Congratulaons! You’ve made a smart choice by purchasing letown. Letown has both front and
rear cameras, ADAS, parking monitor mode as well as GPS path tracing. Replacing lithium baeries
with the capacitor power supply and OBD power cable, Letown is absolutely safe and durable.

You can choose the funcon you need.This User Manual covers the following 3 models which share
a common video plaorm but include varying add-on features:

DASH CAM FEATURES

Connuous Loop Recording - Footage is stored in 1, 3, or 5 minute clips. When the memory
card fills up, the camera automacally deletes the oldest segments to make room for new ones.
Emergency Recording(SOS) - If you don’t want a clip to be overwrien, simply click the
Emergency Recording buon and the clip will be protected. Clips are automacally protected if
an impact is detected.
G-Sensor - 3-axis accelerometer senses sudden acceleraons, stops, and collisions and
automacally protects footage surrounding the incident.
Parking Monitor - Press OBD “P” to turn on the uninterrupted power supply.Select Camera Mode.
The dash camera will only record video when moon is detected.
(The power would be cut off automacally when the car baery voltage is under 11.6V )
Simple Installaon - Mount the unit on the windshield and apply power. Forget about it. Drive
HD cameras will automacally start recording without the need for complex configuraon.

CAMERA COMPONENTS
● OBD Radar module Power Cable : LT-Mount-001– Auto switch to parking mode when
you park your car. Triggered by the moon detector, the dash cam will automacally
record when people or things come closer to your car, and automacally power off if
nothing happens aer 30 seconds. It decreases the load on the dash cam, car baery
and memory card to the greatest extent possible and effecvely extends the service life
(powered by OBD power cable, automac protecon for baery under 11.6V low
voltage).
● GPS Mount: LT-Mount-002– Enables dash cams to embed GPS locaon, speed, G-
sensor, and compass informaon into videos.

To install the Adhesive 3M Windshield Mount peel the
plasc film off of 3M Adhesive. Press the mount to aach
onto the windshield.
Plug one end of the supplied OBD ACC Car Charger into
your vehicle’s OBD socket, and the other end into the
Micro USB port. The unit will automacally turn on and
start recording.
Dash Cams are designed to set and forget. Aer inial
setup, the unit will turn on and start recording as soon
as power is applied. When the Micro SD card is full the
oldest footage will be deleted to make way for the new.
If you witness something that you don’t want to be deleted,
simply press the Emergency Record buon and it will be saved forever.

CAM 1 - To install the Radar and the Adhesive 3M
Windshield Mount peel the plasc film off of
3M Adhesive. Press the mount and radar aach
onto the windshield and insall the CAM1
CAM 2 – Aach CAM 2 to the windshield using the
adhesive tape too. CAM 2 is most commonly installed
facing out the rear on the top center of the rear
windshield. It can also be mounted on the front
windshield to record the interior of the vehicle.
● Plug the OBD ACC Car Charger into your
car’s OBD socket,then Insert the USB into
the dash cam USB port.
● Plug one end of Extender Cable into
CAM 2 and plug the other end of Extender
Cable into CAM 1
● Enter the Advance Seng to set the
GPS (GPSKM or GPSMPH is ok). Plug the
3.5MM plug into the GPS Port
● Organize and tuck away cables to make
sure that the driver’s view is not obstructed.
In most vehicles it’s possible to tuck cables
into the headliner and cleanly hide the extender
cable along the top wall all the way to the rear of
the vehicle.
(Professional installaon is recommended)

radar module and the top of the windshield
be separated by 3 cm(1.2 inch)

BASIC OPERATION
POWERING ON THE DEVICE
The device will power on automacally when plugged in
CONTINUOUS LOOP RECORDING:
EMERGENCY RECORDING
Once the memory card is full, the camera will connuously overwrite the oldest footage
recorded. To protect a clip so that it will not be overwrien, press the Emergency Record
Buon. The emergency record icon will show on the screen. Files can also be locked from the
playback menu in Video Viewer Mode.
Emergency Recordings create locked files that are not overwrien by Connuous Loop
Recording. In order to ensure that important footage isn’t lost surrounding an incident,
adjacent video clips are locked if the incident happens .
NAVIGATING MENUS
When in a menu, press or to navigate to the menu item you want to select or change
and then press to select or change the opon associated with that item. Pressing at
any me will exit the menu without saving changes.
The LED Indicator, located near the top right of the screen, communicates charging and
recording status even if the screen is off. LED operaon is detailed in the table below:

