Using your Leupold Green Ring binocular is very simple. However, you must
set them to match your eyesight before use. This is done by adjusting the
interpupillary distance and focusing the binoculars to your own visual acuity.
ADJUSTING INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE
The interpupillary distance is simply the distance between the pupils of your
eyes. To ensure a clear, single image, the binocular must be set so that the
center of each ocular lens is the same distance apart as your own pupils.
TO SET THE INTERPUPILLARY DISTANCE:
1. Hold the binocular up to your eyes in the normal manner.
2. Look through the binocular with both eyes open.
3. Move the two barrels (halves) up or down until you see a single,
circular image.

SETTING THE DIOPTER ADJUSTMENT
Setting the diopter adjustment of your binocular properly is very important, as
properly adjusted binoculars will prevent eye strain and provide you with a
crisp, sharp image.
TO SET THE DIOPTER ADJUSTMENT ON RIGHT EYEPIECE DIOPTER
ADJUSTMENT MODELS:
1. View an object about 100 yards in the distance.
2. Cover the right objective lens with your hand.
3. Adjust the center focus wheel (located between the two barrels) until
the image presented to your left eye is clear and sharp.
4. Cover the left objective lens with your hand.
5. Adjust the diopter adjustment dial until the image presented to your
right eye is clear and sharp.
Your binocular is now focused for your eyesight.
TO SET THE DIOPTER ADJUSTMENT ON CENTER FOCUS DIAL DIOPTER
ADJUSTMENT MODELS:
1. Pull up the lockable diopter adjustment dial on the top of the center
focus dial.

3. Cover the left objective lens with your hand.
4. Adjust the center focus wheel (located between the two barrels) until the
image presented to your right eye is clear and sharp.
5. Cover the right objective lens with your hand.
6. Adjust the diopter adjustment dial until the image presented to your left
eye is clear and sharp.
7. Push down the lockable diopter adjustment dial so that it locks into place.
Your binocular is now focused for your eyesight.
To make any adjustments in the field, simply turn the center focus dial while
viewing through both barrels.
CLEANING
You can clean the fully armored body by simply wiping off any accumulated
dirt or dust.
Clean the lenses as you would a camera lens. For optimal cleaning, use the
Leupold Lens Cleaning System. Begin by using the brush to whisk away dust.
Then use the microfiber cleaning tip, which is impregnated with a special
non-liquid cleaning compound, to clean the glass. If you don’t have a Leupold
Lens Cleaning System, use a standard lens brush to remove dust and then pure
alcohol, high-grade glass cleaner, or pure water on a cotton swab.

A NOTE FOR THOSE WHO WEAR EYEGLASSES
Leupold Green Ring binoculars feature eyecups you can twist, or push up and
down to accommodate the eye relief distance required when wearing eyeglasses.
Leupold Green Ring optics are engineered and manufactured to standards set
and monitored by the design engineers at Leupold’s plant in Oregon. The goal
is to provide you with reliable performance at a reasonable price.
Should service ever become necessary, these binoculars are backed by the
Leupold Limited Lifetime Warranty. All service work is performed by the
Leupold Product Service department in Beaverton, Oregon.
LEUPOLD PRODUCT SERVICE
If your Leupold Green Ring binocular fails to perform in any way, you may
return them directly to the Leupold factory for service. It is not necessary for
your dealer to ship the binocular to Leupold; however, they can be very
helpful in determining if factory service is necessary.

1. Include a note with your name, address, telephone number, e-mail, and
a description of the problem.

2. Pack the binocular in its original box (if you have it) or another suitably
strong shipping box.
3. Wrap the package securely using filament strapping tape on the outside.

We warrant them to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, and to
function satisfactorily under normal use conditions. All Leupold Green Ring
products are waterproof; however, all quality optics, if submerged, should
always be retrieved as quickly as possible.
If at any time a Leupold Green Ring product is found to have a defect in
materials or workmanship, Leupold will, at our discretion, repair or replace it
free of charge, when requested by the original owner.
The warranty is void if damage results from unauthorized repair, alteration,
or misuse. It is given solely to the original owner and is not transferable. To
activate the warranty, register the product on-line at www.leupold.com, or
complete the enclosed warranty card and mail as addressed.
This is considered a Leupold Limited Lifetime Warranty, and should not be
confused with the Leupold Full Lifetime Guarantee, which covers Leupold

L’écart interpupillaire est tout simplement la distance entre les pupilles des yeux. Pour assurer une image claire et simple, les jumelles doivent être réglées
pour que le centre de chaque oculaire ait le même écart que vos propres pupilles.
POUR RÉGLER L’ÉCART INTERPUPILLAIRE :
1. Mettez les jumelles devant vos yeux d’une manière normale.
2. Regardez dans les jumelles, les deux yeux ouverts.
3. Déplacez les deux barillets (moitiés) vers le haut ou vers le bas jusqu’à ce que vous voyiez une seule image circulaire.

