SAFETY INFORMATION
• Only use this humidifier as described in
this manual.
• Place the humidifier and cord so that the
humidifier will not be knocked over.
• When not in use, turn the humidifier o
and disconnect from power source by
removing the plug from the outlet.
• Do not overfill the water tank, as this
may cause electric shock.
• Do not use this humidifier in wet
environments.
• Keep the humidifier out of reach from
children.
• Do not open the base or remove the
water level sensor for self-servicing.
• Always unplug your humidifier from
the power outlet before cleaning your
humidifier or detaching the water tank
from the humidifier base.
• Always make sure the humidifier is
placed on a flat, level surface before
operation.
• Only fill the water tank with distilled
water. Never fill the water tank with any
other liquids.
• Do not place the humidifier near
sources of heat, such as stovetops,
ovens, or radiators.
• Do not place the humidifier directly on
floors, carpets, or rugs. Only place the
humidifier on water-resistant surfaces.
• Do not use attachments that are
not recommended by Levoit for this
humidifier.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other injury, follow all instructions and
safety guidelines.

INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not cover the nozzles while the
humidifier is on. Doing so may damage
the humidifier.
• Remove the water tank from the base
before moving the humidifier.
• Do not immerse the humidifier base,
power cord, or plug in water.
• Do not handle the power cord or plug
with wet hands. Keep the plug and
power cord away from liquids.
• Do not add essential oils,
supplemental water treatment
liquids, or third-party water filters
into the water tank or base. This
will damage the humidifier and
cause leaks. Only add essential
oils to the aroma pad.
• If the humidifier is damaged or is
not functioning properly, stop using
it and contact Customer Support
immediately (see page 18).

CONTROLS
On/O Button
Tap to turn your humidifier
on/o.
Mist Level Button
Tap to change the mist level.
There are 3 mist level settings.
Warm Mist Button
Tap to change or turn on/o
the warm mist setting. There
are 3 heat level settings.
Humidity Level Button
Tap repeatedly to set the
Relative Humidity (RH)
percentage between 40%
and 80%. The humidity on the
display will flash 5 times to
confirm your selection. To cancel
your selection, tap and hold
for 3 seconds.
Timer Button
You can set a timer between 1
and 12 hours.
Caution: The warm mist
produced may be hot. Do not
place your bare hands, face,
or other exposed skin over the
nozzles while using the warm
mist function.
Note: The same controls can be found on the included remote control.
Note:
• When you first turn on the
humidifier, the mist level
is 2.
• The humidifier will
remember your settings
(except Timer) when turned
o and left plugged in.
Note:
• Once the humidity percentage
of the environment reaches
the set RH percentage, the
humidifier will automatically
stop misting. It will start
misting again when the
humidity drops to 5% below
the set level.
• After setting the RH
percentage, the display will
alternate between showing
the set RH percentage
and the current humidity
percentage.
Note:
• The humidifier may take 15
minutes to warm up before
producing warm mist.
• The warm mist function
can be used with Auto
Mode.
• Tap repeatedly to
choose a time.
• When you stop tapping, the
display will flash 3 times and
the timer will start.
• To exit the timer function, tap
repeatedly or tap and
hold until the display shows
“-- --”.
• The humidifier will
automatically power o once
the timer is finished.

Auto Mode Button
Tap to start Auto Mode. The
humidifier will produce mist
as needed to maintain a
comfortable relative humidity
(RH) percentage.
GETTING STARTED
1. Remove the nozzle cap from the top of
the water tank. [Figure 1.1]
2. Pull up on the handle to remove the
water tank from the base. [Figure 1.1]
3. Flip the tank over and twist the water
tank cap counterclockwise to remove it.

4. Fill the tank with at least 475 mL / 2 cups
of cold or room temperature water. The
maximum capacity is 6.0 L / 1.5 gal.
Note:
• Changing the mist level will cancel the
Auto Mode function.
• The timer and warm mist setting can be
used with Auto Mode.
Note:
• Fill the water tank with distilled water to
maximize the life of your humidifier.
• Do not fill the water tank with hot water.
• Only add water through the water
tank cap. Do not add water through
the nozzles, mist tube, or into the inner
chamber.
• Only add essential oils to the aroma
pads. Do not add essential oils through
the nozzles, or into water tank or base.

USING YOUR
HUMIDIFIER
1. Place the humidifier on a level, elevated,
and water-resistant surface, such as a
table or nightstand. Make sure the room
is well-ventilated.

