How to Use
Pairing
Multi-connection
- Before using the headset for the rst time, you must pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled
handset.
- To pair your headset with an additional handset, the headset must be placed in
Pairing Mode.
- There are 2 Pairing Mode Methods with the HBS-730.
Easy Pairing (First Time Pairing)
1. Move the power switch to the ‘ON’ side to turn on the HBS-730. When the headset
enters Pairing Mode, the LED indicator will show a solid blue light.
2. Using your handset, nd the Bluetooth Menu and “search for” or “add” new
devices.
• Select “LG HBS730” from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.
3. If asked for the Pass/PIN code please enter “0000” (4 Zeros).
* Note : If your handset supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), you will not need to
enter Pass/PIN code.
• Once pairing has completed successfully, you will hear “Your headset paired.”.
4. Some handsets might ask for permission to access the phone’s contact list. If you
receive a message from your handset, please select “OK” or “Allow access”
• The HBS-730 will automatically turn off if not paired within 3 minutes.
Manual Pairing (Pairing with another phone or re-pairing)
• With the Power off, press the CALL button and move the power switch to the ‘ON’
side at the same time for 1 second.
• When the headset enters Pairing Mode, the LED indicator will show a solid blue
light. After the procedure repeat Easy Pairing steps 2 through 4.
Advanced Multipoint
The HBS-730 is capable of having two devices connected to the headset at the same
time. This will give you the freedom of using call waiting between calls on both of your
connected phones.

Connection
- Pair the headset with one of your Bluetooth-enabled handsets. (per the pairing
instructions on page 2).
- Turn off the headset.
- With the Power off, press the CALL button and move the power switch to the ‘ON’
side at the same time for 1 second to enter Manual Pairing mode.
- Now, pair and connect the headset with your other Bluetooth-enabled handset. (this
will be your primary handset).
- Once this handset is paired and connected, go back and connect the originally
paired handset to the headset. This will now be your secondary handset.
* NOTE: When the HBS-730 is connected to two handsets at the same
time(Multipoint), the headset calling functions will work with the primary handset.
* NOTE: In case of failure to connect to the primary phone through Easy Pairing,
HBS-730 will enter pairing mode.
Auto Reconnect
- If the HBS-730 is turned off (either accidentally or intentionally) while connected to
a handset, the headset and handset will disconnect. The headset and handset will
automatically reconnect when the HBS-730 is turned back on while in range.
- Secondary handset need to be connected via selecting “LG HBS730” from the list of
devices at Bluetooth menu.
Out of range
- If the paired devices are separated by a range of 10 meters(33 feet) or more, the
headset and handset will disconnect and HBS-730 will vibrate to alert.
- If the headset and handset do not automatically reconnect when they are back
within the required range, briey press the CALL button on the HBS-730 to
reconnect manually.
* It is possible to use these functions only when your handset supports them. For
further information about using these features, please consult your handset’s user
manual.
- While in multi-connection and streaming, non-streaming paired device which is out
of range will be disconnected and HBS-730 will alert once and not try to reconnect.

Volume Control
- Briey press the VOLUME button.
Charging
- When the charger is connected, with the power on or off, the headset will turn off.
- While charging, the LED indicator will show a solid red light.
- When charging is complete, the LED indicator will turn off.
Battery status check
- Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button for 1 second.
- There are 3 levels of battery status
Battery status High Medium Low
Voice Prompt Battery High Battery Medium Battery Low
- HBS-730 battery status indicator will appear on the iPhone screen.
Low battery
- An announcement will be made once every 2 minutes.
- If the battery is not charged, the headset will turn off.
Answering a call / Ending a call
- When there is an incoming call, the headset will ring and vibrate.
- Briey press the VOLUME DOWN button to stop vibration.
- Briey press the CALL button.
Last number redial
- Press and hold the CALL button for 1second to activate “Last Number Redial”.
The headset will beep, and call the last number dialed.
Making a call
- If you ma ke a call from the handset, the call will (subject to phone settings)
automatically transfer to the headset. If the call is not automatically transferred, you
can manually transfer the call by press and hold VOLUME UP button for 3 seconds.
Voice dialing
- Briey press the CALL button to activate “Voice Command”.
Note: If the handset does not support Voice Dialing, it is possible that performing
this action will activate Last Number Redial.
Transferring a call
- While on a call on your handset, press and hold VOLUME UP button for 3 seconds
to transfer the audio either from headset to handset or from handset to headset.
Call waiting
- Answer a second call without hanging up the rst call by pressing the CALL button
for 1 second (you will hear a beep). Press the CALL button for 1second to turn to
the original call.

