WARNING
Improper use of the grounded plug can result in the risk of electrical shock. If the power cord
is damaged, get it replaced by Lifelong authorized service personnel.
This refrigerator should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this
refrigerator is equipped with a three-prong plug which matches with standard three prong wall
outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
Do not, under any circumstances, remove the grounding plug from the power cord.
This refrigerator requires a standard 220-240V- /50 Hz electrical outlets with three-prong
ground.
This refrigerator is not designed to be used with an inverter.
The cord should be secured behind the refrigerator and not left exposed or dangling to
prevent any accidental injury.
Never unplug the refrigerator by pulling the power cord. Always grip the plug firmly and pull
straight out from the receptacle.
Do not use an extension cord with this appliance. If the power cord is too short, have a
qualified electrician or service technician install an outlet near the appliance. Use of an
extension cord can negatively affect the performance of the unit.

Installation Method:
1. Place the refrigerator on a plain and even surface.
2. Avoid placing upside down or horizontal. The angle should be not less than 45°between
the cabinet and the ground when the inclination is necessary.
3. In order to maintain proper cooling and avoid higher energy consumption, please ensure to
keep the fridge by maintaining a gap of 5cm from the wall and also ensure to have a space of
30cm from the top.
4. Don’t keep the refrigerator in a humid environment.
5. Don’t place the refrigerator near heat sources (stove, warmer etc.) or expose the device to
direct sunlight.
Operating Instruction:
HOW TO USE THE REFRIGERATOR:
1.
Before you put the refrigerator for first time use please carry out the following steps;

Do not connect the power cord to any wall outlet.
3.
Keep the refrigerator door open for 30 minutes , so that if there is any left out foul
odour , it will be dispersed out to the ambient.
4.
Open the refrigerator door; assemble all the accessory parts to it’s respective position.
Don’t keep any food items or beverages for the first time inside the fridge.

Insert the power cord into the wall socket.
7.
Set the thermostat to maximum position and switch ON the refrigerator.
8.
Allow the refrigerator to run for 8 hours; thereafter shut down the refrigerator.
9.
Now put the food items and beverages inside the refrigerator.
Adjust the thermostat knob based on the season
a. For winter- Adjust the thermostat knob to minimum position
b. For summer- Adjust the thermostat knob to maximum position

Switch ON the refrigerator
Defrost: it is required to periodically inspect the freezer chamber for excess ice deposition If
the ice layer is more than 5 mm, please undertake defrost action immediately.
Switch off the refrigerator, remove all food and beverage items and rotate the
thermostat knob in anti-clockwise direction and bring it to off position.
Once the defrost procedure is done, replace food items, and switch ON the fridge
ICE PREPARATION
Pour fresh and clean water into the ice-making tray and maintain the water level as indicated
in the ice tray; put the ice tray into the evaporator. Set the thermostat to the maximum position.
Ice is made within 2 - 3 hours. Slightly twist round the ice-making tray while taking out the
ice.

Replacing Bulb
Disconnect the power supply before replacing the bulb. Remove the used bulb by
turning anti-clockwise. Fix the new bulb by turning clockwise (the bulb should be
screw bulb less than 15W).
