Solaris – QUICK GUIDE – RESETTING THE FUSE
1. While facing the back of the device, the left round opening is the location of
the device fuse/breaker. It operates similar to any other breaker. If there is
a power surge or other electrical event beyond the normal capacity of the
device, the breaker or fuse will be tripped.
a. The device should always be making noise when it is plugged in.
The vacuum cleaner noise indicates the device is on. If you ever
walk into a room and the device is plugged in, but you do not hear
any noise, is an indication that the breaker/fuse has been tripped.
b. Resetting the fuse is done by inserting your finger into the left
opening and flipping the switch. If the fuse/breaker on the device
was tripped, the device would restart as soon as the switch is
flipped. Failure to start would indicate the need to reset the
facility Fuse/breaker.
c. Always inform nursing if there is a loss of power to any room, as
power loss may not be isolated to just that one room.