Equalizer
- While playing music, press and hold VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons
simultaneously for 1 second to switch between EQ’s (Bass Boost(Default) g
Normal gTreble Boost).
- EQ is not changed if your handset supports aptX®code and is enabled.
- The bass coming from the speakers can vary as a result of the size of the Earbud
that is being used.
SMS Reader
The HBS-730 Bluetooth headset supports SMS reading on
Android TM based devices.
In Google Play™ Store search for the LG ‘BT Reader’
application and install on your device to use this function.
* The 2D barcode shown below helps you download the LG
‘BT Reader’ application from Google Play™ Store. Google
Play is a trademark of Google, Inc.
aptX®
- HBS-730 features aptX®technology that ensures audio content transmitted over
Bluetooth is instant and crystal-clear.
- aptX®is automatically enabled as long as the source device supports it.
- Briey press the CALL button to terminate the active call or both calls at once.
(subject to handset’s support)
Call Reject
- Press the CALL button for 1second when the handset rings.
Mic Mute
- Press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons simultaneously for 1
second to mute/unmute the Mic during conversation.
Audio streaming
- PLAY : Briey press the PLAY/PAUSE Button.
- PAUSE : Briey press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
- STOP : Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button.
- NEXT SONG : Briey press the FF button.
- PREVIOUS SONG : Briey press the REW button.
- FAST FORWARD : Press and hold the FF button.
- REWIND : Press and hold the REW button.

Do not drop the unit from high places.
Do not modify, repair, or take apart.
Do not expose directly to water, alcohol, benzene, etc. for cleaning.
Do not expose directly to ammables.
Do not place or keep the unit near ammables.
Keep unit away from humidity & dust.
Do not place heavy objects on the unit.
Only use the headset with an original LG charger, otherwise it may be damaged.
• Changes or modications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compli-
ance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
• There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
• Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
• The neck strap is made of a shape memory alloy. However, bending the neck strap
repeatedly is not recommended.

Additional Information
1. Radio frequency exposure
This Bluetooth®Headset, HBS-730, is a radio transmitter and receiver. When in operation,
it communicates with a Bluetooth®equipped mobile device by receiving and transmitting
radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic elds (microwaves) in the frequency range 2.4 to
2.4835 GHz.
Your Bluetooth®Headset is designed to operate in compliance with the RF exposure
guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when used
any compatible LG Electronics mobile phone.
2. Potentially explosive atmosphere
Turn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere. It
is rare, but your electronic device could generate sparks. Sparks in such areas could cause
an explosion or re resulting in bodily injury or even death. Areas with a potentially explosive
atmosphere are often, but not always, clearly marked.
3. Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery or one that
has not been used for a long period of time could have reduced capacity the rst few times
it is used. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above +60°(+140°F) or
under -20°(-4°F). For maximum battery capacity, use the battery in room temperature. If the
battery is used in low temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced. The battery can
only be charged in temperatures between +10°(+50°F) and +45°(+113°F). For your safety,
do not remove the battery incorperated in the product.
If you need to replace the battery, take it to the nearest authorised LG Electronics service
point or dealer for assistance.
4. Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth®Headset
The battery in your Bluetooth®Headset must be disposed of properly and should never be
placed in municipal waste. The LG Electronics service partner removing battery will dispose
of it according to local regulations.
5. Conditions
- The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original purchaser by the
dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial number, is presented with the product
to be repaired or replaced. LG Electronics reserves the right to refuse warranty service if
this information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of the product
from the dealer.
- If LG Electronics repairs or replaces the product, the repaired or replaced product shall
be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period or for ninety (90)
days from the date of repair, whichever is longer. Repair or replacement may involve
the use of functionally equivalent reconditioned units. Replaced parts or components
will become the property of LG Electronics.

