9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug
has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a
third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If
the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the product.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or
sold with apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/product com-
bination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this product during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the product
has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has

1. Use at the rated power voltage.
Use of non-rated voltage may cause fire, electric shock and breakdown.
2. Do not open the cabinet and external cover.
The high voltage inside of this product may cause the electric shock.
3. Do not remodel or disassemble this product.
Remodeling or disassembling in wrong method may cause fire, electric shock or breakdown.
4. Do not insert or drop any foreign substance such as metals or flammable object inside from the air hole.
It may cause fire, electric shock or breakdown.
If any foreign substance is inserted inside of this product, turn off the power, pull the plug out of the socket
and contact the sales department. Do not use the product with the foreign substance in.
5. Do not place any vase, potted plant, cup, medicine and any container with water on this product.
If the liquid is spilt, it may cause the fire, electric shock or breakdown.
6. Do not place this product with water nor moisten it.
If water flows in it, it may cause the fire, electric shock or breakdown.
If there is water inside of the product, turn off the power immediately, pull the plug out of the socket and con-
tact the sales department.
Do not use the product with water in it.
7. Never touch the antenna lie or power plug if it stars to thunder.
It may cause the electric shock.
8. If any impact is applied, the parts inside of the product may be fallen out or broken to be the cause of fire,
electric shock or breakdown.
9. Clean the dust on the power plug periodically.
The dusty power plug may cause the poor insulation due to the moisture to be the reason of fire.
10. Do not destroy, process, make closer to heating device, bend or twist forcibly, place any heavy object on nor
bind the power cord or power plug. If it is used in the broken condition, it may cause fire or electric shock.
11. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
If you pull in or out the power plug with wet hands, it may cause electric shocks.
12. Put the power plug in firmly.
Putting the plug incompletely may cause the electric shock or fire by the generation of heat.
13. Do not use any non-rated power socket with numerous devices jointed on one power socket or cable device.
The wire of non-designated capacity may cause the fire due to the generation of heat.
14. In case of malfunction, turn off the power switch immediately and pull out the power plug.
If this product is used in the abnormal condition such as damage to it, foreign substance inside of the prod-
uct, generation of joints, smelling, smoking, overheating and non production of signal, it may cause fire, elec-
tric shock or breakdown.
Turn off the power switch immediately, pull the power plug out of the socket and contact to the sales store..
15. Leave space 10 cm or more from the wall for the installation of the device.
Do not install it close to the wall nor block the ventilation of the air.
Insufficient ventilation or accumulated heat inside of the product may cause the fire.
16. Do not install it at the unstable location such as on the bouncing prop or tilted place.
It may be tipped over as it loses balance or damaged as it is fallen down.

The high temperature may distort the cabinet or the parts inside may be broken down or heated.
If you use this product in this condition, it may cause the fire, electric shock or breakdown due to the short
circuit or poor insulation.
23. Do not place any fire source such as candlelight close to this product or place it on this product.
If it is tipped over or fallen down, it may cause damage or fire.
24. Do not sprinkle water drops or water on this product.
It may cause the fire, the electric shock or breakdown.
25. Do not place heavy objects on this product.
It may be tipped over as it loses balance or damaged as it is fallen down.
26. Do not transport it with the power cord or the connection cable connected.
If you move this product with the power cord or the connection cable connected, the damaged power cord,
connection cable or connection terminal may cause the fire, the electric shock or breakdown.
27. Pull the power cord out while holding the plug portion.
If you pull the power cord out by force, the cord may the fire or the electric shock.
28. Do not use it outdoor.
Dust or rainstorm may cause the fire, electric shock or breakdown.
29. Do not climb on this product.
If you climb on it, it may damage or hurt it.
30. 2 persons or more shall transport the device, which is heavier than 18 kg.
If you drop or tip over the device, it may damage it.
The weight is indicated on the user's manual.
31. Use the attached power cord and connection cable, or those, which are indicated on the user's manual.
If you do not use the designated power cord and connection cable, it may cause the electric shock or break-
down.
32. Turn off the power switch when connecting the power cord or connection cable.
If you not turn off when connecting it, it may cause the electric shock or breakdown.
33. Do not use any chemical such as the paint thinner or benzine to clean the cabinet.
It may scratch the surface or disappear the indication to cause wrong operation, whch can be the reason for
disorder.
34. Clean the cabinet with 5~6 time diluted neutral detergent water on smooth cloth as stirring to remove the
contamination.
After that, clean it with dry cloth to remove any stain.

