changing the manner in which an out-of-control board reacts as it contacts water or
ground during an out-of-control situation. The user of this product should understand

taz Hydrofoil Manual online at levitaz.com.
NOTICE!

sembly process. This may cause serious damage to
the product as control of torque and power is limited.
Doing so will render your warranty void.
NOTICE!
Over tightening screws can cause irreversible dama-
ge to the inserts. Doing so will render your warranty
void.
NOTICE!
Use the Inbus tool provided in the scope of delivery.
Using the wrong tool will damage the screw head
and create sharp edges that will cause harm.
NOTICE!
Ensure that all surfaces are free from dirt or sand pri-
or to the assembly. Pay close attention to the Board
Adapter on the foil system and the board tracks.

Use the four M8 bolts with washers and
T-Nuts for mounting which are supplied in
the accessory bag. Make sure that the se-
quence (bolt head, metal washer, plastic
washer) is correct.
Insert two T-Nuts with its washers and T-
Nuts into each track using the central track
entry points, ensuring the correct T-Nut
orientation is maintained. You may need
to perform some minor adjustments to the
T-Nut alignment in order for the T-Nuts to
locate correctly down into the central track
entry opening.
Slide the T-Nuts with its bolts and washers
towards the ends of the tracks.
4.1 ATTACHING YOUR LEVITAZ FOIL TO YOUR FOIL BOARD
WITH SLIDING TRACK SYTEM
The Levitaz BOOM Foil Boards have a track mounting system to work with the industry-
standard 165 x 90 mm bolt pattern to attach the foil system to the board.
It is very likely that other foil systems on the market will be compatible with your Levitaz
Foil Board. However no guarantees can be given. For best results, we recommend using
your Levitaz Foil Board with the Levitaz Hydrofoil System.

12
Position the mast plate of the assembled
foil in alignment with the tracks on the bot-
tom of the board. The leading edge of the
mast should be pointing towards the nose
of the board.
Slide the four bolts into the open fi xing
points of the mast plate and tighten the
bolts, so that they are still able to slide in
the tracks.
Slide the foil system, together with the loo-
sely tightened bolts and T-Nuts, along the
tracks into your desired position, using the
Foil Mounting Position Guide (chapter 4.3)
as a reference. When you are satisfi ed with
the positioning, tighten all the bolts fi rmly
using the Torx tool in a diagonal sequence
(1►2►3►4) until the foil system is fully
secured and the bolts are fi rmly tight.
(Tightening torque 9 +/- 1 Nm)

2. 4.

USER MANUAL FOILBOARDS 13
NOTICE!
Ensure that you tighten the bolts in a diagonal se-
quence until the foil system is fully secured and the
bolts are fi rmly tight. Tightening with the wrong se-
quence or wrong tightening torque will damage the
tracks and create sharp edges that will cause harm.
4.2 ATTACHING YOUR LEVITAZ FOIL TO YOUR FOIL BOARD
WITH TUTTLE BOX
Care about a safe underground and put
your board with bottom up on it.
Stabilize the board with one foot carefully
or ask somebody to hold your board.
Slide the mast with its tuttle head slowly
into the box while moving the mast from
nose to tail.
The leading edge of the mast should be
pointing towards the nose of the board.

14
NOTICE!
Ensure that you tighten the bolts in an alternating
sequence until the foil system is fully secured and
the bolts are fi rmly tight. Tightening with the wrong
sequence or wrong tightening torque will damage the
boards deck laminate, tuttle box, mast inserts and
create sharp edges that will cause harm.
When the mast has entered approximatel-
ly 90% into its fi nal position, you are ready
to fl ip the board.
Insert the enclosed two M6 counterhead
bolts into the designated holes (see dra-
wing on page 9) and tighten both bolts
fi rmly using the Torx tool in an alternating
sequence until the foil system is fully secu-
red and the bolts are fi rmly tight.
Re-tighten the bolts after a few minutes of
riding, as the mast will have found its fi nal
position inside the tuttle box.
(Tightening torque 9 +/- 1 Nm)

USER MANUAL FOILBOARDS 15
Only for sliding track systems
The further front the foil is mounted the more pressure you will have at your front foot.
For initial installation we recommend to mount the foil in a middle position and slowly
adjust the mounting position to fi nd your preferenced personal setting. You may consider
that diff erent Glider confi gurations require diff erent foil mounting positions.
Basically the more advanced the rider, the more front foot pressure makes sense. Ad-
ditionally the riders weight plays a keyrole for the correct position. Riders < 75 kg (< 165
lbs) might need less front foot pressure why they should position the foil further towards
the tail (-). Heavier riders will be able to control more front foot pressure and should posi-
tion the foil tendencially more to the front (+).
4.3 FOIL MOUNTING POSITION GUIDE
Inventory List
3 pcs Strap
6 pcs Single Washers
6 pcs Self-Tapping Screws
The Levitaz Straps are designed to fi t a range of possible positions allowing you to cus-
tomise your stance position to suit your personal preference and size.
On all Levitaz Foil Boards with strap screw inserts the base spacing between each insert
is 25 mm. For a narrow stance use the innermost screw inserts, for a wider stance move
outwards with a maximum stance option by using the outmost screw insert.
Please note that the Foot Strap scope of delivery does vary depending on the model. Not
every model is equipped with same straps and its accessories.
4.4 FOOT STRAPS INSTALLATION

16
NOTICE!
Do not use power tools for the assembly or disas-
sembly process. This may cause serious damage to
the product as control of torque and power is limited.
Doing so will render your warranty void.
NOTICE!
Tighten the screws fi rmly. Over tightening screws
can cause irreversible damage to the inserts. Doing
so will render your warranty void.
Ensure the straps, board, screw inserts
and screws are free from dirt and sand.
Place the plastic washer under the nylon
cover of the strap and line it with the screw
inserts on the board.
While holding back the nylon cover of the
strap, insert one screw through the plas-
tic washer into the screw insert of your
choice. Tighten the screw fi rmly.
Repeat for remaining strap end using the
dedicated plastic washer, metal washer
and screw.
Use same method as above for the instal-
lation of the remaining straps.

USER MANUAL FOILBOARDS 17
NOTICE!
For multiple asembly in same foot strap insert: Make
sure that you insert the screw into the pre-tapped
threads. The thread of initial mount should always be
reused. Non-observance will cause irreversible da-
mage to the inserts.
Backfoot Strap for Raze series
Insert the enclosed M6 counterhead bolt
through the footstrap into the desired rear
footstrap hole (see drawing on page 9)
and tighten fi rmly using the Torx tool.