Sollte Ihr Leupold Green Ring-Fernglas einmal nicht wie erwartet funktionieren, können Sie es zur Überarbeitung direkt ans Leupold-Werk einschicken.
Es ist nicht erforderlich, dass der Fachhändler das Fernglas an Leupold sendet. Er kann Ihnen jedoch bei der Entscheidung behilflich sein, ob eine
Werksüberarbeitung erforderlich ist.
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE DIE FOLGENDEN VERSANDANWEISUNGEN:
1. Legen Sie dem Paket eine Notiz mit den folgenden Informationen bei: Name, Adresse, Telefonnummer, E-Mail-Adresse und Beschreibung des Problems.
2. Packen Sie das Fernglas nach Möglichkeit in die Originalverpackung oder einen anderen geeigneten, festen Versandkarton ein.

dieses von Leupold im Ermessen der Firma auf entsprechendes Verlangen des Erstbesitzers kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO DEL BINOCOLO LEUPOLD® GREEN RING™
Il binocolo Leupold Green Ring è molto semplice da usare, anche se occorre metterlo a punto in relazione alla propria vista prima dell’uso. La messa a punto
consiste nel regolare la distanza interpupillare e nel mettere a fuoco gli oculari in relazione alla propria vista.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA DISTANZA INTERPUPILLARE
Per distanza interpupillare si intende la distanza tra le pupille degli occhi. Per vedere un’immagine non sdoppiata e nitida è necessario regolare il binocolo in
modo che la distanza tra i centri delle lenti degli oculari sia pari a quella tra le pupille degli occhi.
REGOLAZIONE DELLA DISTANZA INTERPUPILLARE:
1. Portare il binocolo agli occhi come si fa durante il suo normale utilizzo.
2. Guardare nel binocolo con entrambi gli occhi aperti.
3. Fare scorrere verso l’alto o il basso le due parti del corpo del binocolo fino a quando si vede una sola immagine circolare.
REGOLAZIONE DIOTTRICA
È molto importante eseguire correttamente la regolazione diottrica dello strumento per evitare l’affaticamento degli occhi e per avere immagini nitide e
ben definite.
REGOLAZIONE DIOTTRICA NEI MODELLI MUNITI DI REGOLAZIONE SULL’OCULARE DESTRO:
1. Osservare un oggetto a circa 100 metri di distanza.
2. Coprire con la mano la lente dell’oculare destro.
3. Agire sulla rotella centrale di messa a fuoco (situata tra i due cannocchiali) fino a quando l’occhio sinistro vede un’immagine chiara e nitida.
4. Coprire con la mano la lente dell’oculare sinistro.
5. Agire sul comando per la regolazione diottrica fino a quando l’occhio destro vede un’immagine chiara e nitida.
Il binocolo è pronto.
REGOLAZIONE DIOTTRICA NEI MODELLI DOTATI DI DISPOSITIVO DI MESSA A FUOCO CENTRALE:
1. Alzare la rotella per la regolazione diottrica situata nella parte superiore del dispositivo centrale di messa a fuoco.
2. Osservare un oggetto a circa 100 metri di distanza.
3. Coprire con la mano la lente dell’oculare sinistro.
4. Agire sulla rotella centrale di messa a fuoco (situata tra i due cannocchiali) fino a quando l’occhio destro vede un’immagine chiara e nitida.
5. Coprire con la mano la lente dell’oculare destro.
6. Agire sul comando per la regolazione diottrica fino a quando l’occhio sinistro vede l’immagine chiara e nitida.
7. Abbassare la rotella di regolazione diottrica fino a quando si blocca in posizione.
Il binocolo è messo a fuoco.
Per eventuali ulteriori regolazioni durante l’uso sarà sufficiente girare il comando centrale di messa a fuoco mentre si guarda un oggetto attraverso
entrambi i cannocchiali.

Gli orli degli oculari dei binocoli Leupold Green Ring possono essere rovesciati, spinti verso l’alto o il basso quanto basta per lasciare uno spazio libero
sufficiente per gli occhiali da vista.
RIPARAZIONI IN GARANZIA
Gli strumenti e i componenti ottici Leupold Green Ring vengono progettati e prodotti in ottemperanza ai parametri stabiliti e monitorati dagli ingegneri
dello stabilimento Leupold situato nell’Oregon. L’obiettivo della società è semplice: dare al cliente strumenti affidabili a prezzi ragionevoli.
Ciononostante, nell’eventualità di un malfunzionamento, questi binocoli sono protetti dalla Garanzia limitata a vita Leupold. Eventuali riparazioni vengono
eseguite dal Reparto di assistenza prodotti Leupold di Beaverton, nell’Oregon.
ASSISTENZA TECNICA LEUPOLD
In caso di malfunzionamento il binocolo Leupold Green Ring può essere spedito direttamente allo stabilimento Leupold per gli interventi del caso. Per spedire il
prodotto alla Leupold non è necessario rivolgersi al rivenditore, ma lo si può contattare per confermare la necessità della riparazione in fabbrica.
ISTRUZIONI PER LA SPEDIZIONE:
1. Il prodotto deve essere accompagnato da un foglio su cui siano scritti il proprio nome e cognome, indirizzo, numero di telefono, eventuale indirizzo di
posta elettronica e la descrizione del problema.
2. Mettere il binocolo nella sua scatola originaria (se la si è conservata) o in un altro tipo di scatola robusta idonea alla spedizione.
3. Proteggere bene il pacco avvolgendo la parte esterna con del nastro adesivo dotato di fili di rinforzo.
4. Spedire il binocolo usando un corriere o il servizio postale (se possibile, assicurare la spedizione) a uno dei seguenti indirizzi negli Stati Uniti:
