Advertencia General / General Warning
Los ventiladores LFANS suelen instalarse en estructuras de acero o vigas de hormigón. El usuario/
instalador se asegurará de que la estructura de el edicio puede soportar el peso del ventilador y el
par de unos 50 Nm debido a la rotación del ventilador. Con el n de garantizar la seguridad de los
trabajadores debajo y alrededor del ventilador, si se observa alguna alteración en los elementos de
jación del ventilador, se escucha un sonido anormal en funcionamiento o se parecia algún defecto
en cualquiera de sus partes, especialmente el aspa. Reduzca la velocidad y apague el ventilador

LFANS Commercial fan RTF-SF Series are usually installed on steel structures or concrete beams. The
user/intallator shall ensure that the structure of the building can withstand the weight of the fan and
the torque of about 50Nm due to the rotation of the fan. In order to ensure the safety of operators
under and around the fan, if it is observed that the fasteners of the fan are loosening, falling off, or
the abnormal sound is heard while the fan is in operation, and the main body of the fan, especially
the blade, is found to be defective, etc. Please slow down and switch off the fan immediately, then
inform LFANS or local authorized dealer.

Cualquier personal de instalación debe aprobar la formación de instalación y seguridad de LFANS
o distribuidor autorizado. Es imprescindible hacer un seguimiento de las normas de seguridad para
trabajos en altura nacionales o locales. Disponer de los equipos de protección individual de seguridad
necesarios durante trabajo de instalación, y asegúrese de que los dispositivos anticaídas dispuestos
son los adecuados a la norma. Es necesario señalizar la zona de la instalación para evitar la entrada de
personal no autorizado. Antes de inciar los trabajos de la instalación eléctrica, la luz debe estar cortada

Any installation personnel must pass installation and safety training from LFANS or authorized dealer
before installation/operation. It is a Must to follow up with national or local safety regulations, to
put on necessary safety protection wears or equipment during installation work; and ensure the
climbing device is stable and reliable; set up a striking mark within the scope of the operation during
installation to avoid the entry of unrelated personnel enter the area; Before installing the electronic
control box and other electrical equipment, the power must be cut off and clearly marked at the
power source under construction.
Advertencia de mantenimiento / Maintenance warning
Antes de cualquier operación de mantenimiento, se debe interrumpir el suminsitro eléctrico. Los
operarios que la realicen, llevarán de forma obligataria, equipos de protección individual para trabajos
en altura de acuerdo a la norma local. Se dispondrán señales de advertencia para evitar el paso de
personas por los lugares con riesgo de caída de alguna pieza del ventilador durante las operaciones
de mantenimiento.
The power supply must be cut off before the maintenance operation and the maintenance operation
should be clearly marked. Work at height safety protection equipment must be worn during the

Especicaciones /Especications
Los ventiladores LFANS HVLS (high-volume, low speed) son un ventiladores de techo de gran tamaño
con un diámetro superior a los 2m. Sus aspas de forma estilizada, han sido desarrolladas con avanzada
tecnología aerodinámica, gracias a lo cual, con una potencia mínima, son capaces de desplazar grandes
cantidades de aire, creando un ujo constante de viento natural en todas direcciones, de gran
cobertura, reduciendo la sensación térmica de los trabajadores en el área de inuencia, renovando
además el aire del espacio e incidiendo en los niveles de humedad relativa.
LFANS HVLS(high-volume, low speed) fan is a super large ceiling fan with a diameter up to
2m. Their airfoil blade are streamlined which was developed with the technologies and advantage of
aerodynamic. Just with a minimum power are able to move a mass of air and produce a larger scale
of natural wind to all directions. The air passes over human skin thereby bring a lower temperature
sensation, while air exchange with outside fresh air rapidly through the window or roof ventilator,
reducing the turbid air and providing people a comfortable environment.

All listed clearances should be measured prior to installation, ensure fan has adequate clearance in
all directions when operating (see gure below)
Precauciones de instalación / Installation Precautions
El peso del ventilador es de 50 kg y el par máximo es de unos 50 Nm. El espacio libre desde el

Para el techos inclinados, la el espacio libre, debe de tomar como referencia el extemo del aspa, para
eivtar que las aspsas rocen el techo y que no afecte a la aerodinámica del ujo de aire.Si la distancia
entre el techo y las aspas es demasiado corto, esto afectará la rendimiento del ventilador.
The maximum weight of the fan is 50kg and the maximum torque is about 50N m. The clearance from
the fan to the roof (no matter what the roof structure) is the distance between the location of the
lowest part of the fan (nearest to the ground) and the installation of the upper connecting frame of
the fan. For the inclined roof, the required distance should be moved to the tip of the blade, otherwise,
it may cause the blade tip to collide with the roof or affect the smooth ow of airow because the
distance between the roof and the blade is too short Overall, it is necessary to maintain reasonable
fan blade and roof space to ensure wide air ow.

