that the engineering, design, materials, and workmanship applied to this
product will reward you with years of enjoyment and trouble-free use.
Using your Leupold Golden Ring binocular is very simple. However, you must
set them to match your eyesight before use. This is done by adjusting the
interpupillary distance and focusing the binoculars to your own visual acuity.
SETTING THE EYECUPS FOR PROPER EYE RELIEF
All Leupold Golden Ring binoculars feature eyecups you can twist, or push up
and down to provide proper eye relief for their use with or without eyeglasses.
If you do not wear eyeglasses, twist or pull the eyecups up so that they extend
away from the ocular lenses of the binocular.
If you wear eyeglasses, twist or pull the eyecups down so that they sit flush
with the ocular lenses of the binocular.

ADJUSTING INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE
The interpupillary distance is the distance between the pupils of your eyes.
To ensure a clear, single image, the binocular must be set so that the centers
of the ocular lenses are the same distance apart as your pupils.
TO SET THE INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE
1. Check that the interpupillary distance lock (located on the bridge of the
binoculars between the two objective lenses, not available on models with
Switch/Power™Technology) is set to “unlocked” by turning it to the
appropriate indicator on the dial.
2. Hold the binocular up to your eyes in the normal manner.
3. Look through the binocular with both eyes open.
4. Move the two barrels (halves) closer to or farther away from each other
until you see a single, circular image.
5. Set the interpupillary distance lock to “locked” by turning it to the
appropriate indicator on the dial.

FOCUSING TO YOUR OWN VISUAL ACUITY
Focusing your binocular to your own visual acuity, also known as “setting
the diopter adjustment,” is very important as this will prevent eye strain and
provide you with a crisp, sharp image.
TO SET THE BINOCULARS FOR YOUR VISION
1. View an object about 50 to 100 yards in the distance. If using a binocular
with Switch/Power Technology, select the high magnification setting by
positioning the switch in front of the center focus dial to the appropriate
position. The switch must be positioned to one side or the other; do not
leave it in the middle.
2. Cover the right objective lens with your hand or with the objective cover.
3. Adjust the center focus dial (located on the bridge between the ocular
lenses) until the image presented to your left eye is clear and sharp.
4. Cover the left objective lens with your hand or with the objective cover.
5. Adjust the diopter adjustment dial (located on the right side between the
binocular body and the right eyecup) until the image presented to your
right eye is clear and sharp.
Your binoculars are now focused for your eyesight.

FOCUSING IN THE FIELD
To make any adjustments in the field, simply turn the center focus dial while
viewing through both barrels.
CLEANING
Clean the fully armored body by simply wiping off any accumulated dirt or dust
with a damp cloth, mild detergent, or disposable wipes.
Clean the lenses as you would a camera lens. For optimal cleaning, use the
Leupold Lens Cleaning System. Begin by using the brush to whisk away dust.
Then use the microfiber cleaning tip, which is impregnated with a special
non-liquid cleaning compound, to clean the glass. If you don’t have a Leupold
Lens Cleaning System, use a standard lens brush to remove dust and then pure
alcohol, high-grade glass cleaner, or distilled water on a cotton swab. Please
start in the center of the lens, apply minimal pressure to cleaning aid and use
a circular motion, gently cleaning toward the outer edge of the lens.

set and monitored by the design engineers at Leupold’s headquarters in
Beaverton, Oregon.

If your Leupold Golden Ring binocular fails to perform in any way, you may
return it directly to the Leupold factory for service. It is not necessary
for your dealer to ship the binocular to Leupold; however, they can be very
helpful in determining if factory service is necessary.
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Include a note with your name, address, telephone number, e-mail, and a
description of the problem.
2. Pack the binocular in its original box (if you have it) or another suitably
strong shipping box.
3. Wrap the package securely using filament strapping tape on the outside.

