The following steps are intended for Landing Gear installation on Lets Go Aero GearSpace and GearDeck
Cargo Carriers only. For installation of Landing Gear on GearCage, BlackBox, BigBox, or Moover Cargo Carriers refer to
Page 7 of this manual.
The included Landing Gear Legs [A] are shipped in the
Nested position [Figure 1]. For assembly, the Legs must
be moved to the Deployed position [Figure 2].
For each Leg [A], pull the nested Legs outward to release
the spring loaded Engagement Tab [Figure 3].
Once released, swing to the Deployed position. [See Page
11 for more information on Landing Gear Nesting and
Deployment operation.]
Attached the one (1) Channel [B] to the engagement side of each
Landing Gear Leg [A] using the Slot located furthest in on the
Channel.
Fasten one (1) 3/8” x 1” Bolt (LG) [G], one (1) Nylon Spacer [F], one
(1) 3/8” Washer [J], and one (1) 3/8” Nylock Nut [K] per Landing Gear
Leg to secure the Channel [B] to the Leg [A].
NOTE: The Nylon Spacer [F] should be installed between the
Channel [B] and the Landing Gear Leg [A] as shown. [Figure 4].

For installation on GearSpace and GearDeck
Cargo Carriers, the Landing Gear assembly
uses the existing hardware already located on
the floor of the carrier.
TIP: Bolt hole alignment of the Channels
[B] to the carrier is a precision t with the
carriers frame mount.
Realignment of the steel cross rails may
be necessary. Loosen the Hat Brackets
underneath the carrier and all oors bolts
to adjust [Figure 5]. Be sure to only fully
remove bolts for each leg installation
needed. DO NOT REMOVE ALL BOLTS AT
ONE TIME.
Remove two (2) bolts and their associated
washers and nuts starting in the areas closest
to the passenger side of the carrier [Figure 6].

Using the open SLOTS on each end of the
[A] channel, Install one (1) Leg Assembly
using the two (2) bolts and hardware
removed from the carrier in Step 3. [Figure
7].
NOTE: This Leg [A] MUST be placed so that
the wheel faces away from the vehicle as
shown [Figure 8].

STEP 5
Following the same procedure as STEPS 3 &
4 on the opposite end of the carrier (Driver’s
side), use two (2) of the existing bolts and
hardware from the floor of the carrier to
install a second Leg [A] as shown. [Figure 9].
NOTE: This Leg [A] MUST be placed so
that the wheel faces away from the vehicle.

STEP 6
Using the next two (2) existing bolts and
hardware positioned on the same side of the
carrier as Step 5 (Driver’s Side), install the
third Leg [A] as shown. [Figure 11].
NOTE: This Leg [A] is positioned opposite of
the Legs from Steps 4 & 5, facing towards
the vehicle. [Figure 12].

In the same manor as STEP 6, install the
final Leg [A] using the existing hardware
into the remaining bolt positions on the
passenger side of the vehicle as shown
[Figure 13 & 14].
NOTE: Following the same procedure as
STEP 6, this Leg [A] is also positioned with
the wheel’s facing towards the vehicle.

STEP 8
Place the Right Support Bar [D] on top of the Left
Support Bar [E] where the slots meet at the end of each
bar [Figure 15].
Secure the bars together with the supplied 1/4”-20 x
3/4” Bolt [P], one (1) 1/4” Washer [N], and one (1) 1/4”
Nylock Nut [M].

STEP 11
Following the same procedure as Step 9 using the Legs [A] that face towards the vehicle, remove two (2) existing Leg
Bolts located closest to the vehicle and the associated Hardware from each leg.
Install the Long Support Bar [C] by first re-installing one (1) existing Leg Bolt and hardware back though the hole on the
Long Support Bar for each Leg.
On the Slotted ends of the bar, use one (1) 1/4”-20 x
3/4” Bolt [P], one (1) 1/4” Washer [N], and one (1) 1/4”
Nylock Nut [M]on each Leg to fully secure each legs as
shown. [Figure 22, 23, & 24].

GEARCAGE MODELS INSTALLATION
The following steps are intended for Landing Gear installation on Lets Go Aero brand GearCage, BlackBox, BigBox, &
Moover Cargo Carriers only.
For installation of Landing Gear on GearSpace and GearDeck Cargo Carriers refer to Page 2 of this manual.
STEP 1
STEP 2
The included Landing Gear Legs [A] are shipped in the
Nested position [Figure 1]. For assembly, the Legs must
be moved to the Deployed position [Figure 2].
For each Leg [A], pull the nested Legs outward to release
the spring loaded Engagement Tab [Figure 3].
Once released, swing to the Deployed position. [See Page
11 for more information on Landing Gear Nesting and
Deployment operation.]
Attached the one (1) Channel [B] by aligning the two (2) slots with the
holes on top of the Landing Gear Leg.
Using the hole located on the engagement side of each Landing Gear
Leg [A] fasten the Leg to the Channel using (1) 3/8” x 1” Bolt (LG)
[G], one (1) Nylon Spacer [F], one (1) 3/8” Washer [J], and one (1)
3/8” Nylock Nut [K] per Landing Gear Leg.
NOTE: The Nylon Spacer [F] should be installed between the
Channel [B] and the Landing Gear Leg [A] as shown. [Figure 4].
On the hole located Smooth
Side of each Landing Gear Leg,
fasten the Leg to the Channel
using (1) 3/8” x 3/4” Bolt (LG)
[H], one (1) 3/8” Washer [J], and
one (1) 3/8” Nylock Nut [K] per
Landing Gear Leg.
NOTE: Bolts should be
fastened in the slots so they are
positioned as far as possible
from the edge of the Channel [B]
as shown. [Figure 5]

