DAS PRODUKT
Dieses Kabel macht die Installation eines 55020 Mehrzugsystem-
Decoders in LGB-Lokomotiven mit Decoderschnittstelle kinderleicht. Die
Verwendung dieses Kabels macht normalerweise das Auswechseln von
spannungsempfindlichen Komponenten wie Glühlampen und Dampfent-
wicklern überflüssig.
Loks mit Decoderschnittstelle sind an der Unterseite mit einem runden
schwarzen Aufkleber mit sechs weißen Punkten gekennzeichnet (Abb.).
INSTALLATION
Die folgende Anleitung gibt nur allgemeine Anweisungen. Die spezifischen
Anleitungen sind von Produkt zu Produkt unterschiedlich.
Achtung! Bei unsachgemäßer Wartung kann Ihr Anspruch auf
Garantieleistungen erlöschen. Falls Sie eine autorisierte Wartung vom
Werk benötigen, wenden Sie sich bitte an einen autorisierten Fachhändler
oder schicken Sie Ihr LGB-Produkt an einen LGB-Wartungsdienst (siehe
Werkservice).
Achtung! Schließen Sie das Gerät erst dann an eine Stromquelle an,
wenn die Installation abgeschlossen ist. Andernfalls könnten elektronische
Komponenten beschädigt werden.
- Bauen Sie das Modell auseinander, um die Hauptleiterplatte freizulegen.
- Suchen Sie die Miniaturschlater an der Hauptleiterplatte. Stellen Sie alle
Schalter auf die Position „Off“.
Hinweis: Einige LGB-Loks sind mit zusätzlichen Schaltern zur Sound-
steuerung ausgestattet. Diese Schalter müssen nicht zurückgesetzt wer-
den.
- Schließen Sie die vier Decoderkabel an die farblich passenden Stifte an
der Hauptleiterplatte an. Die Farben sind folgendermaßen kodiert:
gn = grün bn = braun ws = weiß gb = gelb
Hinweis: An einigen Lokmodellen sind diese Stifte mit farbigen Ringen
gekennzeichnet.An anderen Lokmodellen sind diese Stifte mit Druck-buch-
staben an der Hauptleiterplatte gekennzeichnet.
- Suchen Sie den 6-poligen Schnittstellenkabelblock an der Hauptleiter-
platte. Stecken Sie den Stecker des Schnittstellenkabels in den Block.
- Schließen Sie die Schnittstellenkabeldrähte an die farblich passenden
Stifte am Decoder an. Die Farben sind folgendermaßen kodiert:
bl = blau rt = rot gb = gelb gn = grün or = orange bn = braun
Bauen Sie das Modell wieder zusammen und testen Sie es.
Hinweis: Testen Sie das Modell mit einem Niederspannungstrafo, wie zum
Beispiel dem Reglertrafo aus der Anfangspackung. Damit wird bei einem
eventuell falschen Kabelanschluß die Gefahr eines Schadens verringert.

THE PRODUCT
This cable simplifies the installation of a 55020 Multi-Train System
Decoder in LGB locomotives with a decoder interface. If this cable is used, it is usually
not necessary to replace the voltage sensitive components, like light bulbs and smoke
generators.
Locos with a decoder interface are marked with a round black sticker with six white dots
on the bottom of the loco (Fig. 1).
INSTALLATION
These instructions are only a general guide.The specific instructions for individual pro-
ducts will vary.
Attention! Improper installation may void your warranty. For factor authorized installati-
on, contact an authorized retailer or send your LGB product to an LGB service station
(see Factory Service).
Attention! Do not apply power to the model until the installation is complete.Electronic
components may be damaged.
- Disassemble the model to expose the main circuit board.
- Find the miniature switches on the main circuit board. Set all the switches to the OFF
position.
Hint: Some LGB locos have additional switches for controlling sounds. These switches
do not have to be reset.
- Attach the four decoder wires to the matching pins on the main circuit board.The color
codes are:
gn = green bn = brown ws = white gb = yellow
Hint: On some LGB locos these pins are identified with colored rings around the pins.
On some locos these pins are identified with printed letters on the main circuit board.
- Find the 6-pin interface cable block on the main circuit board. Insert the interface cable
plug into the block.
- Attach the interface cable wires to the matching pins on the decoder (Fig.2).The color
codes are:
bl = blue rt = red gb = yellow gr = green or = orange bn = brown
- Reassemble and test the model.
Hint: Test the model with a low-power supply, like a starter set power pack. If there is a
wiring error, this will reduce the chance of damage.

LE PRODUIT
Ce câble fait de l’installation d’un décodeur multi-trains 55020 dans les locomo-
tives LGB équipées d’une interface décodeur un jeu d’enfant. L’utilisation de ce câble
rend normalement superflu le remplacement des composants sensibles à la tension tels
qu’ampoules et générateurs de vapeur.
Les locomotives équipées d’une interface décodeur sont caractérisées par un auto-
collant rond noir avec six points blancs placé en dessous (fig.).
Installation
Les instructions suivantes ne donnent que des informations d’ordre général, les instruc-
tions spécifiques variant d’un produit à l’autre.
Attention! Un entretien non conforme risque de se solder par une perte de vos droits à
garantie.Pour le cas où vous auriez besoin d’un entretien agrée en usine, veuillez vous
adresser à un revendeur agrée ou envoyer votre produit LGB à un service d’entretien
LGB (voir service usine).
Attention! Raccordez l’appareil à une alimentation électrique uniquement lorsque l’in-
stallation est terminée. Sinon, vous risqueriez d’endommager des composants électro-
niques.
- Démontez ce modèle réduit pour avoir accès à la carte imprimée principale.
- Cherchez les micro-interrupteurs sur la carte imprimée principale. Mettez-les tous sur
la position »Arrêt«.
Remarque: Certaines locomotives LGB sont équipées d’interrupteurs supplémentaires
pour la commande du bruitage. Ces interrupteurs ne doivent pas être changés de posi-
tion.
- Raccordez les quatre câbles décodeur aux broches de couleur correspondante de la
carte imprimée principale. Les couleurs sont codées comme suit:
gn = vert bn = marron ws = blanc gb = jaune
Remarque: Sur certaines locomotives, ces broches sont marquées de rondelles de cou-
leur. Sur d’autres, elles sont marquées de capitales d’imprimerie sur la carte imprimée
principale.
- Cherchez le bloc de câbles interface à six pôles sur la carte imprimée principale.
Placez la fiche du câble interface dans le bloc.
- Raccorderz les fils du câble interface aux broches de couleur correspondante du déco-
deur. Les couleurs sont codées comme suit:
bl = bleu rt = rouge gb = jaune gn = vert or = orange bn = marron
Remontez ce modèle réduit et testez-le.
Remarque: Testez ce modèle réduit avec un transformateur basse tension tel que par
exemple le transformateur de réglage du kit de début. Cela permet de réduire le risque
d’endommagement en cas de raccordement incorrect de câble.
