1. INTRODUZIONE
Rilevatore di fumo ad uso domestico di tipo fotoelettrico. Questo
tipo di rilevatori sono generalmente più efcaci nel rilevare sia
incendi lenti che bruciano per ore, sia incendi che consumano
velocemente materiali combustibili e che si diffondono
rapidamente.

1. DESCRIPTION
Photoelectric smoke detector for domestic use. These types of
detectors are generally more effective in detecting both slow res
that burn for hours and res that quickly consume combustible
materials and spread quickly.

2. INSTALLAZIONE
Prima di procedere all'installazione, prestare attenzione alle
seguenti note:
• non installare vicino a forti passaggi d'aria come ventilatori,
porte, nestre ecc., che potrebbero allontanare II fumo dal
rilevatore;
• non installare in ambienti con umidità elevata come bagni
e docce, o dove Ia temperatura supera I 39 °C o scende al
di sotto di 5°C in quanto l'elevata umidità può innescare un
falso allarme;
• non installare all'interno di un controsoftto, in quanto
potrebbe essere difcile per il fumo raggiungere il rilevatore;
• non installare ad una distanza inferiore di 30 cm da pareti,
punti luce o angoli della stanza;
• non installare nelle aree infestate da insetti in quanto insetti
molto piccoli possono alterare le prestazioni del dispositivo;
• non installare in aeree molto polverose o sporche, sporco
e polvere possono accumularsi e comprometterne le pre-
stazioni;
• non installare entro 1,5 m da lampade uorescenti;
• in camere con softti inclinati, a punta o a capanna, instal-
lare il dispositivo sul softto a 90 cm dal suo punto più alto.
NOTA:
Al ne di garantire il corretto funzionamento del rilevatore, è ne-
cessario testarlo settimanalmente facendo riferimento a quanto
riportato nella relativa sezione "segnalazione e funzioni".
2.1 VERIFICA PORTATA
Prima di installare il dispositivo è consigliabile vericare la
bontà del segnale visualizzandone l'intensità direttamente
sulla centrale. Disturbi e condizioni ambientali infatti possono
alterarne la qualità; è consigliato dunque effettuare il test ad
una distanza superiore rispetto a quella effettiva di installazione
e interponenendo tutti gli ostacoli che potrebbero presentarsi
durante il normale utilizzo (es.: chiudere porte, nestre, etc.).
2.2 FISSAGGIO SUL SOFFITTO
Facendo riferimento all'immagine di seguito, Al ne di garantire
una opportuna protezione di base, installare un rilevatore nei
locali contrassegnati con il simbolo ●. L' installazione nei locali
contrassegnati con il simbolo ○ è raccomandata al fine di
garantire un'ottimale copertura dell'abitazione.

2. INSTALLATION
Before proceeding with the installation, pay attention to the
following notes:
• do not install near strong air passages such as fans, doors,
windows etc., which could draw smoke away from the
detector;
• do not install in environments with high humidity such as
bathrooms and showers, or where the temperature exceeds
39 °C or drops below 5 °C as the high humidity can trigger
a false alarm;
• do not install inside a false ceiling, as it may be difcult for
the smoke to reach the detector;
• do not install at a distance of less than 30 cm from walls,
lights or corners of the room;
• do not install in insect infested areas as very small insects
can alter the performance of the device;
• do not install in very dusty or dirty areas, dirt and dust can
accumulate and compromise its performance;
• do not install within 1.5 m of uorescent lamps;
• in rooms with sloped, pointed or gabled ceilings, install the
device on the ceiling 90 cm from its highest point.
NOTE:
In order to ensure the correct functioning of the detector, it is
necessary to test it weekly by referring to the information in the
relevant section "signalling and functions".
2.1 RADIO RANGE CHECK
Before installing the device, it is advisable to check the goodness
of the signal by displaying its intensity directly on the control
panel. In fact, disturbances and environmental conditions can
alter its quality; it is therefore recommended to carry out the test
at a greater distance than the actual installation distance and
interposing all obstacles that could arise during normal use (eg:
closing doors, windows, etc.).
2.2 FIXING ON THE CEILING
Referring to the image below, In order to ensure a proper basic
protection, install a detector in the premises marked with the
● symbol. Installation in rooms marked with the ○ symbol is
recommended in order to ensure optimal coverage of the home.