- This Warranty does not cover any failure of the product due to normal wear and tear, or
due to misuse, including but not limited to use in other than the normal and customary
manner, in accordance with instructions for use and maintenance of the product. Nor
does this warranty cover any failure of the product due to accident, modication or

- This warranty does not cover product failures due to improper repair installations,

Avoiding hearing damage
Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use your Handsfree car kit at a high volume.
Set the volume to a safe level. You can adapt over time to a higher volume of sound
that may sound normal but can be damaging to your hearing.
If you experience ringing in your ears or mufed speech, stop listening and have your
hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before your hearing
could be affected. Hearing experts suggest that to protect your hearing:
• Limit the amount of time you use Headset at high volume.
• Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
• Turn the volume down if you can’t hear people speaking near you.
Please refer to your handset user guide for more information on how to adjust listening
levels on your handset.
Using Headset safely
Use of Headset to listen to music while operating a vehicle is not recommended and
is illegal in some areas. Be careful and attentive while driving. Stop using this device if
you nd it disruptive or distracting while operating any type of vehicle or performing any
other activity that requires your full attention.

使用方法

配对
- 为正常使用LG HBS-730，必须先与设备(带有蓝牙功能的手机或者媒体产品以下简
称设备)进行配对。配对过程一般只需一次，大部分设备在正常状态下不需要进
行多次配对。
- 设备要与HBS-730配对时，HBS-730必须处于配对模式。
- 与设备配对，有如下两种方法。
简单配对
简单配对要求满足的条件：已与HBS-730配对过的设备不能在蓝牙有效范围之内处在
蓝牙待机状态(或者是HBS-730首次使用)。如果不满足，请用手动配对的方法配对。
1. HBS-730在关机(电源开关置于”OFF”)状态下开机(滑动开关置为”ON”)。
• HBS-730开机后蓝灯闪烁，此时耳机在寻找已配对的设备。
• 若未能搜索到已配对过得设备，大致15秒钟后自动进入配对模式，蓝色指示灯
常亮。
2. 在需配对的设备中进入蓝牙菜单(参考相应设备的说明书)，并搜索HBS-730。
• 搜索到”LG HBS-730”后，从列表中选择”LG HBS-730”后进行配对。
• 部分设备在配对过程中需要耳机的认证码(PIN 码)，请直接输入数字 `0000’
（4个零）
3. 成功配对后会有”您的耳机正常匹配”的语音提示音，成功配对。
• 紧接着设备和HBS-730之间进行自动连接，连接成功后会有”已连接”的语音提示
音，此后HBS-730可以正常使用。
4. 与其他设备配对时，重复以上过程。
• HBS-730开机后3分钟之内未能匹配到任何设备，将自动关机。
手动配对
1. HBS-730在关机（电源开关置于”OFF”）状态下，按住”通话键”开机(滑动开
关置为”ON”)，此时通话键不能松手，直到通话键蓝灯长亮(耳机进入配对模
式）后松手。
2. 执行简单配对第2项到第4项。