PLACER LES OEILLETONS POUR ÉTABLIR LA BONNE POSITION DE L’OEIL

MISE AU POINT SELON VOTRE PROPRE ACUITÉ VISUELLE
Il est très important de mettre au point vos jumelles selon votre propre acuité visuelle, ce que l’on appelle aussi « l’ajustement dioptrique »,
car cela prévient la fatigue de l’œil et présente une image précise et claire.
POUR AJUSTER LES JUMELLES À VOTRE VISION
1. Regardez un objet à environ 46 à 91 mètres (50 à 100 verges) de distance. Si vous utilisez des jumelles à technologie Switch/Power,
choisissez le réglage de grossissement le plus élevé en plaçant l’interrupteur devant le cadran de mise au point centrale à la position
appropriée. L’interrupteur doit être placé d’un côté ou de l’autre. Ne le laissez pas au milieu.
2. Couvrez la lentille de l’objectif droit de la main ou avec le couvercle de l’objectif.
3. Ajustez le cadran de mise au point centrale (sur le pont entre les oculaires) jusqu’à ce que l’image présentée à votre œil gauche soit
claire et précise.
4. Couvrez la lentille de l’objectif gauche de la main ou avec le couvercle de l’objectif.
5. Ajustez le cadran d’ajustement dioptrique (du côté droit entre le corps des jumelles et l’œilleton droit) jusqu’à ce que l’image
présentée à votre œil droit soit claire et précise. Vos jumelles sont maintenant mises au point pour votre vue.
MISE AU POINT SUR LE TERRAIN
Pour effectuer des ajustements sur le terrain, tournez tout simplement le cadre de mise au point central tout en regardant dans les deux barillets.
NETTOYAGE
Nettoyez le corps blindé en essuyant tout simplement la poussière ou la saleté accumulée avec un chiffon humide, un détergent doux ou des
lingettes jetables.
Nettoyez les lentilles comme vous le feriez pour celles d’un appareil photo. Pour un nettoyage optimal, utilisez le système de nettoyage de
lentilles Leupold. Commencez en utilisant le pinceau pour retirer la poussière. Utilisez ensuite l’embout de nettoyage en microfibres imprégné
d’un composé de nettoyage spécial, non liquide, pour nettoyer le verre. Si vous n’avez pas de système de nettoyage de lentilles Leupold,
utilisez un pinceau de lentille courant pour retirer la poussière, puis de l’alcool pur, un nettoyant de verre de très bonne qualité ou de l’eau
distillée sur un coton-tige. Commencez au centre de la lentille, appliquez une pression minimale sur l’accessoire de nettoyage et un mouve-
ment circulaire tout en nettoyant délicatement vers le bord extérieur de la lentille.

ENFOQUE SEGÚN SU PROPIA AGUDEZA VISUAL
El enfoque de sus binoculares según su agudeza visual, conocido también como “establecimiento del ajuste de dioptrías”, es muy importante
ya que esto impedirá la fatiga ocular y le permitirá obtener una imagen clara y bien definida.
CÓMO AJUSTAR LOS BINOCULARES SEGÚN SU GRADUACIÓN DE LA VISTA
1. Observe un objeto que esté ubicado a aproximadamente de 50 a 100 yardas de distancia. Si usa binoculares con Tecnología Switch/
Power, seleccione el valor de alto aumento y para ello coloque el interruptor que está frente al cuadrante central de enfoque en la
posición apropiada. Será necesario colocar el interruptor en uno de ambos lados; no lo deje en el centro.
2. Cubra el lente de objetivo derecho con la mano o con la tapa del objetivo.
3. Ajuste el cuadrante central de enfoque (ubicado en el puente entre los lentes oculares) hasta que la imagen que aparece ante su ojo
izquierdo sea clara y nítida.
4. Cubra el lente de objetivo izquierdo con la mano o con la tapa del objetivo.
5. Ajuste el cuadrante de dioptrías (ubicado en el lado derecho entre el cuerpo del binocular y la goma de ocular derecha) hasta que la
imagen que aparece ante su ojo derecho sea clara y nítida. Ya están enfocados los binoculares de acuerdo con su graduación de la vista.
CÓMO ENFOCAR EN EL CAMPO
Para efectuar cualquier ajuste en el campo, sencillamente gire el cuadrante central de enfoque mientras observa a través de ambos cilindros.
LIMPIEZA
Limpie el cuerpo completamente blindado frotando con un paño húmedo, detergente suave o con paños húmedos desechables para eliminar
cualquier suciedad o polvo acumulado.
Limpie los lentes de la misma manera que lo haría con un lente de cámara. Para la limpieza óptima, use el Sistema de Limpieza de Lentes
Leupold. Comience con un cepillo para sacudir el polvo. Después use la punta de limpieza de microfibra, el cual está impregnado con un
compuesto de limpieza no líquido, para limpiar el vidrio. Si no dispone de un Sistema de limpieza de lentes Leupold, use un cepillo estándar
para lentes a fin de eliminar el polvo y después uso alcohol puro, un limpia vidrios de alta calidad, o agua destilada en un palillo con algodón.
Le sugerimos comenzar desde el centro del lente, aplique presión mínima sobre los accesorios de limpieza y use un movimiento circular,

FOKUSSIERUNG AM EINSATZORT
Um Einstellungen am Einsatzort vorzunehmen, drehen Sie einfach an der mittleren Fokusscheibe, während Sie durch beide Rohre blicken.
REINIGUNG
Reinigen Sie den voll gepanzerten Körper, indem Sie Schmutz oder Staub mit einem feuchten Lappen, milden Reinigungsmittel oder
Einwegwischtüchern abwischen.
Reinigen Sie die Linsen wie eine Kameralinse. Eine optimale Reinigung wird mit dem Leupold Lens Cleaning System erzielt. Entfernen Sie
zunächst möglichen Staub mit dem Pinsel. Verwenden Sie dann die Mikrofaser-Reinigungsspitze, die mit einer speziellen, nicht flüssigen
Reinigungskomponente imprägniert ist, um das Glas zu reinigen. Falls Sie kein Leupold Lens Cleaning System haben, verwenden Sie einen
Standardlinsenpinsel, um Staub zu entfernen, und dann reinen Alkohol, einen hochgradigen Glasreiniger oder destilliertes Wasser auf einem
Wattestäbchen. Beginnen Sie mit der Linsenmitte, wenden Sie nur minimalen Druck auf die Reinigungshilfe an und verwenden Sie eine
Kreisbewegung, um zur Linsenaußenkante hin zu reinigen.