Using two (2) U-Bolts [L], two
(2) 1/4” Washers [N], and two
(2) 1/4” Nylock Nuts [M] each,
attach two (2) Legs [A] to the
Carrier’s Frame Bars with
the wheels facing towards
the vehicle [Figure 6 & 8] by
slipping the U-Bolts between
the Frame Bars and the carrier
floor panels on the underside
of the carrier.
Legs [A] should be each
approximately 13” from the
center of the carrier.
NOTE: One (1) U-Bolt [L] will
share a slot with a 3/8” x 3/4”
Bolt from STEP 2 as shown
[Figure 7].
Hand-tighten hardware only
at this time for loose fit.
In the same manor as Step 3,
attach the 3rd and 4th Leg [A]
facing away from the vehicle
to the carrier Frame Bars using
(2) U-Bolts [L], two (2) 1/4”
Washers [N], and two (2) 1/4”
Nylock Nuts [M] each [Figure 9
& 10].
These Legs [A] should be
wider set than the Legs used
in Step 3. Each approximately
21” from the center of the
carrier [Figure 11].
Hand-tighten hardware only
at this time for loose fit.

Using the Legs [A] that face away from the vehicle, remove one bolt and
associated hardware from each Leg [Figure 14].
NOTE: Remove the bolt that is located furthest away from the vehicle
on the interior of the carrier as shown [Figure 13].
Re-attach the hardware removed from Step 6, installing
with it the Right & Left [D & E] assembly bar as shown
[Figure 16 & 17].
NOTE: For this carriers application, the Right & Left
Support [D & E] assembly must be mounted using the
holes located closest to the end [Figure 15].

Using the Legs [A] that face towards the vehicle,
remove one (1) bolt and the associated hardware from
each Leg and discard these bolts.
Install the Long Support Bar [C] through the slotted
ends of the bar using (1) 1/4”-20 x 3/4” Bolt [P], one
(1) 1/4” Washer [N], and one (1) 1/4” Nylock Nut [M] on
each Leg [A]. [Figure 19, 20 & 21].
Center the each Leg assembly and then tighten and fully secure all hand-tightened hardware from Steps 3 & 4. Check all
connections before beginning Landing Gear Operation or operating the vehicle.

LANDING GEAR OPERATION
The following instructions are for Landing Gear Nesting, Deployment and Extension Operations.
Starting with the narrower set of Legs [A] located closer to
the vehicle, pull each Landing Gear Leg downward until both
Engagement Tab’s release [Figure 1, 2 & 3].
Swing Spring loaded Legs to nested position and
release the Engagement Tab into the notch to secure
[Figure 5 & 6].
Repeat for the wider set of legs farthest from the
vehicle.

Never operate the vehicle unless the Landing Gear accessory is fully engaged into the Nested Engagement position.

Starting with the wider set of Legs [A] located
furthest from the vehicle, pull each Landing Gear Leg
parallel until each Engagement Tab releases [Figure 7,
8 & 9].
With the Engagement Tabs of both Legs [A] released,
push the Legs down until the Tabs re-engage in the
Deployed position [Figure 10, 11, 12 & 13].
Repeat Deployed Steps 1 & 2 for the thinner set of
Landing Gear Legs [A] located closest to the vehicle.
LEG EXTENSION: With all four Landing Gear Legs [A] in the Deployed
position, press down on the Extension Levers located on each Leg [A]
working with each bonded set in tandem to release the wheel extensions
[Figure 14].
Slide each Leg [A] downward until they reach the ground.
LEG RETRACTION: Press down and hold the Extension Levers to release
the wheel extensions [Figure 14].
Grabbing from the bottom of each wheel, push the Landing Gear Legs up
towards the carrier until desired Leg length is reached or the Legs become
fully retracted and release the extension.

The Landing Gear accessory’s maximum payload weight is 250 lbs (available cargo weight). Do not exceed this
carrying capacity.
Landing Gear may only be used on smooth & level surfaces.
Landing Gear weighs 40 lbs. Do not exceed the receiver hitch manufacturer’s tongue weight rating.
Do not use this accessory for purposes other than those for which they were designed. Failure to follow the guidelines of
the product’s instructions will void the warranty.

Let’s Go Aero warrants this product to be free from defect in material and workmanship for one year (retain your sales re-
ceipt for your records). Any product or part thereof found to be defective within that period will be replaced without charge
provided that: (1) the product was not misused; (2) no alterations or modications were made; (3) its failure was not a
result of normal wear expected in the use of the product; (4) the product or part is delivered, freight prepaid, to Let’s Go
Aero. Manufacturers only obligation shall be to replace such products or parts proved to be defective. A Return Merchan-