2.3 MEMORIZZAZIONE
Memorizzare la periferica in centrale prima di installarla nella sua
sede facendo riferimento a quanto riportato:
1. impostare la centrale GOLD 869 o il modulo TX/RX GOLD
869 in apprendimento periferiche facendo riferimento al
relativo manuale;
2. aprire il dispositivo;
3. Inserire la pila C come indicato in gura 2 prestando
attenzione alla polarità riportata sulla scheda trasmettitore.
Il LED rosso comincerà a lampeggiare ad intermittenza.
4. Premere per tre volte il tasto di memorizzazione presente
sulla scheda per inviare la trama di memorizzazione. Il LED
rosso cesserà di lampeggiare.
NOTA:
Nel caso la periferica fosse già memorizzata in centrale la
trama di memorizzazione non verrà inviata ed il LED rosso
del trasmettitore continuerà a lampeggiare anche dopo aver
premuto per tre volte il tasto di memorizzazione. E’ possibile
forzare questa situazione ma prima è fondamentale vericare
che la periferica non sia effettivamente già presente in centrale.
Dopo avere vericato in centrale che la periferica non sia stata
precedentemente memorizzata, premere per dieci volte il tasto
di memorizzazione in modo da inviare alla centrale una nuova
trama di memorizzazione.
2.3 PAIRING
Pair the device with the control panel before installing it in its seat
referring to the following:
1. set the GOLD 869 control panel or the GOLD 869 TX/RX
module in device storage, referring to the relative manual;
2. open the device;
3. Insert battery C as indicated in gure 2 paying attention to
the polarity indicated on the transmitter board. The red LED
will begin to ash intermittently;
4. Press the memory key on the board three times to send the
memorization frame. The red LED will stop ashing.
NOTE:
If the device was already stored in the control panel/receiver the
storage message will not be sent and the red LED of the device
will continue to ash even after pressing three times the tamper
microswitch. This situation can be forced but before it is essen-
tial to check that the device is not already stored on the control
panel. After checking on the control panel that the device has
not been previously stored, press for ten times the tamper mi-
croswitch to send a new message to the control panel.
Per procedere all'installazione seguire quindi i passi riportati di
seguito:
• Ruotare il modulo rilevatore e separarlo dalla base
contentente il modulo ricetrasmittente GOLD;
• aprire il rilevatore ruotando il coperchio;
• ssare la base al softto del locale da monitorare;
• sul modulo rilevatore, individuare la levetta rappresentata
nell'immagine successiva e portarla in posizione "Off" in
modo da disattivare le impostazioni di fabbrica;
• rimontare il modulo rilevatore dopo aver effettuato la
memorizzazione.
To proceed with the installation, follow the steps below:
• Rotate the detector module and separate it from the base
containing the GOLD TX/RX module;
• open the detector by turning the cover;
• x the base to the ceiling of the room to be monitored;
• on the detector module, locate the lever shown in the next
image and move it to the "Off" position to disable the factory
settings;
• reassemble the detector module after pairing performed.

