Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance
enclosure or in the built-in-structure, clear of
obstruction.

This symbol alerts you to flammable materials
that can ignite and cause a fire if you do not
take care.
Risk of Fire and Flammable Materials
This appliance contains a small amount of isobutane
refrigerant (R600a), but it is also combustible. When
transporting and installing the appliance, care should be
taken to ensure that no parts of the refrigerating circuit
are damaged.
If a leak is detected, avoid any naked flames or potential
sources of ignition and air the room in which the
appliance is standing for several minutes. In order to
avoid the creation of a flammable gas air mixture if a
leak in the refrigerating circuit occurs, the size of the
room in which the appliance is used should correspond
to the amount of refrigerant used. The room must be 1

m in size for every 8 g of R600a refrigerant inside the
appliance.
When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord
is not trapped or damaged.
Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or
portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.

SUPPLY CORD REPLACEMENT
IF THE SUPPLY CORD IS DAMAGED, IT MUST BE REPLACED
BY THE MANUFACTURER OR ITS SERVICE AGENT OR A
SIMILARLY QUALIFIED PERSON IN ORDER TO AVOID A
HAZARD.
DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD
If possible, connect the refrigerator to its own individual electrical outlet in order to avoid an overload
caused by other appliances or household lights that might interrupt the electrical current.
ACCESSIBILITY OF SUPPLY PLUG
The refrigerator-freezer should be so positioned that the supply plug is accessible for quick
disconnection when accident happens

Note : Push the Defrost Knob after every 2
days / Ice Level reaches defrost indicator.

Refrigerator Temperature Control
Specially designed knob gives your facility to control
temperature inside Refrigerator.
Defrosting
- It is necessary to regularly defrost your refrigerator in
order to ensure efficient operation
- As soon as the thickness of ice/frost on the surface of
the evaporator reaches a quarter of an inch (6mm),
start the defrosting operation.
- To defrost, turn the control to "0”
- Before you start the defrosting operation, remove the
drip tray, empty water, dry and put it back to its normal
position.
- Turn the control dial to desired position.
- Note that a temperature rise after defrosting has a
permissible range in the appliance specifications. If
you wish to minimise the impact on the food storage
due to a temperature rise, seal or wrap the stored
food in several layers.

VACATION TIME
During average length vacations, you will probably find it best to leave the refrigerator in operation. Place
freezable items in freezer for longer life.
When you plan to be away for an extended period remove all food, disconnect the power cord, clean the
interior throughly and leave each door OPEN to prevent odour formation.

1. INSTRUCTION
Unpack the refrigerator and locate at desired location.
Refrigerator should be located properly in ventilated area.
After installing the appliance, connect the power plug into a socket outlet. Before moving and
discarding the appliance, disconnect the plug from the socket outlet.

Levelling of refrigerator should be done with front leg. Refrigerator should be levelled with front to back inclination for
base.

Too small of a distance from adjacent items may
result in degradation of freezing capability and
increased electricity costs. Allow over 200mm
clearance from each adjacent wall when
installing the appliance.
Ambient Temperature
The appliance is designed to operate within a
limited range of ambient temperatures,
depending on the climate zone. do not use the
appliance at a temperature exceeding the limit.
The internal temperatures could be affected by
the location of the appliance, the ambient
temperature, the frequency of door opening and
so on.

