used with safety precautions in mind.
Fill enough fog fluid before plugging in, empty fluid
tank when not in use or moving.

•Betteruseourhighqualitywater-basedfoguid,randomusewith
 otherfoguidmayjamthepipe,orevenerodethecomponents

•Keepsufcientfoguidintank.Operatingtheunitwithout 
 sufcientfoguid,willdamagethepump.
•Ifanyabnormalrunningoccurs,stopitimmediately,emptytheuid,
and bring the done up unit (recommend original box) to your agent
 ordealerforservicing.Makesurealluidisemptyfromthetank
 beforemovingorshipping.

 (Cofgure1).Useonlyhighquality,water-basedfoguid.

6. Plugmainspowercordfromthefogmachineintoappropriate
 powersupplysocket.Waitabout7minutesforheatingelementto
heat up.

8. If fog is emitted continuously for a long time, the heating element
temperature may drop, shutting off fog production. If so, please
 donotactivateforemission.Waitbriey.Whentheheating
element temperature rises, fog emissions can be resumed.

DMX Control Operation (Any of DMX Dip 1-9 “ON”)
Use DMX Dip switches 1-9 to set the unit to the desired DMX512 address.
Refer to the DMX value guide in Appendix B.
1. ConnecttheDMX512controllercabletotheinputsocket
 (Gofgure1)ofthefogmachineunit.Makesurethesignalcable
 polarityiscorrect.Connectpowerlines.Yourmachineisnow
 readyforoperationwithyourDMXcontroller.
2. Ifdesired,connectanotherfogmachine:Plugoneendofanother
 signalcableintotheoutputsocket(Fofgure1)onthebackof
 therstSMOKE-1500;plugtheotherendofthesignalcabletothe
 inputsocket(Gofgure1)onthebackofthesecondSMOKE-1500.
 Followthesameproceduretolinkmorefogmachine,ifdesired.

MASTER/SLAVER Operation (Any of DMX Dip 1-9 “OFF”)
Morethantwofoggerscanbesetassynchronicfoggingmodeby
SMOKE-CONTROL.Followingisthesettingway:
1. Master fogger: 1.SetDMXDipSwitch1-9toOFF,atthismoment,
 DMXforoutputmode,usedtocontrolotherfogmachines
 connectedtofollowthesynchronousaction;
2. Slave fogger: Afterconnectinginseries,setDMXaddressofall
 slavefoggersto“1”andsetitsFDS1toOFF(thenumberof
 channelsissettosinglechannel);
3. Done! NowyoucanusetheSMOKE-CONTROLformaster/slave
operation.

 mode,onlyforreceivingexternalDMXcontrolsignals,andstop
 Master/SlavecontrolbySMOKE-CONTROL.
• ForMaster/Slavecontrol,onlyonefoggercanbesetastheMaster
 fogger.TheDMXDip1-9cannotbesettoOFFforanyoftheother
 Slavefogger.
• AsthehighpowerbetterputSMOKE-1500insteadyplace.
Ifdotiltitforspecialneed,pleasefastenitthoroughlywithincline
anglewithin15degree.
PluggingSMOKE-1500in,theredLEDundertankbottomwill
glowindicatingpoweron&warming-up.Checkifwithcorrect
voltageincaseitdoesn’tglow.RedLEDoffappearsaswarm-up
arrivesatfoggingpoint,indicatinganishedheatingtime.Besides,
SMOKE-1500devisesthelowuidsensor.RedLEDundertank
bottomwillautomaticallyashtowarnlowuidsupply.Thepump
stopssimultaneously.Keepaneyeontoensureenoughfoguid
whenrunning.
Shouldtherebeanylowfogemitted,runningnoisilyorhindered
fogging,pullouttheplugimmediately.Checkifstringenoughfog
uid,orifoutsidefuse,controllerconnectionandpowersupply
improper,ifnot,plug-inagain,stillpersistsabnormalrunning,check
ifwithanunhinderedpipe,withowinguid.Ifcausationisunclear,
stoprunningtoavoidanydamage,shutdowntocoolit,andbring
unittoyourlocalagentorappointedserviceplaceforinspection,
prohibit any dismantlement by yourself.

Thistroubleshootingguideismeanttohelpsolvingsimpleproblems.
Ifaproblemoccurs,carryoutthestepsbelowinsequenceuntila
solutionisfound.Iftheproblempersists,referservicingtoaqualied
technician.
-- Power Connected but No Fog Is Emitted
1. Checkthepowersupply.Plugtheunitintogroundedelectricpower
 supplysocketwithpropervoltage.
2. Checkyourcontrollerconnection.
3. CheckyourDMXaddresssetting.
4. Disconnectfogmachinefromelectricpowersupply.Replacefuse
 withoneofthesametype.
Beforedoingmaintenance,pleasemakesurethatthepoweriscut,the
powercordisunplugged,andthemachineitselfhascooleddown.
The maintenance must be done by qualified person.
• Thefogliquidisnotallowedtogetdirty.Besuretoalwayscleanor
 replacethecapsonthefogliquidvesselandtightthecoverofthe
 fogmachineliquidtankimmediatelyafterlling.
• Thenozzlecanbepossiblyjammedwithimpuritiesafterlong-time
 use.Dismantlethenozzleforcleaningeverycertainperiodoftime
 tokeepitsow.
• Periodicallychecktheconnectionsamongtheoiltube,thepump
 andtheheatertoseeifthere’soilleaking.Ifpositive,locktightthe
 connectionscarefullywithpropertool.
• PCboardshouldbekeptfrombeingdirtiedwithoil.Incasethis
 happened,dismantlecarefullythePCB,andhaveitbrushed
 cleanbothsideswithdilutealcohol.Leaveitdryitself,theninstallit
 back.Makesureallwiresarewellconnected.
• Cleanthemetalcoverwithdrycloth.

SMOKE-CONTROL timing controller is suitable for SMOKE-1500,
the operating manners and functions as follows:
1. The order of fogging:
 ManualFogging-->ContinuousFogging-->TimingFogging
2. RedLEDofmachine:On,heatingup;Off,heatingiscompleted;
 Slowash,lowuidlevelindication;Fastash,thethermalsensor
 wirefallsofforactsabnormal;Intermittentash,thecommunication
of thermo circuit and main control circuit faulted.
3. WhenTIMERbuttonpressed(down),theupperredledglows,
 meanstimingfunctionturnsON;thefoggingdurationisadjusted
 byturningDurationknob,Intervalknobsetstheamountoftime
 inbetweeneveryfogoutput,andVolumeknobisadjustthe
 fogvolume.DurationandIntervalknobsareeffectiveatthis
 moment.TIMERbuttonrelease(up)toOFFthetimingfunction.
4. WhenCONTINUOUSbuttonpressed(down)toturnson,theupper
 redLEDglows,themachineemitsfogcontinuouslyuntilanOFF
 greenLEDappears(indicatingtimeisnowtowarm-upagain).
 Underthisstate,Volumecouldbeadjustedbyknob.TIMERand
 MANUALbuttonareineffectiveatthismoment.
5. WhentheMANUALbuttonispressed(down),thefogoutputis
 outputwiththemaximumamountofsmoke.WhentheMANUAL
button is release (up), it returns to its original state.
Caution: Beforeremovingorreplacingtheremotecontrolunit
  disconnectthepowercord.