1. TINT
Adjust the TINT control for the proper color phase or flesh tones. When
turned counterclockwise, the skin tone becomes reddish. When turned
clockwise, skin tone becomes greenish.
2. SHARPNESS
Adjust the SHARPNESS control to obtain the clearest picture.
3. COLOR
Adjust the COLOR control to set the color saturation level. Turn the con-
trol clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease.
4. BRIGHTNESS
Adjust the BRIGHTNESS control for the desired overall display bright-
ness. This control is also useful to compensate for differences in area
lighting. Turn the control clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to
decrease.
5. CONTRAST
Adjust the CONTRAST control for the desired overall contrast. Proper
adjustment will allow maximum gradations between the darkest and light-
est picture areas. Turn the control clockwise to increase and counterclock-
wise to decrease.
6. VOLUME
Adjust the VOLUME control for the desired audio level. Turn the control
clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease.
7. VIDEO 1 TACT SWITCH
Set the switch to VIDEO 1 if the camera jack is used.
8. VIDEO 2 TACT SWITCH
Set the switch to VIDEO 2 if the camera jack is used.
9. S-VIDEO TACT SWITCH
Set the switch to S-VHS if the S-VIDEO jack is used.

10. POWER SWITCH
Press to turn the monitor ON. The POWER LAMP above the switch
will illuminate.
11. POWER LED LAMP
Power lamp indicates the power is on.
12. AC INLET
Use 100-240V AC, 50/60 Hz.
To prevent electrical shocks and fire hazards, do not use any other
power source.
13~16. VIDEO INPUT & OUTPUT CONNECTORS
These BNC connectors permit looping of a video signal in those
installations where it is desirable to display the video signal on more
than one monitor. A standard 1.0 Vp-p video signal applied to the
VIDEO INPUT will also appear at the VIDEO OUTPUT. Use coaxial
cables with BNC type plugs for these connections.
17. S-VIDEO JACK
If the camera or other video source outputs an S-VIDEO signal, con-
nect it directly to this jack.
18~23. AUDIO INPUT & OUTPUT CONNECTORS
Connect an RCA cable between these jacks and the audio output
jack of a camera or VCR.

where they exit from the unit.

9. This equipment is provided with a three-wire grounding type plug having a third
(grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding type power outlet. This is
a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your
electrician to replace your obsolete outlet.

10.OVERLOADING
Do not overload outlets and extension cords. This can result in a risk of fire or

wenn eine ausreichende Belüftung laut Herstellerangaben nicht gewährleistet werden kann.
8. Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen, wie z. B. Heizungen, Heizstrahlern, Öfen
oder anderen Wärme erzeugenden Geräten (einschließlich Verstärkern) aufgestellt werden.
9. Die Sicherheitsmerkmale des gepolten bzw. des Erdungssteckers dürfen nicht umgangen wer-
den. Ein gepolter Stecker besitzt zwei unterschiedlich breite Stifte, einen breiten und einen
schmalen. Erdungsstecker besitzen zwei Stifte sowie einen dritten Erdungskontakt. Der breite
Stift und der dritte Kontakt dienen der Sicherheit. Sollte der vorhandene Netzstecker nicht in die
Steckdose passen, lassen Sie die Steckdose von einem Elektriker austauschen.
10. Das Netzkabel muss so verlegt werden, dass niemand darauf tritt und dass es, besonders am
Stecker und an der Austrittsstelle des Kabels, nicht geknickt wird.
11. Es dürfen nur Zubehörteile laut Herstellerangaben verwendet werden.
12. Das Produkt darf nur zusammen mit vom Hersteller angegebenen oder mit dem Produkt
gelieferten Wagen, Ständern, Stativen, Halterungen oder Tischen verwendet werden. Bei
Verwendung eines Wagens muss darauf geachtet werden, dass der Wagen mit dem Gerät beim
Bewegen nicht umkippen kann.
13. Das Gerät sollte bei Gewitter oder bei längerem Nichtgebrauch vom Netz getrennt werden.
14. Wartungsarbeiten sollten nur von Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Eine Wartung ist
erforderlich, wenn das Gerät beschädigt ist, z. B. falls das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
beschädigt sind, Flüssigkeit über dem Gerät verschüttet wurde, Gegenstände in das Gerät
eingedrungen sind, das Gerät Regen oder Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt wurde, nicht richtig funktion-
iert oder fallen gelassen wurde.

