Product Installation Disclaimer
● Failure to install this product according to these
instructions will invalidate the warranty. This includes, but
is not limited to using alternative installation methods,
hardware, or materials.
● DO NOT USE Loctite, SuperGlue, or similar products on
the hardware or the product.
● Verify the fit of the product to vehicle prior to installation
● if painting is desired it must be done prior to installing
product on vehicle. Clean outer surface with a good grade
degreaser.
● DO NOT USE LACQUER THINNER OR ENAMEL
REDUCER AS A DEGREASER. Wipe outer surface
thoroughly with a tack rag prior to paint. Application of
plastic adhesion promoter for ABS plastic as per your paint
system manufacturer’s recommendations is required. Paint
flares using a high quality enamel, or polyurethane
automotive paint. Do not paint edge trim.
● Using larger tires may increase area required to turn the
vehicle. Some wheel and tire combinations may require
lowering bump stops and or installing steering stops to
prevent tire from contacting flare while turning.
● Exhaust system modifications require minimum 4”
clearance between flares and exhaust pipes and exhaust
gases should not vent directly onto product.
● All exposed fasteners and bare metal should be treated
with rust resistant paint BEFORE installing flares. Spray
inner fender wells with undercoating AFTER flare have
been attached.
● This product may interfere with existing decals on vehicle.
If you wish, remove decals prior to installation of flares.
● Care & Cleaning: Do not use any harsh abrasive
detergents.
PLEASE NOTE
Dirt and debris can become lodged between the product
and the body, causing scratching and paint wear from
vibration. Liberty Products is not responsible for any
damage, and the installation of this product is done with
the buyer’s understanding that this scratching and paint
wear may occur.

Step 1: Put each Bolt (SCR-001) and Washer
(WSH-001) combination through a pocket hole in
the flare, bolt head and washer on the outside.
Place the nut (NUT-001) over the end of each bolt
and tighten, using a 1/2” wrench for the nut and the
supplied Torx bit for the bolt.
Repeat for remaining pockets.
Step 2: Peel one inch of red vinyl backing away
from Edge Trim (EDG-001) tape. Applying the
adhesive side of the edge trim to the inner side of
the flare, affix the edge trim to the top edge of the
flare (the portion that comes in contact with the
vehicle). B. Press edge trim into place along the
top edge of the flare in small increments, pulling
red vinyl backing free as you continue to work your
way around the top edge of the flare.

Step 3: Remove front mud guard. Remove 2 T15
torx head bolts indicated at the arrows in the image
above and 10mm bolt. Mudguard held on with
hidden clip, just pull firmly away from vehicle to
remove. Left hand arrow is 10mm bolt. Right hand
arrow is T15 torx, and 2 visable are T15 torx.
Step 4: Attach 4 clips to both inner brackets as
shown on raised section.

Step 5: Remove 2 two T15 torx bolts, save to use
in next step.
Step 6: Install long inner bracket using factory
screw
Step 7: Front bracket to mount on fender
extension. From bottom edge make a mark 3.50
inches. This is where the bottom edge of inner
bracket will start.
Step 8: Make sure clips are flush with the wheel
well opening.

Step 9: With bracket aligned with wheel well and
on the mark made earlier you can drive screw thru
hole in bracket into the plastic fender extension.
Step 10: Front flare is in 2 pieces Insert the Screw
through the hole drilled in the end of the Front Main
Flare and into the corresponding hole in the Front
Bumper Piece. Install a supplied Spring Nut
(NUT-002) on ends of screws and tighten.

Step 11: While holding front Flare/Bumper Piece
Combo on Vehicle start 4 supplied screws into
inner brackets, reinstall 2 factory T15 torx screws
at the bottom removed in step 3. Apply pressure
against flare to make sure flare is tight to the body
and tighten all screws. Front flare is done repeat
for opposite side.
Step 12: Start the rear rear flare installation
Step 13: Remove one screw on rear splash shield
Step 14: Remove the 5 screw on the front splash
guard. Guard is held on with hidden clip just pull
firmly away from vehicle.

Step 16: On the mark place half the foam pad over
it and fold the other half over to the inside. Place
clip (CLP-003) over foam pad.
Step 15: Holding flare in place using a marker or
grease pencil, mark top three holes.
Step 17: Reinstall factory screws from previous
steps and install 3 supplied screws. Press flare
firmly against truck body and tighten screws.
Repeat process for other side.

Liberty Products warrants its products with a Lifetime Warranty to the ORIGINAL
consumer against any defects resulting from workmanship or materials. This
warranty applies when the product is used under normal conditions for the
purpose for which the product is designed, and does not apply to normal wear and
tear or damage related to modification/alteration, accident, misuse, improper care
or repair, negligence, or the installation of additional attachments. THIS
WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY. In no event shall Liberty
Products be liable for direct, indirect, or incidental or consequential damages
arising out of the use of the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages or how long an implied warranty
lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.
*If Liberty Products determines that there is a covered defect, Liberty Products will
replace the product with the same or similar product, or at Liberty Product’s sole
option refund the product purchase price.