Cover or wrap all foods that you put into your refrigerator with polythene or aluminium foil,
preventing the mixing of flavours and to keep the food from drying.
SUGGESTIONS
Don’t keep hot milk or hot food in your refrigerator. This will result in an increased temperature of
other food in the fridge and may lead to deterioration.
Don’t keep the door open for more than 30 seconds at a time-cold air will rush out of the fridge.
Don’t cover the shelves with paper or plastic sheets. This prevents air circulation inside the cabinet.
Don’t use a knife or sharp instrument to remove the ice trays from the freezer or to remove the frost
mechanically as it may damage the freezer coil.
Fridge will automatically switched off when the proper temperature is attained. Don’t switch off the
fridge at night, this will create higher temperature inside the cabinet thus deteriorating stored foods.
Feel free to call your LG Dealer or LG Representative in case your refrigerator has suffered and
damage in transit. The Dealer or the Company Representative will assess the extent of damage and
give you an estimate for repairs.
Don’t switch on the refrigerator, unless a minimum period of four minutes lapses after it was switched
off, either due to power failure or otherwise.
Don’t allow food stuffs smeared with salt to come in direct contact with the freezer. It is a good
practice to always keep the food in a container before placing in the freezer.
Do not use or store inflammable materials like ether, benzene, alcohol, medicine, LP gas, spray or
cosmetics near or in the refrigerator. It may cause explosion or fire.
Do Not Modify or Extend the power cord length. It will cause electric Shock or fire.
If there are chill compartments in the appliance, do not store vegetables and fruits with higher
moisture content in the chill compartments as they may freeze due to the lower temperature.
Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the
compartments of the appliance.
Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip
onto other food.
If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave
the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.
This appliance is not suitable for freezing food.
LAMP REPLACEMENT (Optional)
1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
2. Remove refrigerator shelves.
3. Remove the lamp by turning it counterclockwise as shown in the
figure at right.
4. Assemble in reverse order of disassembly. Replacement bulb must
be the same specification as original.
Suggestions for Energy Saving
For the most efficient use of energy, make sure that door bins, drawers and shelves are assembled
properly.
When storing food in the freezer compartment, set the freezer temperature lower than the
temperature indicated on the food.
Do not set the temperature of the appliance lower than needed.
Food may freeze or spoil if stored at the wrong temperature. Set the refrigerator to the correct
temperature for the food being stored.
Do not store food for a long period of time if it spoils easily at a low temperature.
Place the refrigerated food or frozen food in each fridge or freezer compartment immediately after
purchasing.
Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip
onto other food.
Store frozen food or refrigerated food inside sealed containers.
Cool hot food before storing. If too much hot food is placed inside, the internal temperature of the
appliance can increase and negatively affect other foods stored in the appliance.
Do not overfill the appliance. Cold air can not circulate properly if the appliance is overfilled.
Ensure there is sufficient space between stored foods. This allows cold air to be circulated evenly and
lowers electricity bills.

Disposal of the old appliance
This appliance contains fluid (refrigerant, lubricant) and is made of parts and materials which are
reusable and/or recyclable.
All the important materials should be sent to the collection center of waste material and can be reused
after rework (recycling). For take back, please contact with the local agency.
EXTERIOR -Use a lukewarm solution of mild soap or detergent to clean the refrigerator. Wipe with a
clean, damp cloth and then dry.
INTERIOR - Regular cleaning of the interior and interior parts is recommended. If you have to wash all
compartments with a mild baking soda solution, then rinse and dry the compartment.
POWER FAILURE - Most power failures are corrected in an hour or two and will not affect your
refrigerator temperatures. During power failures of longer duration, place a block of dry ice on top of
your frozen packages.
 In the event of a blackout, call the electricity company and ask how long it is going to last.
- You should avoid door openings while the power is off.
- When the power supply gets back to normal, check the condition of the food.
IF YOU MOVE - Remove or securely fasten down all loose items inside the refrigerator. To avoid
damaging the leveling screws, turn them all the way into the base.

– Entry of hot air.
Opening and closing of the door too often will result in hot
air from outside rushing into the refrigerator causing the
temperature to go up. Reduce the frequency of opening of
the door
– Storing hot foods.
Avoid storing hot foods in the refrigerator, cool them to
room temperature before placing them inside the
refrigerator.

Formation of
water drops on
exterior of
refrigerator.
– High humidity during
monsoon season.
During the monsoon, when the humidity in the
atmosphere reaches around 90% water droplets may
form around the sides of the refrigerator cabinet,
especially the top portion. This moisture should be wiped
off periodically. Contact our serviceman to check the door
seal for proper and uniform contact with the cabinet.

Formation of
droplets on the
underside of the
Chiller tray.
– Hot and humid
climate.
In hot and humid weather the moist air rushes inside
whenever the refrigerator door is opened. This results in
excess frosting on the Evaporator, and condensation on
the Chiller tray bottom. Avoid too frequent door openings.
6.
Smell and
odour.
– Improper covering
and wrapping
of food.
Wrap and cover foodstuffs properly. Place caps on bottles
and other liquid stores.
If the smell persists, defrost the refrigerator, remove all
foodstuffs, clean the refrigerator thoroughly and wipe it dry
before restarting.
7.
Difficulty in
formation
of ice and ice-
cream.
– Incorrect thermostat
setting.
Set the thermostat on 'Colder' (Max) position.
– Defrosting overdue.
Excessive frost on the freezer compartment should be
defrosted. Ensure that the container of ice-cream or ice is
in proper contact with the surface of the freezer. Do not
use bowls.

