CHAPTER 2:
DESCRIPTION OF THE
MACHINE
2.1. INTRODUCTION
Scissor-type Lifter adopts the scissor-type mechanical structure; utilize the hydraulic pressure
to produce the lifting power. The air pressure controls the lock and loosening of the execution
components. The mechanical lock could insure the security and the hydraulic balance valve adjust
the lifting at level. It possesses many advantages, such as simple structure, advanced technology,
easy operation, and safety. It is especially suitable for high precision wheel alignment and Auto’s
repair and maintenance. The features as below:
1. Newly designed extension table and in-ground construction,could be used for more model
2. Support arm made of Q345 hight strength steel
3. Four cylinder design with super power
4. Upper limit fuction to ensure safe operation
5. Equipped with security lock,pneumatic release
2.2. INTEND USE
This scissor vehicle lift can lift various vehicles which weight is less than rated capacity. And it is
suitable for vehicle test, repair, maintenance and care.
This lift is designed to lift vehicles, not for other usage.
• Forbid to use for washing and spraying vehicles!
• Forbid to lift vehicle which weight is over rated capacity.
• Forbid to park car.

For the connection of the pneumatic lines proceed as follow:
• Connect the pneumatic lines pre-assembled on the lift to the solenoid air valve in the control unit
according to the pneumatic diagram;
• Connect the pneumatic system of the lift to the pneumatic supply at site;
• Check the pneumatic control operations for proper performance.
• Fix the limit switch onto the base platform.
• Raise the lift at a height of 2050 mm to check for the proper function.

CHAPTER 5:
ADJUSTMENT
5.1. START
5.2. BLEEDING
• Make sure all pins and bolts to insure proper mounting
• Make sure the electrical system feeding voltage is equal to that specied in the nameplate on the
motor
• Make sure the electric connections are in compliant with the electrical diagram.
• Make sure no leakage or blow-up in hydraulic line
• Make sure the working area is free from people and objects
• Grease sliding seats of blocks placed under platforms and on bases
• Pour oil in the tank (about 5 liters more then one time)
• Verify that the control unit is powered
• Verify that the motor direction of rotation is that shown on the label by pushing UP button. If
motor gets hot or sounds peculiar, stop immediately and recheck the electric connections
• Turn on the two leveling valves, raising the lift slowly by pressing UP button until cylinders bottom
out and the lift stops. DO NOT continue pressing button after lift reaches full height. Damage to
motor can occur if continued.
• Cylinders may jump upon initial start up which is normal due to trapped air inside the hydraulic
lines. In case that the lift cannot be raised upon initial start up due to trapped air inside the pump:
unloose the maximum pressure valve, in-push the UP button and retighten the valve after trapped
air has escaped, then raise the lift at full height.
• Lower the lift completely.
• Repeat raise and lower the lift completely at least 3 times to equalize the oil pressure in each
cylinder.
• Trun off two leveling valves, raising lift to check if two platforms are in the same level. If not, turn
on the leveling valve on the platform which raise slowly, then rising two platforms to the same
level.
• Turn off two leveling valves, pressing LOWERI to lower the lift, if two platforms not in the same
level, turn on the leveling valve on the platform which lower slowly, then lowering two plat forms
to the same level.
• Turn off the leveling valves, press UP to check the platforms are in the same level. If not, pls repeat
the above last two steps.

5.3. CHECKS NO LOAD
5.4. CHECK WITH LOAD
Carry out two or three complete cycles of lowering and lifting and check:
• the safety devices for proper operation
• proper oil level in the tank
• no leakage and blow-by in hydraulic line and pneumatic line
• cylinder for proper operation
• the lift for reaching its maximum height
WARNING: Please follow carefully the instructions in the coming paragraph for
avoiding damages on the lift.
Carry out two or three complete cycles of lowering and lifting and check:
• Repeat the 5.3 section , and check no strange noise during lifting and lowering

POWER
SWITCH
Controls for operating the lift are:
POWER SWITCH
The switch can be set in two positions:
• OFF position: the lift electric circuit is not
powered; the switch can be padlocked to
prevent the use of the lift.
• ON position: lift electric circuit is powered
INDICATOR LIGHT
It shows that the electric circuit is powered
UP BUTTON
When pressed, the motor and hydraulic circuit are
operated and the lift will be raised
DOWN BUTTON
When pressed, the lift will take seconds to release
the safety by means of the electromagnets and
then the lowering solenoid valve is powered: the
lift begins to lower under its weight and the load
lifted.

6.2. TO RAISE THE LIFT
• Place the vehicle at the center of the
platform ;
• Place pads under the positions indicated for
lifting, by the motor vehicle’s manufacturer;
• Place rubber pads on the platforms where
the lifting points will contact and press UP
switch to lift the vehicle to 200mm~300mm
(9 to 12 inches) from the oor;
• Make sure that the two platforms are
leveled and nothing unusual is found;
• Keep pressing UP switch until the vehicle
rises to the required height, then press
LOCK switch..
• Press the SCRAM switch,the INDICATOR
LIGHT will be off.
6.3. TO LOWER THE LIFT
• Turn on the SCRAM switch;
• Press the DOWN switch;
• The lift will descend, under its own weight
and car’s one, to the safety height of
500mm;
• Drive away the vehicle until the lift is
lowered to ground completely