多设备连接
- HBS-730可以同时连接两部手机。
- 多设备连接后，HBS-730可以通过手机进行接打电话，也可以通过媒体播放器进
行听歌。
多设备连接方法
1.首先HBS-730与需要配对的两部手机中的一部手机进行配对。(参考上面配对方法)
2.关闭HBS-730的电源。
3. HBS-730用手动配对的方式与另一部手机进行配对。
4. 紧接着在第一次连接的手机，进入蓝牙菜单选择【HBS-730】与之连接。 此时连接
的手机为”副手机”。
注意) 多设备连接时HBS-730的相关功能在”主手机”有效，”副手机”的只在接
电话时有用。
自动重连
- 如果HBS-730关机，与手机的连接自动断掉，此后在有效范围内开机时会自动重连
（部分手机除外)。
- “副手机”的连接是在副手机的蓝牙菜单上选择“LG HBS730”进行连接即可。
脱离通信范围
- HBS-730和配对的设备超过10米以上时, 由于信号弱HBS-730和设备的连接会断开,
此时HBS-730会以振动的形式提示连接断开.
- 此时恢复有效距离HBS-730会与设备自动重新连接,如果不能自动连接, 短按HBS-
730的通话键进行手动重连.
* 只有当您的手机支持HBS-730的时候,这些功能才可被适用. 关于更多使用功能, 请
详见使用者操作手册.
- 多设备连接状态下其中一个设备播放音乐时，另一个设备连接断掉，会语音提示一
次，但不会自动重连。
电源开/关
- 电源滑动开关置于‘ON’和‘OFF’状态。
声音调整
- 通过声音调大小键调整声音。
- 为了预防因高音引起的听力损伤，最高的三个声音段会有两次长的提示音。

充电
- 在任何状态下只要对HBS-730进行充电，产品会自动关机。
- 产品充电过程中产品指示灯为红色。
- 充电结束，产品指示灯熄灭。
电池状态
- 通过长按声音调小键3秒以上来确认电池状态。
- 会表示3种电池状态。
电池电量状态 高中低
语音提示 电池电量高 电池电量中等 电池电量低
* 与iPhone连接时，iPhone的右上段显示耳机的电量状态。
电池电量不足
- 每两分钟通知一次。状态指示灯红灯闪烁。
- 此时如果不进行充电，耳机过一段时间后自动关机。
接打电话
- 短按通话键接电话，或者挂电话。
* HBS-730来电话时只有左边的主机震动。如果来电话时需要关闭震动，可短按声音
调小键来关闭震动。
重拨
- 长按通话键1秒,自动重播最后拨打过的电话。（部分手机的重拨功能有可能不同）
切换
- 绝大部分手机接打电话时，会自动转换到HBS-730，但部分手机需要长按3秒声音
调大键切换到耳机。
语音拨号
- 短按通话键，启动手机的语音拨号功能后，可以实现语音拨号。(此功能仅限于支
持语音拨号功能的手机使用)
通话的转换
- 通话中可以长按声音调大键实现通话设备的转换(手机 → HBS-730 或者 HBS-730
→ 手机)。
通话中接听其他来电
- 通话中打进来另外一个电话时通过按1秒通话键来转换来电，此时原来的通话处 。

短信阅读软件
HBS-730支持在安卓(Android)系统的手机上运行的”LG蓝
牙耳机短信读取软件”，在Google Play™搜索”LG `BT
Reader’”，并可以下载应用到您的安卓系统的手机上安
装使用。
* 二维条形码会帮您轻松访问Google Play™ 并下载LG ‘BT
Reader’。
aptX®
- aptX®为防止音损失的蓝牙无线技术，可提供CD级别的音质。所以欣赏音乐及电影
时，提供的声音更为逼真。
* HBS-730的aptX®只在支持aptX®的设备上才能自动运行。

播放模式的转换
- 在音乐播放时同时按住声音增大键和减小键1秒，会有“嘟”的提示音并一下顺序
切换。低音增强（默认）g 正常 g 高音。
* 与支持aptX®的设备连接时，不支持播放模式切换功能。
拒接电话
- 来电时按1秒通话键,可以拒接电话。
话筒静音功能
- 通话中同时按住“声音调大键”+“声音调小键”1秒，会对耳机话筒置为静音模式
（对方听不到声音），重复此操作可以解除话筒静音。
音乐播放
- 播放音乐：短按”播放/暂停/停止键”激活音乐播放。
- 暂停：播放音乐时短按”播放/暂停/停止键”进行暂停。
- 停止：按一秒”播放/暂停/停止键”停止播放音乐。
- 下一曲：短按”快进键/下一曲”播放下一首歌。
- 上一曲：短按”快退键/上一曲”播放上一首歌。
- 快进音乐：长按”快进键/下一曲”直到需要的位置。
- 倒退音乐：长按”快退键/上一曲”直到需要的位置。
