Thank you for purchasing a Lifetrons® DrumBass ExploreBT Bluetooth Speaker. This
pocket-sized speaker features revolutionary portable audio technology with built-in bass
support and Bluetooth for wireless music. The DrumBass ExploreBT Bluetooth Speakers is
equipped with a high-fidelity speaker to ensure smooth delivery of mid and high-range
tones. It comes with a built-in rechargeable battery for easy use.
This guide outlines the operating procedures and safety precautions. Please read it
carefully to make sure you are using your product properly and retain it for future
reference.

How to Use
A. How to Recharge
1. Connect part ①(micro-USB jack) to ②(micro-USB port).
2. Connect ④(USB plug) to a USB port with a power supply (i.e. computer USB port or AC
adapter with USB power supply).
B. How to Connect to a Music Player using an Audio Cable
1. Connect part ③(3.5mm audio jack) directly to any music player with a 3.5mm audio
jack or mobile phone via the audio connector (not included).
2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to part ⑤(3.5mm audio input) of the
speaker.
3. Turn the power switch to (located Back of the speaker) to experience the
stunning sound.
C. How to Connect to a Music Player using Bluetooth
1. Turn on the connecting device (music player/computer) you want to pair the speaker
with.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on the connecting device (music player/computer).
3. Turn the power switch to (located back of the speaker), it will start searching for a
connecting device and the LED indicator will quickly flash the color blue.
4. Once the speakers and the device are paired, the connecting device will prompt you to
select the paired component. Select “FG8018 Lifetrons” from the list of Bluetooth-
enabled devices shown on your device.
5. If asked for an input passkey, input the number "0000" (This is the default passkey for
the majority of Bluetooth devices). Press “OK” to complete the pairing process.
6. Once pairing is complete there will be a prompt tone and the LED indicator on the
speaker will keep flashing slowly.

FAQ’s
1. Why isn’t there any sound even though the speaker is turned on?
Please make sure that the battery has been charged for at least 4 hours. The red LED will
be flashing when charging. For optimal performance, please set the volume level of your
MP3 to 60-70%.
2. Why isn’t there any sound when I connect the speaker to my music player?
Case 1: When you connect the 3.5mm audio cable to your speaker, make sure that the
speaker is switched to the cable function and that music is playing on your music player.
Check if the volume is adjusted too low. See if the 3.5mm audio jack is properly
connected. Keep in mind that the speaker is not a USB audio device; it does not play
music via USB connection. The USB plug is for charging only.
Case 2: When you connect your speaker using Bluetooth, make sure your music player’s
Bluetooth is turned on, the speaker is switched to the Bluetooth function and that music
is playing on your music player. Check if the volume is adjusted too low. Check if the
speaker and your device are paired properly, once pairing is complete there will be a
prompt tone and the LED indicator on the speaker will keep flashing slowly.
3. Is this a USB audio device?
No, this is not a USB audio device. The USB plug is for charging purposes only. To play
music, connect the 3.5mm audio jack to any music player.
4. How can I tell if the speaker has been fully charged?
When the indicator LED changes from flashing red to solid white, the speaker has been
fully charged.
Safety Precautions
Please follow the rules outlined in this guide closely to ensure your safety and flawless
operation:
• Be cautious of any edges, uneven surfaces, metal parts, accessories or packaging to
prevent possible injury or damage. Take note that this product should not be placed in
your mouth.
• Do not modify, repair or dismantle the product. Doing so may result in fire, electric
shock, complete breakdown of the product, etc. and will void the warranty.
• Do not use any kind of liquid to clean the product. Keep in mind that the surface of the
product should only be wiped with a clean dry cloth.
• Do not use this product in locations with high temperatures or high humidity levels (i.e.:
bathrooms); ideally, the product should be used in a location free of excessive dust and
not exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not insert foreign objects or liquids into the product; this could damage the product.
• Do not touch this product when your hands are wet; this could result in electric shock.
• Refrain from dropping the product or bumping it against other objects.

• Do not use this product in hazardous locations.
• Should any abnormal situations or problems occur while using this product, discontinue
its use immediately.
• The product may explode if disposed of in a fire.
• Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
• This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide

Battery
Although fully charged and ready for use, it is recommended that you completely use the
initial charge up, then recharge the product at least two more times to ensure the best
possible performance.

accessories. They could hurt themselves or others and could accidentally damage the
product. Your product and its accessories may contain small parts that could become
detached and create a choking hazard.
Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment

product should not be treated as household waste. Instead, it should be left at the
appropriate collection point for the recycling of electronic equipment. By ensuring this

product is disposed of correctly, you are helping to prevent negative consequences for

office, household waste disposal service or where you purchased the product.
Limited Warranty
If within 12 months of purchase this product or any part thereof is proven to be defective
by reason of faulty workmanship or defect in materials, we will repair or replace the same
product free of charge of labor or materials on condition that:
1. The original invoice or sales receipt with the date of purchase is presented with the
defective unit.
2. Lifetrons does not take any responsibility for lost information of any kind and will not
reimburse you for any such loss.
3. The limited warranty is only valid if the original proof of purchase for this product,
issued by a Lifetrons authorized dealer, specifying the date of purchase, is presented with
the product to be repaired or replaced. Lifetrons reserves the right to refuse warranty
service if this information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of
the product from the dealer.
4. A rechargeable battery can be charged and discharged over one hundred times.
However, it will eventually wear out - this is not a defect and corresponds to normal wear
and tear. When the playback-time or standby time is noticeably shorter, it is time to
replace your battery. Please do not make repairs, modifications, or installations without
contacting an authorized Lifetrons representative.
5. The warranty does not cover product failures which have been caused by use of
accessories or other peripheral devices which are not Lifetrons branded original
accessories intended for use with the product. The warranty does not cover any damage
caused by misuse, abuse, neglect or accidental breakage.
6. The warranty does not cover product failures caused by modifications, repairs or
disassembly by any person not authorized by the manufacturer.
7. Any defective unit or part shall become property of the manufacturer.