There is no
refrigeration
or freezing.
A fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped. Or the
appliance is connected to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) outlet, and
the outlet's circuit breaker has tripped.
Check the main electrical box and replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. Do
not increase fuse capacity. If the problem is a circuit overload, have it corrected by a
qualified electrician.
Reset the circuit breaker on the GFCI. If the problem persists, contact an
electrician.
Is there a power interruption?
Check the power of other appliances.
Check the power of other appliances.
Plug the power plug in the outlet properly.

Κίνδυνος πυρκαγιάς και εύφλεκτα υλικά
Αυτή η ηλεκτρική συσκευή περιέχει μια μικρή μεν
ποσότητα ψυκτικού ισοβουτανίου (R600a), το οποίο
όμως είναι εύφλεκτο. Κατά τη μεταφορά και την
εγκατάσταση της συσκευής, λαμβάνετε μέριμνα ώστε να
μην υποστεί ζημιά κάποιο από τα εξαρτήματα του
κυκλώματος ψύξης.
Εάν εντοπιστεί διαρροή, αποφύγετε τυχόν γυμνές
φλόγες ή πιθανές πηγές ανάφλεξης και τον αέρα στο
δωμάτιο στο οποίο βρίσκεται η συσκευή για αρκετά
λεπτά. Για να αποτραπεί η δημιουργία ενός εύφλεκτου
μείγματος αερίων, εάν επέλθει κάποια διαρροή στο
ψυκτικό κύκλωμα, το μέγεθος του δωματίου στο οποίο
χ ρ η σ ι μ ο π ο ι ε ί τ α ι η σ υ σ κ ε υ ή θ α π ρ έ π ε ι ν α
ανταποκρίνεται στην ποσότητα ψυκτικού που
χρησιμοποιείται. Το δωμάτιο πρέπει να έχει μέγεθος 1
m² για κάθε 8 g ψυκτικού R600a μέσα στη συσκευή.
Κατά την τοποθέτηση της συσκευής, διασφαλίστε ότι το
καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας δεν έχει καταστραφεί ή μαγκωθεί
σε κάποιο σημείο.
Μην τοποθετείτε πολλά φορητά πολύπριζα ή φορητά
τροφοδοτικά στο πίσω μέρος της συσκευής.

Έλεγχος θερμοκρασίας ψυγείου
Ο ειδικά σχεδιασμένος διακόπτης διευκολύνει τον
έλεγχο της θερμοκρασίας στο εσωτερικό του ψυγείου.
Απόψυξη
- Είναι απαραίτητο να αποψύχετε τακτικά το ψυγείο
σας, ώστε να εξασφαλίζεται η αποτελεσματική
λειτουργία
- Μόλις το πάχος του πάγου στην επιφάνεια του
εξατμιστή φτάσει στα 6 mm (1⁄4 της ίντσας), ξεκινήστε
τη λειτουργία απόψυξης.
- Για την απόψυξη, γυρίστε το διακόπτη ελέγχου στη
θέση "0"
- Προτού ξεκινήσετε τη λειτουργία απόψυξης,
αφαιρέστε το δοχείο αποστράγγισης, αδειάστε το
νερό, στεγνώστε το και τοποθετήστε το πίσω στην
κανονική του θέση.
- Γυρίστε το διακόπτη ελέγχου στην επιθυμητή θέση
- Να σημειωθεί ότι μία αύξηση θερμοκρασίας μετά την
α πό ψ υ ξ η έ χ ε ι ε π ι τ ρ ε π ό μ εν ο ε ύ ρ ο ς σ τ ι ς
προδιαγραφές της συσκευής. Εάν θέλετε να
ελαχιστοποιήσετε την επίδραση στην αποθήκευση
τροφίμων λόγω αύξησης της θερμοκρασίας,
σφραγίστε ή τυλίξτε τα αποθηκευμένα τρόφιμα σε
πολλές στρώσεις.
Σημείωση: Πιέζετε το κουμπί απόψυξης κάθε
2 ημέρες / Το Επίπεδο πάγου φτάνει στην
ένδειξη απόψυξης.

Κατά την περίοδο διακοπών μικρής διάρκειας, ίσως είναι καλύτερο να αφήσετε το ψυγείο σε λειτουργία.
Τοποθετήστε τα αντικείμενα με δυνατότητα ψύξης στην κατάψυξη για μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια ζωής.
Εάν σχεδιάζετε να λείψετε για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα, αφαιρέστε όλα τα τρόφιμα, αποσυνδέστε το
καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας, καθαρίστε το εσωτερικό πολύ καλά και αφήστε κάθε πόρτα ΑΝΟΙΧΤΗ, για να μην
δημιουργηθούν οσμές.