Cada tipo de estructura de jación requiere un soporte de montaje especíco, el ventilador L4 HVLS
puede instalarse en: una viga en H, en viga de marco rígido o viga de hormigón. Para edicios con
una estructura de instalación diferente, se debe solicitar un conjunto adicional de soportes de fábrica,
consulte LFANS o su distribuidor local autorizado.
Each type of building structure requires a specic mounting bracket, the Commercial series HVLS fan
can only be hung from standard mounted with an H-Beam, Rigid frame beam or Concrete beam. For
buildings with a different installation structure, an additional set of brackets can be customized from
factory, please consult LFANS or local authorized dealer.

AVISO /WARNING
El ventilador se puede sujetar fácilmente en cualquier viga H de acero, sin alterar la estructura de acero.
El dispositivo de anclaje se puede ajustar al ancho de la viga (80mm-220mm). (ver gura 1)
Connect with Steel H-Beam by adjustable standard clip device, the fan can be easily clip on any steel
H-beam, without changing any steel structure.The device can be adjusted according the width of the
beam(80mm-220mm). (gure 1)

El sistema de jación esta estructura consiste en un sandwich de pletinas que abrazan la viga con un
sistema de varillas roscadas que las unen, el dispositivo se puede ajustar según el ancho del haz (80
mm-400 mm). (gura 3)
Connect with Rigid Frame Beam, the standard device is xed by threaded rod on the rigid
frame beam, the device can be adjusted according the width of the beam (80mm-400mm). (gure 3)

El extensor se emplea para ajustar la altura del ventilador para respetar los espacios de seguridad de
uso del mismo. Conecte los extremos de la barra con soporte y el motor del ventilador haciendo uso
de la tornillería suminsitrada (gura 4)
The length of extension rod is customized according to the actual situation of building, it is used to
adjust the installation height of fan. Connect the ends of extension rod with Mounting Bracket and
drive device by bolts.(gure 4)

Fije el motor al barra extensor haciendo uso de la tornillería suministrada, asegúrese de nivelar el plano
del rotor a 180º (Figura 5).
Fix it to the extension rod by using bolts, and use the adjustable arc-shaped groove to make sure the
drive device at a vertical level position (Figure 5).

Dado el peso del motor recomendamos el uso de un polipasto para su izado y colocación, y en su
defecto que lo hagan 2-3 operarios /due to the weight of the motor we recommend the use of a
hoist for lifting and positioning, and failing that, the participation of 2-3 operators.
AVISO /WARNING
No quite el tapón de aceite hasta que el ventilador esté correctamente
montado. Si se retira el tapón de aceite antes el ventilador está
montado, el aceite en el reductor de la caja de engranajes puede
derramarse / Do not remove oil plug until fan is properly mounted. If
the oil plug is removed before the fan is mounted, oil in the gear box
reducer may spill out.

Before wiring, please make sure the power is off . Then connect with power supply. If the factory power
supply is 380V, motor is wired according to the y-type wiring method; If the power is 220V, motor is

Colocación de cables estabilizadores / Installation of Balancing Wire Rope
Cada ventilador usa 4 cables de acero para estabilizar su posición. Asegúrese de que el ángulo entre
cada cable y el motor es de 45 grados, un ángulo distinto afectará a la tensión del cable y a su ecacia.
Por favor, siga las siguientes pautas:
• Hay que colocar los cables antes de instalar las aspas.
• Utilice cuatro cables de seguridad por ventilador, con 3 perrillos por cable. (ver dibujo)
• Aplicar tensión a todos los cables por igual de forma gradual, usando el nivel para asegurar que el
motor mantine la vertical (90º).
Each fan has 4 steel wire ropes. Please ensure the angle between each steel wire and the drive device
is 45 degree, too big or small angle will affect the strength of the steel wires. Please adhere to the
following guide lines:
• Attach the balancing wire rope before you install the blades
• Use four safety cable per fan, with 3 clamps per rope.
• Using the turnbuckle to tighten each steel wire rope gradually, and use the leveling instrument to
make sure the drive device of fan at a vertical level position.