VIDEO SCREEN (LT9 , LT9-B)
STATUS BAR ICONS
VIDEO SCREEN BASICS
The Video Screen is the home screen for the device and allows you to easily record HD video
of the road ahead of you.
When first powered on, the device will start on the video screen and automacally begin
recording.
Press the Record/Pause buon to start/stop recording.
Note that the buon funcons are different depending on whether the unit is currently
recording or not.
Also note that the unit must be paused in order to enter the Sengs Menu.

1. Indicate the recording me of the current clip.

Emergency Recording(SOS) - If you don’t want a clip to be overwrien, simply click the
Emergency Recording buon and the clip will be protected. Clips are automacally
protected if an impact is detected.
Toggles the microphone on/off.
Pauses the video. While in an emergency recording you will have to press pause once to
cancel the emergency recording.
Enters the sengs menu to change the video sengs, general sengs, advance seng.
Enters the playback menu to review previous recordings and photos.
Invalid buon.(It can only be used while recording)
Starts a recording.
Takes a snapshot and stores it as a .JPEG file.

Video Resoluon (LT9-A)
This seng allows you to select one of the available video recording resoluons. Higher
resoluons will give you a sharper image, but they will take up more memory on the card.
The available resoluons are:
4K 24FPS 2.5K 30FPS 2K 30FPS 1080P 60FPS 1080FHD
Video Resoluon (LT9,LT9-B)
The available resoluons are:
1080P-DUAL / 1080P30,1080P30-R(Mirror Image) / 1080P30,1080P30-M
Recording interval (Loop clip me)
This seng allows you to control the duraon of each individual movie clip on the device.
Movie clips can be set to duraons of 1 minutes, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes or Acon Cam Mode.
In general, 3 minute clips are preferred because the file size is much more manageable when
transferring to a computer for eding.
HDR
Default is OFF. Press“Confirm”to select ON/OFF.
Exposure comp:
Default is “0”. Press“Confirm”to select 0.3/0/-0.3/-0.6/-1/-1.3/-1.6/-2
Moon Detecon:
If the lens senses a moving object peripherally, the DVR enters the video recording state.
If the lens senses no moving object within 10 seconds, the DVR stops video recording.
Camera Mode:
The device's display will go dark and enter the moon detecon.
G- Sensor
The Dash Cam includes a built in G-Sensor which allows the device to determine when
the car has been in a collision. If it detects a collision, it automacally locks the recording being
made at the me of the accident. You can use this seng to set the sensivity of the G-Sensor
from low to hight or turn it off . Hight sensivity requires the least impact to acvate the G-sensor
and the G-Sensor may lock files due to smaller bumps like potholes and the SD card may fill up
with protected files. Low sensivity requires the highest impact to acvate the G-sensor.
Date/Time Stamp
These menu opons change the watermark & me stamp that will appear on the saved video
files. Photo files do not contain a watermark.
Time-lapse Record :
Default is OFF. Press“Confirm”to select 1 Second/5 Second/10 Second/30 Second/1 Minute/
5 Minute/10 Minute/
Display Mode:
Default is Picture In Picture(Front+Back). Press“Confirm”to select Front Camera/Back Camera/
Picture In Picture(Front+Back)/Picture In Picture(Back+Front).

GENERAL SETTINGS
Date/Time
Allows you to set the date, me, on the device and for use with the mestamp.
Auto Power OFF
Default is OFF,It can be set to duraons of 1 minutes, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes or 5
minute.
Beep Sound
Turns the sound on or off for each me a buon is pressed.
Language
Allows you to set the language for the device from among the 10 supported languages.
English/Francais/Espanol/Portuguese/Deutsch/Italiano/简体中文/繁體中文/Pусский/日本語
TV Mode
Allows you to set TV Mode(NTSC/PAL) according to different countries.
Screen Save
Allows you to set a duraon aer which the device’s display will go dark. This seng is
useful to avoid distracted driving and having a bright LED screen when driving at night.
Select 10 Secondor 30 Second
Format
Allows you to format the inserted SD Card.
NOTE:This acon will permanently delete all data on the card.
Default Seng:
Resets the device to factory sengs. Note that restoring defaults will NOT erase data on
your memory card.
Version:
Displays the device firmware version.
GPS:
Default is OFF,Allows you to set GPSKM and GPSMPH.
LDWS:
The Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) provides audible and visual warnings as
youapproach a lane boundary. It will indicate whether you are deparng the lane to
the le or tothe right. Note that this feature relies solely on analyzing video of the
road ahead and, therefore, works best on clearly marked roads with good visibility.

VIDEO AND PHOTO PLAYBACK MODE
This device stores video and pictures on its removable SD Card Memory. Playback mode will allow
you to review the saved video and photos and play back the video with sound. To select a video or
photo for playback, navigate with the arrows and select with Enter key . The Back key will return
you to the previous screen.
When viewing a video it can be locked, unlocked, or deleted.
During video playback pressing the >> or << keys will advance to the next/previous video. Pressing
and holding these keys will playback the current video in fast forward or fast rewind mode
Photos can be viewed and deleted. It is not necessary to lock photo files – they are not overwrien
by connuous loop recording.
GPS OPERATION
GPS funconality embeds GPS, Speed, Heading, and G-Sensor informaon into video footage
recorded on the dash cam. GPS data can be received either through a GPS Mount (LT-Mount-002).
All models referenced in this manual are compable
with the GPS Mount .
Operaon is simple. Enter the Advance Seng to set the
GPS(GPSKM or GPSMPH is ok). Plug the 3.5mm plug from
the GPS mount into the Accessory Port on the le side of
the unit. A red GPS icon will appear indicang that GPS is
plugged in. The icon will turn green when GPS lock has been
achieved, indicang that informaon is now being stored in
recorded videos.
FCW:
The Frontal Collision Warning System (FCWS) provides audible and visual warnings if you are
quickly approaching an obstacle in the road ahead. Note that this feature relies solely on
analyzing video of the ahead. Note that this feature relies solely on analyzing video of the

CONNECTING TO A COMPUTER OR TV
DOWNLOAD PLAYER
This device can connect to a computer or television via the USB or HDMI ports located on the
side of the unit.
● Use the USB port on the side of the device to connect your computer.
When connected you will be given two opons: Connect to Computer or PC Camera.
● Select connect to computer to access the Micro SD Card via your computer. Your device
connects to your computer in Mass Storage mode, and acts like a flash drive. Videos can
be viewed with any standard video player that supports .MP4 files.
● Select PC Camera to turn the unit on for normal PC Camera.
Use the HDMI Port to connect the device to a TV or monitor using a mini HDMI cable
(not included).

ADAS funconality include LDWS and FCW, It can only be turn on in 1080P FHD mode. All models
referenced in this manual are compable with ADAS, Operaon is simple, Enter the Advance
Seng to set the LDWS and FCW, then Enter the Video Sengs to set the video resoluon,
when the ADAS switch on, A red cross mark appear,Adjust the camera,make sure the intersecon
of the farthest horizon and center line of the road to the red cross mark,When your car begins to
move out of its lane or get too close to the car in front of you, Letown Dashcam will sound the
voice alarm to warn you of the driving safety.
ADAS Operation
Parking Monitor Operation(LT9-A, LT9-B)
Plug the OBD ACC Car Charger into your car’s OBD socket, then Insert the USB into the dash cam

Select the Camera Mode,the
device's display will go dark.

Top Parking Monitor Operation(LT9)

the windshield. The unit will automacally turn on and start recording. Auto switch to parking
mode when you park your car. Triggered by the radar detector, the dash cam will automacally
record when people or things come closer to your car, and automacally power off if nothing

to the greatest extent possible and effecvely extends the service life (powered by OBD power