5. MANUTENZIONE E VERIFICHE PE-
RIODICHE
Al ne di garantire il corretto funzionamento, è necessario sosti-
tuire la batteria ogni 2 anni
ATTENZIONE! Per rimuovere sporcizie particolar-
mente evidenti NON utilizzare prodotti a base di clo-
ro, prodotti abrasivi oppure alcool.
1. Pulire il coperchio con un panno inumidito con acqua.
2. Ripassare con un panno asciutto.
6. SMALTIMENTO E ROTTAMAZIONE
1. Rimuovere il rilevatore dalla base con modulo radio
2. Scollegare la scheda
3. Dividere le parti in base alla loro tipologia e smaltirle in accor-
do con le leggi vigenti.
ATTENZIONE!
Non disperdere nell’ambiente i componenti ed ogni
altro materiale del prodotto.
Rivolgersi a consorzi abilitati allo smaltimento ed al riciclag-
gio dei materiali.
4. SEGNALAZIONI E FUNZIONI
• Segnalazione di allarme in corso:
Le informazioni di incendio in corso, oltre che ad essere in-
viate in centrale, vengono visualizzate direttamente dal di-
spositivo tramite il lampeggio del LED e un suono regolare
emesso dal buzzer.
• Muto:
In caso di segnalazione, è possibile silenziare il cicalino per
circa 10 minuti tenendo premuto il pulsante di test. Passato
questo arco di tempo, il rilevatore tornerà in stand-by.
• Allarme di bassa tensione:
nel caso in cui la tensione della pila interna del rilevatore sia
inferiore a 2,4 V, il buzzer emette brevi suoni e il LED ros-
so lampeggia ogni 50 secondi. In questo caso è necessario
procedere con la sostituzione della sola parte rilevatore (non
la base con modulo radio) ed è possibile ordinarla con codi-
ce 001801/00091AA.
• Test:
Per assicurare il corretto funzionamento del dispositivo,
è consigliabile eseguire settimanalmente il test tenendo
premuto il tasto presente sul coperchio. Nel caso in cui
il LED lampeggi e venga emesso un suono per tutta la
durata della pressione, vuol dire che il rilevatore funziona
regolarmente. Nel caso in cui il LED emetta 8 lampeggi e
non si senta alcun suono, è presente un'anomalia. In tal
caso è necessario sostituire la sola unità rilevatrice (codice
001801/00091AA)
4. SIGNALLING AND FUNCTIONS
• Alarm signal in progress:
The information of a re in progress, as well as being sent to
the control panel, is displayed directly by the device through
the ashing of the LED and a regular sound emitted by the
buzzer.
• Mute:
In the event of a signal, the buzzer can be silenced for ap-
proximately 10 minutes by holding down the test button. Af-
ter this time, the detector will return to stand-by.
• Low voltage alarm:
if the internal battery voltage of the detector is lower than
2.4 V, the buzzer emits short beeps and the red LED ashes
every 50 seconds. In this case it is necessary to proceed
with the replacement of only the detector part (not the base
with radio module) and it is possible to order it with code
001801/00091AA.
• Test:
To ensure correct operation of the device, it is advisable to
carry out the test weekly by holding down the button on the
lid. If the LED ashes and a sound is emitted for the duration
of the pressure, it means that the detector is working properly.
If the LED emits 8 ashes and no sound is heard, there is
an anomaly. In this case, only the detector unit needs to be
replaced (Item 001801/00091AA).
3. IMPOSTAZIONI
Per impostazioni e settaggi della periferica fare riferimento al
manuale della centrale serie GOLD 869 o modulo TX/RX GOLD
869.

GOLD 869 or TX/RX GOLD 869 module.
5. MAINTENANCE AND PERIODIC
CHECKS
In order to guarantee the ensure the correct work, is compulsory
to replace the battery every 2 years.
IMPORTANT!
Do NOT use chlorine-based or abrasive products or
alcohol to remove particularly noticeable dirt.
1. Clean the lid with a cloth dampened with water.
2. Wipe with a dry cloth.
6. DISPOSAL AND SCRAPPING
1. Remove the detector from the base with radio module.
2. Disconnect the board.
3. Divide the parts by type and dispose of them in accordance
with applicable laws.
IMPORTANT!
Do not dispose of the components or any other pro-
duct material in the environment.
Seek the assistance of companies authorised to dispose of
and recycle waste materials.