The fan blade pin has been installed onto the fan wheel hub, just insert the airfoil blade onto the blade
pin and x it by bolts. The correct direction of blade installation should be the blade upwind surface
(thick, round part of the blade) the highest, blade leeward surface gradually downward. (see draw)

Revisión de seguridad /Check & Adjust & Debug
Revise toda la tornillería / Check connection bolts
Al completar los pasos de instalación anteriores, verique dos veces y asegúrese de que todos Los
pernos de sujeción son proporcionados por LFANS y están debidamente instalados y ajustados.
Upon completion of the above installation steps, double check and ensure that all fastening bolts are
provided by LFANS and are properly installed and fastened.
Revise los cables de seguridad / Inspection on tension of Steel wire
Compruebe si el cable de acero de seguridad de alrededor de la viga está instalado correctamente,
convenientemente cerrado, y verique dos veces el grado de tensión de los cuatro cables de
estabililización para garantizar la perpendicularidad del soporte del motor y el equilibrio del chasis.
Check if the wire rope around the beam is installed correctly, make sure the rope head is locked; and
double check tensioning degree of the four fastening wire ropes to ensure the perpendicularity of the
motor support and the balance of the chassis.
Revise el estado de las aspas / Fan blade condition check
El aspa del ventilador está hecha de aleación de aluminio y pintada con un tratamiento de horneado
especial de uorocarbono. Manipule con cuidado durante la instalación para evitar arañazos, golpes o
deformaciones. Cualquier daño en las aspas del ventilador puede causar ruido durante el funcionamiento.
En caso de que ocurra algún daño, comuníque con LFANS o con el distribuidor/distribuidor local para
reemplazar la pieza.
The fan blade is made of aluminum alloy material with special uorocarbon baking paint treatment.
Please handle with care during installation to avoid scratches, crash or deformation. Any damage on
fan blade might cause noise during operation. In case any damage occurs, contact LFANS or local
distributor/dealer to replace.

No maintenance is required until third year since installation date. Please contact LFANS to schedule
an appointment in order to review your fans. We will check:
Conecte el suminsitro del ventilador en el cuadro eléctirico
Ponga en control en la posición “on”, la velocidad por defecto es de 20hz.
Mantenga por 30 segundos la velocidad del ventilador al mínimo, después ajuste a la velocidad
deseada.
Switch on the air switch in the box to connect with the power supply.
Switch to “Run” position, fan default runs at the speed of 20Hz.
Remain the fan speed in low speed for 30 seconds and then turn the speed knob to the required
speed.

Resolución de problemas /Trouble Shooting
La secuencia de fases de potencia no es correcta. Cambie el esquema del cableado

The power phase sequence is not correct, change the wiring again.
El ventilador está funcionando en la dirección incorrecta / The fan is running in wrong direction
El ruido puede provenir de las aspas y puede deberse a que las aspas no están apretadas al par de
fuerza especicado, corte la energía en el controlador VFD y apriete el conector de las aspas del
ventilador al par especicado. Si aún se produce un ruido, verique la jación de las aspas al propio
conector. Si la conexión está bien, disminuya la velocidad y apague el ventilador y póngase en contacto
con LFANS o su distribuidor local para resolver el problema.
The fan blade popping noise may come from the blades are not tightened to the specied torque, cut
off power at VFD controller and tighten the fan blade fastener to the specied torque. If popping noise
still occurs, please check the connection between fan blade and Hub. If the connect is ok, please slow
down and switch off the fan, then contact LFANS or local authorized distributor.

El ruido audible de alta frecuencia es normal durante el funcionamiento del ventilador, si excede su
rango aceptable, o siente que el ruido puede ser el resultado de una fallo mecánico, póngase en

Audible high frequency noise is normal during fan operation, if it exceeds your acceptable range,
or you feel that the noise maybe a result of mechanical failure, please contact with LFANS or local
authorized distributor.

1. After you purchase this product, please send the completed(Dealer’s copy) and the invoice copy to
the local distributor of the company within 15 days.
2. The dealer will carry out tracking service for the product, and manufacturer warrants the Product listed in the table
below will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and
maintenance for the applicable Warranty Period

1. Failure to follow the HVLS Ceiling Fan installation instructions and any other installation-related instructions supplied
with the Product and related equipment.
2. Failure to follow electrical engineering industry standard for installation of electrical equipment similar to the Product
and its related component.
3. Failure or damage caused by the user’s unauthorized replacement of the internal parts of the fan.
4. Damaged or malfunction of parts caused by the user’s non-conforming environment.
5. Failure or damage caused by user’s incorrect installation or other human factors.
6. Failure to provide reasonable and necessary regular maintenance as details on instruction manual
7. No warranty or guarantee, unless and except by separate written agreement, is made regarding the volume of air
movement generated by any Product or the effectiveness, tness, or appropriateness of any Product for its intended
purpose or for the Customer’s particular application.
8. Failure or damage caused to the Product by structural defects, structural movement or settlement of the premises in
which the Product is installed.
9. Failure or damage caused by force majeure factors(such as re, earthquake, etc.).
The following conditions are not covered by the warranty:
