
Whenusingthisfireplace,basicprecautionsshouldalwaysbetakentoreducetheriskoffire,electric
shockandinjurytopersons,includingthefollowing:

feetfromthefront,sideandrearofthefireplace.
CAUTION‐HOT!Theheaterishotwhenitisinuse.Toavoidburns,donotletbareskintouchhot

1. Carefullyreadallinstructionsbeforeusingthefireplaceandretainforfuturereference.
2. Removetheunitfromitspackagingandchecktomakesureitisingoodconditionbeforeuse.
3. Donotletchildrenplaywithanypartsofthepacking(suchasplasticbags,etc.).
4. Checkthehouseholdvoltagetoensurethatitmatchesthefireplace’sratedspecification.

orifithasbeendroppedordamagedinanymanner.Returnthefireplacetoanauthorizedservice

Instructions for Use
Thisfireplacecanbeoperatedwiththeswitcheslocatedontherearpanelofthefireplace.
Plugthefireplaceintoapoweroutlet.
Switch“I”buttonONtoturnonthefireplace.
Adjustthedimmingknobforthedesiredflameeffect.
TurntheII buttonONforlowheat.
TurntheII&IIIbuttonONforhighheat.
Adjustthethermostatcontrolknobtoregulatetheheat.



Thermostat
The thermostat is used to control the room temperature. It acts as a switch and does not vary the amount
of heat output from the heater.
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise until the maximum temperature setting is reached.
Once the desired room temperature is reached, slowly turn the thermostat knob anti-clockwise
until you hear a click. The heater will not stop working.
The heater will turn on and off automatically maintaining the room temperature you have set.

Auto Safety Shut-Off Mechanism
Thisfireplaceisequippedwithasafetyshut‐offfeaturewhichinitiatesifthefireplaceoverheats
(e.g.Duetoblockedairvents).Forsafetyreasons,thefireplacewillNOTautomaticallyreset,
andwillneedtobemanuallyturnedON.
Torestartthefireplace,unplugthefireplacefromthepoweroutletforatleast15minutes.Next,
reconnecttothepoweroutletandturnonthefireplace.




Replacing the Light Bulb
Thisfireplaceconsistsof2bulbs(E‐12,40W)thatilluminateaflameeffect.Thelightbulbsneed
tobereplacedifyounoticeadarksectionoftheflameorwhentheflamesloseclarity.
Warning‐Alwaysdisconnectfromthepoweroutletbeforeremovingbulbstoreducetheriskof
fire,electricshockordamagetoproperty.
Warning‐Thebulbreacheshightemperaturesduringoperation.Allowittocooldownbefore
replacingit.
Accessthebulbpanellocatedontherearpanelofthefireplace(seefiguresbelow).

Accessthebulbbyremovingthefourscrewslocatedonthebackpanel.
Replacethebulbwithanewone.Extracautionshouldbetakenbecausethebulbcanbehot.
Closethepanellidusingscrews.
Warning–Donotusefireplacewithoutproperlyputtingthelidbackinplace.
Thelightbulbmayonlybereplacedbythemanufacturerorqualifiedserviceagent.



Cleaning & Maintenance
Swatchoffanddisconnectfromthepowersupplybeforeattemptinganymaintenanceor
cleaninginordertoreducetheriskoffire,electricshocktopersonsordamagetoproperty.
Warning‐Alwaysdisconnectfromthepowersupplybeforecleaningfireplace.
Forgeneralcleaning,useasoft,cleanduster.Neveruseabrasivecleaners.Theglassviewing
screenshouldbecleanedthoroughlywithasoftcloth.DoNOTuseproprietaryglasscleaners.
Becarefulnottotouchtheheatingelements.Donotallowanywateroranyotherliquidto
enterthehousingorcontrolpanel.
Alwayskeeptheairinletandoutletopeningsfreefromanydustorfluff–useavacuumcleaner
fittedwithadustingbrushtoremoveaccumulateddustwhennecessary.Donotprobeany
openingtoremovedustorfluff.

Storage

Iftheheaterisnotinuseforalongperiod,packtheheaterandusermanualintotheoriginalboxand
storeinacool,dryandwellventilatedplace.