Grazie per aver scelto il binocolo Leupold®Golden Ring®. Grazie al design, alla tecnologia, ai materiali e alla cura della lavorazione, l’utente
potrà utilizzare questo prodotto per tanti anni senza alcun problema. Il binocolo Leupold Golden Ring è molto semplice da usare, anche se
occorre metterlo a punto, in relazione alla propria vista, prima dell’uso. La messa a punto consiste nel regolare la distanza interpupillare e
nel mettere a fuoco gli oculari in relazione alla propria vista.
REGOLAZIONE DEGLI OCULARI MIRATA PER L’UTENTE
Tutti i binocoli Leupold Golden Ring sono dotati di oculari che si possono girare o spingere verso l’alto o il basso per l’uso più confortevole
con o senza occhiali da vista. Chi non porta gli occhiali può girare o tirare verso l’alto gli oculari in modo da allontanarli dalle lenti oculari
del binocolo. Chi porta gli occhiali può girare o tirare verso il basso gli oculari in modo che siano a filo con le lenti oculari del binocolo.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA DISTANZA INTERPUPILLARE
Per distanza interpupillare si intende la distanza tra le pupille degli occhi. Per vedere un’immagine non sdoppiata e nitida è necessario
regolare il binocolo in modo che la distanza tra i centri delle lenti degli oculari sia pari a quella tra le pupille degli occhi.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA DISTANZA INTERPUPILLARE
1. Verificare che il fermo del dispositivo per la distanza interpupillare (tra le due lenti sul ponte dei binocoli – non è presente nei modelli
provvisti di tecnologia Switch/Power™) sia posizionato su “unlocked” (sbloccato). Se necessario, girare l’indicatore sul quadrante.
2. Portare il binocolo agli occhi come si fa durante il suo normale utilizzo.
3. Guardare nel binocolo con entrambi gli occhi aperti.
4. Avvicinare o allontanare le due parti (cilindri) del corpo del binocolo fino a quando si vede una sola immagine circolare.
5. Posizionare il fermo della distanza interpupillare su “locked” (bloccato) agendo sull’apposito indicatore del quadrante.

MESSA A FUOCO IN RELAZIONE ALLA PROPRIA VISTA
La “regolazione diottrica” è un’operazione che permette di mettere a fuoco il binocolo in relazione alla propria vista. È un’operazione
importante perché permette non solo di evitare sforzi inutili agli occhi, ma anche di avere immagini chiare e vivide.
REGOLAZIONE DEI BINOCOLI IN BASE ALLA PROPRIA VISTA
1. Osservare un oggetto a 50 - 100 metri di distanza. Se il binocolo è dotato di tecnologia Switch/Power, selezionare l’ingrandimento
maggiore con il selettore situato davanti al quadrante centrale di messa a fuoco. Il selettore deve essere posizionato a destra o a
sinistra, non lasciarlo al centro.
2. Coprire la lente destra con la mano o con l’apposito coperchio.
3. Agire sul quadrante centrale di messa a fuoco (situato tra le due lenti, sul ponte) fino a quando l’occhio sinistro vede un’immagine
chiara e nitida.
4. Coprire la lente sinistra con la mano o con l’apposito coperchio.
5.
Agire sul comando di regolazione diottrica (situato sul lato destro tra il corpo del binocolo e la conchiglia oculare destra) fino a quando
l’immagine vista dall’occhio destro è chiara e nitida. A questo punto il binocolo è messo a fuoco in relazione alla propria vista.
MESSA A FUOCO SU CAMPO
Per eventuali ulteriori regolazioni durante l’uso sarà sufficiente girare il comando centrale di messa a fuoco mentre si guarda un oggetto
attraverso entrambi i cannocchiali.
PULIZIA
Eliminare polvere e impurità dal corpo del binocolo usando un panno inumidito in acqua e detergente delicato oppure utilizzando
dei fazzolettini detergenti usa e getta.
Pulire le lenti come se fossero gli obiettivi di una macchina fotografica. Per i migliori risultati usare il Leupold Lens Cleaning System (Sistema
pulente per obiettivi). Eliminare, per prima cosa, la polvere usando l’apposito spazzolino. Quindi, pulire il vetro con la punta in microfibre
impregnata di un composto speciale non liquido. Se non si dispone del Leupold Lens Cleaning System basta eliminare la polvere con uno
spazzolino per obiettivi e poi pulire con un bastoncino di ovatta e alcol puro, oppure un detergente di alta qualità per obiettivi o acqua
distillata. Pulire con movimenti circolari molto leggeri procedendo dal centro dell’obiettivo verso il bordo.