Anweisungen.
Verwahren Sie das Handbuch zum späteren Nachschlagen an einem sicheren Ort.
Denken Sie beim Transport des Gerätes auch an das Handbuch.
Bitte beachten Sie die folgenden Hinweise.
1. Das Gerät darf nur mit der angegebenen Nennspannung betrieben werden.
Bei abweichender Nennspannung besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen und Störungen.
2. Das Gehäuse und die Außenabdeckung niemals öffnen.
Durch Hochspannung im Innern des Gerätes besteht die Gefahr von Stromschlägen.
3. Das Gerät nicht verändern oder auseinandernehmen.
Bei unsachgemäßen Veränderungen oder durch das Auseinandernehmen besteht die Gefahr von Bränden,
Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
4. Niemals Gegenstände, wie Metallteile oder brennbare Stoffe, in die Belüftungsöffnungen einführen.
Es besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
Falls Fremdkörper in das Gerät eingedrungen sind, schalten Sie das Gerät aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker
und verständigen Sie den Kundendienst. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht weiter, falls Fremdkörper in das
Gerät eingedrungen sind.
5. Keine Vasen, Blumentöpfe, Becher, Arzneimittel oder mit Flüssigkeit gefüllte Behälter auf das Gerät stellen.
Falls Flüssigkeit in das Gerät eindringt, besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
6. Das Gerät niemals mit Wasser reinigen oder befeuchten.
Falls Wasser in das Gerät eindringt, besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
Sollte bereits Wasser in das Gerät eingedrungen sein, schalten Sie es sofort aus, ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker und verständigen Sie den Kundendienst.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät bei eingedrungenem Wasser nicht weiter.
7. Die Antenne und den Netzstecker bei Gewitter nicht berühren.
Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr von Stromschlägen.
8. Falls das Gerät Angestoßen wird, können Bauteile im Innern des Gerätes herausfallen oder beschädigt wer-
den und somit Brände, Stromschläge oder Störungen verursacht werden.
9. Befreien Sie den Netzstecker gelegentlich von Staub und Verschmutzungen.
Auf Grund von entstehender Feuchtigkeit kann die Isolation bei einem verschmutzten Netzstecker verringert
werden und es besteht die Gefahr eines Brandes.
10. Das Netzkabel bzw. den Netzstecker nicht beschädigen, verändern, in der Nähe von Heizgeräten verlegen,
verbiegen oder verdrehen, keine schweren Gegenstände daraufstellen und nicht verknoten. Bei
Beschädigungen besteht die Gefahr von Bränden oder Stromschlägen.
11. Den Netzstecker niemals mit nassen Händen berühren.
Beim Ziehen des Netzsteckers mit nassen Händen besteht die Gefahr von Stromschlägen.
12. Schließen Sie den Netzstecker immer fest an.
Sollte der Stecker zu locker angeschlossen sein, besteht auf Grund einer Hitzeentwicklung die Gefahr von
Stromschlägen oder eines Brandes.
13. Mehrere Geräte dürfen nicht gemeinsam an einer Steckdose mit zu geringer Nennleistung angeschlossen
werden.
Bei Kabeln mit unzureichender Nennleistung besteht Brandgefahr auf Grund von Hitzeentwicklung.
14. Schalten Sie das Gerät bei Fehlfunktionen sofort aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
Falls sich das Gerät in einem schlechten Zustand befindet oder beschädigt ist, Fremdkörper eingedrungen
sind, Kurzschlüsse erzeugt werden, Gerüche oder Rauch vom Gerät ausgehen, eine Überhitzung
festzustellen ist oder kein Signal vom Gerät empfangen wird, besteht die Gefahr von Bränden,
Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
Schalten Sie das Gerät in diesen Fällen sofort aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und verständigen Sie den
Kundendienst.
15. Beim Aufstellen sollte ein Mindestabstand von 10 cm zur Wand eingehalten werden.
Das Gerät nicht zu nahe an der Wand aufstellen und die Belüftungsöffnungen nicht verdecken.
Bei einer unzureichenden Belüftung oder durch einen Hitzestau im Gerät besteht Brandgefahr.
16. Das Gerät nicht auf einem unsicheren Untergrund wie z. B. einem wackeligen Pfeiler oder geneigt aufstellen.
Es könnte umkippen oder herunterfallen und beschädigt werden.