30 cm / 12 in away from walls and
appliances to prevent them from
getting wet. [Figure 2.1]
• Do not place the humidifier directly
on floors, carpets, or rugs.
• Direct the nozzles away from any
furniture to prevent your furniture
from getting wet.
5. Replace the water tank cap. Twist the
cap clockwise to secure it tightly to the
water tank. [Figure 1.3]
6. Carefully place the water tank back onto
the base, aligning the water tank cap
with the inner chamber. [Figure 1.4]
7. Place the nozzle cap back on top of the
water tank. [Figure 1.4]

2. Plug in the humidifier. The humidifier will
chime.

The remote control can be used to select
any functions of the humidifier from a
distance. It must be within 4.8 m / 16 ft of the
humidifier to work.
The display will automatically dim after 10
seconds of inactivity. To turn o the display,
press and hold for 3 seconds. To turn
the display back on, press any button,
except .
The humidifier will automatically turn o
and will appear when all of the water in
the tank has been diused. will show on
the display until more water is added to the
water tank. [Figure 4.1]
GENERAL OPERATION (CONT.)
Note:
• When you first turn on the
humidifier, the default mist level is 2.
• The 2 nozzles on the nozzle cap
can rotate 360° to diuse mist in
any direction.
• Do not attempt to inhale the mist
directly from the nozzles.
Note:
• Remove the plastic tab from the remote
control’s battery compartment before
using. [Figure 3.1]
• To replace the battery, see page 15.
Note: You can also press on the
remote control to turn the display on/o.
Note: If the relative humidity in your
room is over 68%, use the low mist
setting or turn o the humidifier.
Note: The humidifier will be able to run
for a longer or shorter time depending
on the environmental temperature and
humidity.

3. Tap once to turn on the humidifier.
The humidifier will start misting. If there
is no water in the tank, will light
up. Unplug the humidifier and refill the
water tank (see Getting Started, page
9).
4. Optionally, tap the mist level controls to
change the mist level.

Your humidifier can be used as an aroma
diuser.
Using the Aroma Box
1. Turn o the humidifier.
2. Pull out the aroma box on the left side
of the humidifier. [Figure 5.1]
3. Put 2-3 drops of essential oil on the
aroma pad. [Figure 5.2]
4. Place the aroma box back into the
humidifier. Fill the water tank with water
and place it back on the base (see
Getting Started, page 9).
5. Plug in and turn on the humidifier.
Note:
• Do not add essential oils, supplemental
water treatment liquids, or third-party
water filters into the water tank or base.
[Figure 5.3] Only add essential oils to
the aroma pad.
• The aroma pad can be cleaned and
reused after diusing essential oils (see
Cleaning the Aroma Pad, page 15).

PREVENTING WATER
LEAKS
• Make sure the silicone ring around the
water tank cap is secured at all times.
[Figure 6.1]
• Twist and secure the cap tightly onto
the water tank. [Figure 6.2]
Note: A small gap between the cap
and the tank is normal.
• Before moving the humidifier, remove
the tank from the base and empty any
excess water from the inner chamber.
• Wipe o any excess water on the top
and bottom of the base.
• Do not shake the humidifier or place
it on an inclined surface. Make sure
to place the humidifier on a flat, level
surface. [Figure 6.3]

KEEPING THINGS
CLEAN
Caution:
• Always make sure the humidifier is
unplugged before cleaning.
• After using the warm mist setting, the
water in the inner chamber may still be
warm after turning o the humidifier.
Allow the humidifier to cool before
cleaning. Use caution when pouring out
the water.
• Do not use liquid detergents.
• Use distilled water instead of tap water
to prevent hard water buildup.
• Do not submerge the base in water.
• Clean your humidifier once or twice a
week.
General Cleaning
You should clean the humidifier every 3
days. Change the water every day or every
other day to avoid bacteria growth.
1. Unplug the humidifier.
2. Remove the nozzle cap from the water
tank and rinse under clean, running
water. Set it aside to air dry.
3. Remove the water tank from the base
and pour out any water from the inner
chamber. Fill the tank with 710 mL /
3 cups of distilled white vinegar.
Replace the cap and gently shake to
coat all sides of the water tank. Allow it
to sit for at least 1 hour.
4. Remove the mist channel and mist
tube. Detach the mist tube from the
mist channel by twisting the tube
counterclockwise. [Figure 6.1] Rinse
both parts in clean water and dry
thoroughly.
5. Remove the absorption pad inside the
heating element and rinse under clean
water. Dry the pad with a clean, dry
cloth.
6. Add 238 mL / 1 cup of distilled white
vinegar to the inner chamber and soak
for 1 hour.
7. Use the included cleaning brush to
remove any scale buildup inside the
water tank or in the inner chamber.

Note: Do not submerge the base in

deep clean the humidifier.

