Wizard
Completed screen is displayed. Click “Finish” to finish the installation.
At the same time, a shortcut will be created in start menu.

2-2 Uninstallation
1) Click【Control Panel】Æ【Add or Remove Programs】Æ Lenovo LCD Software
click“delete”to begin the uninstallation program.
A dialog will pop up：
2) Click "Yes"，the LCD Software will be uninstalled.
if it finished, the Uninstallation Completed screen is displayed.

Chapter 3. Silent Install / Uninstall
Lenovo L2461x Wide Monitor Windows Shortcut Key support silent install or
uninstall.
3-1 Silent Install
Silent Installation script format: Setup.exe [-s [-f2<result file name>]]
A log file can be generated during installing.
You can specify -f2 parameter to set the log file name and path.
3-2 Silent Uninstall
Silent Uninstall script format: Setup.exe -d
The uninstall will be started without any prompt interface,
The uninstall process be completed in the background.
You can specify -f2 parameter to set the log file name and path.

Chapter 4. Q&A
Q: Why sometime the Windows MCE was open and sometime the folders under My Document
were open, when I touch “My Video”，”My Picture” and “My Music”?
A: When your computer has been installed the Windows media center (MCE), If you
click “My Picture” “My Video” “My Music” the media center (MCE) will be opened.
When your computer has not been installed the Windows media center (MCE), the
folder under” My documents” will be opened.