17. Das Gerät nicht an feuchten oder staubigen Orten aufstellen.
Es besteht die Gefahr von Bränden oder Stromschlägen.
18. Das Gerät nicht an Orten aufstellen, an denen giftige Gase auftreten könnten.
Ansonsten besteht Brandgefahr.
19. Das Gerät nicht an Orten aufstellen, an denen dauerhaft Vibration auftreten.
Es könnte umkippen oder herunterfallen und beschädigt werden.
20. Das Gerät nicht an Orten mit starken Magnetfeldern oder elektromagnetischer Strahlung aufstellen.
Es besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
In Umgebungen mit hoher elektromagnetischer Strahlung könnte die Bildqualität beeinflusst werden.
21. Stellen Sie die Räder oder Rollen am Gerät oder an den Regalen beim Aufstellen fest.
Das Gerät könnte sich verschieben und herunterfallen und so beschädigt werden.
22. Das Gerät nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum in der direkten Sonne im Auto lassen.
Zu hohe Temperaturen können das Gehäuse oder Bauteile im Innern zu stark erwärmen und beschädigen.
Beim Betrieb eines zu warmen Gerätes besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen oder Störungen auf
Grund von Kurzschlüssen oder verminderter Isolation.
23. Kein offenes Feuer, wie z. B. Kerzen, in der Nähe oder auf dem Gerät aufstellen.
Falls die Feuerquelle umkippt oder herunterfällt besteht die Gefahr von Beschädigungen oder Bränden.
24. Das Gerät muss vor Wassertropfen und Wasser geschützt werden.
Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
25. Keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Gerät stellen.
Es könnte umkippen oder herunterfallen und beschädigt werden.
26. Das Gerät niemals mit angeschlossenem Netz- oder Verbindungskabel transportieren.
Ansonsten könnte das Netzkabel, das Verbindungskabel oder die Anschlüsse beschädigt werden und es
besteht die Gefahr von Bränden, Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
27. Das Netzkabel beim Abziehen immer am Stecker selbst festhalten.
Beim Ziehen am Netzkabel könnte das Kabel reißen und einen Brand oder Stromschlag verursachen.
28. Das Gerät niemals im Freien verwenden.
Staub oder Regen könnte einen Brand, Stromschlägen oder Störungen herbeiführen.
29. Niemals auf dem Gerät stehen oder sitzen.
Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr von Beschädigungen oder Verletzungen.
30. Das über 18 kg schwere Gerät sollte immer von mindestens zwei Personen getragen werden.
Sollte das Gerät herunterfallen oder umkippen, könnte es beschädigt werden.
Das genaue Gewicht entnehmen Sie bitte den technischen Daten im Benutzerhandbuch.
31. Es dürfen nur das vorhandene Netzkabel und Verbindungskabel bzw. im Handbuch angegebene Kabel ver-
wendet werden.
Bei Verwendung anderer Netz- oder Verbindungskabel besteht die Gefahr von Stromschlägen oder Störun-
gen.
32. Schalten Sie das Gerät beim Anschluss des Netz- bzw. Verbindungskabels aus.
Bei Anschluss des eingeschalteten Gerätes besteht die Gefahr von Stromschlägen oder Störungen.
33. Das Gerätegehäuse nicht mit chemischen Reinigern, wie z. B. Verdünner oder Benzin, reinigen.
Die Oberfläche könnte verkratzen und Symbole könnten ausbleichen, was eine falsche Bedienung und somit
Störungen zur Folge haben kann.
34. Wischen Sie fünf bis sechs Mal über das Gehäuse. Verwenden Sie dazu einen mit Wasser verdünnten
Neutralreiniger sowie ein weiches Tuch.
Trocknen Sie das Gehäuse danach mit einem sauberen Tuch ab.