Note: Make sure the polarities match.
Note: Do not pour liquid cleaners or
detergents into the aroma pad or box.
Note: A 3% hydrogen peroxide solution
may also be used instead of vinegar
to disinfect the humidifier. Do not mix
hydrogen peroxide and vinegar.
9. Dry all parts with a clean, dry cloth.
Make sure all parts of the humidifier are
completely dry before reassembling or
storing.
10. Do not use the humidifier immediately
after disinfecting. This may be a health
hazard.
8. Pour out the vinegar from the water tank
and the inner chamber and thoroughly
rinse with warm water.
1. Pull out the aroma box.
2. Remove the aroma pad.and rinse under
warm, running water.
3. Dry with a clean cloth and place it back
into the aroma box.
1. Remove the battery compartment by
pinching the tab in and pulling the
compartment out. [Figure 7.1]
2. Remove the old battery.
3. Replace with a new 3V CR2025 battery.
KEEPING THINGS CLEAN (CONT.) Deep Cleaning the Humidifier
Deep clean the water tank every 2 weeks
and before and after storing the humidifier
for long periods of time. You should also
disinfect if there is any mold buildup inside
the water tank or inner chamber.
1. Fill the water tank with 238 mL / 1 cup
of vinegar along with 3.8 L / 1 gal of
distilled water.
2. Place the humidifier outdoors and allow
it to run for 1 hour.
3. Pour out the mixture and refill with
distilled water. Then, run the humidifier
for another hour outdoors.
4. Rinse the water tank and inner chamber
thoroughly under clean, running water.
5. If storing, allow the water tank and
base to completely air dry before
reassembling.

Humidifier uses water too
quickly.
The humidifier uses up water based on the environmental
temperature and humidity. If your environment is cold and/or
dry, the humidifier will run out of water faster.
Humidifier produces an
unusual smell.
If the humidifier is new, remove the water cap, and place the
water tank in a cool, dry place for 12 hours.
If essential oils were diused on the aroma pad, rinse the
pad under clean water, and allow it to dry.
Clean the humidifier (see Keeping Things Clean, page
14).
Humidifier makes a loud or
unusual noise.
Make sure the water tank is properly in place (see Getting
Started, page 9).
Place humidifier on a flat, level surface.
Add at least 475 mL / 2 cups of distilled water into the water
tank.
The humidifier may be malfunctioning. Stop using the
humidifier and contact Customer Support (see page 18).
Mist comes out from the
base.
Make sure the water tank is properly in place (see Getting
Started, page 9).
White dust appears around
the humidifier.
Use distilled water to fill the humidifier. Avoid using water
with high mineral content.
Clean the humidifier (see Keeping Things Clean, page
14).

Problem Possible Solution
Water visibly leaks from the
humidifier.
Stop using the humidifier and see Preventing Water Leaks
(page 13) before using again. If the humidifier continues
leaking, contact Customer Support (see page 18).
A puddle of water forms
around the humidifier. Run the humidifier on a lower mist setting.
Open a window to ensure proper airflow for your humidifier,
or move the humidifier to a more well-ventilated room.
Make sure the water tank is properly in place (see Getting
Started, page 9).
When replacing the water tank, wipe o excess water from
the water tank and base.
Stop using the humidifier and see Preventing Water Leaks
(page 13) before using again. If the humidifier still leaks,
contact Customer Support (see page 18).
Mist is not warm after
pressing .
Allow the humidifier to heat up for about 15 minutes to
produce warm mist.
Clean the heating element of the humidifier (see Keeping
Things Clean, page 14).
Incorrect humidity
percentage is displayed.
The room may be larger than the humidifier’s eective
range. Move to a room smaller than 40–70 m² / 430–753 ft².
Moisture may have built up inside of the humidity sensor.
Turn o the humidifier and allow the sensor to air dry. Make
sure the nozzles are facing away from the sensor.
The humidifier does not
respond to the remote. Move remote control to within 4.8 m / 16 ft of the humidifier.
Remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment.
Change the battery (see Replacing the Remote Control
Battery, page 15).

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Benutzen Sie diesen Luftbefeuchter nur
gemäß den Beschreibungen in dieser
Anleitung.
• Platzieren Sie den Luftbefeuchter und
sein Kabel so, dass er nicht umgestoßen
werden kann.
• Wird der Luftbefeuchter nicht benutzt,
schalten Sie ihn aus und trennen Sie ihn
von der Stromversorgung, indem Sie
den Stecker abziehen.
• Überfüllen Sie den Wasserbehälter
nicht, da dies einen Stromschlag zur
Folge haben könnte.
• Benutzen Sie diesen Luftbefeuchter
nicht in feuchten Umgebungen.
• Halten Sie den Luftbefeuchter von
Kindern fern.
• Önen Sie nicht das Unterteil und
entfernen Sie nicht die Füllstandanzeige
zwecks Eigenwartung.
• Trennen Sie Ihren Luftbefeuchter immer

Vorleger. Stellen Sie den Luftbefeuchter

Zubehörteile, die vom Hersteller als
Ersatzteile für diesen Luftbefeuchter
empfohlen werden.
• Decken Sie die Düse nicht ab, wenn
der Luftbefeuchter eingeschaltet ist.

Luftbefeuchter beschädigen.
• Entfernen Sie den Wasserbehälter vom
Unterteil, bevor Sie den Luftbefeuchter
